Tiene un pub justo debajo y dormíamos en la planta 1. Imposible dormir hasta las 2am que cerraba el establecimiento.

I can consider that there is no elevator but atleast staff like the man should offer help to carry up the luggage. The rest are all fine

Location is fantastic and the hostel is kept quite clean. Not too far from most of the major attractions and has a tube station right around the corner too. I was on the third floor and it was nice and quiet (even on the weekend).

Wifi is really bad, like practically unusable at times which is frustrating. The showers are quite small and awkward to use as well I had food stolen out of the common room which I know isn't the fault of the hostel but just want to note it was part of my experience staying here, lesson learned tho, don't buy food other people are going to want :)

The location of this hostel is great, it is close to main attractions. Restrooms were cleaned very often.

I liked the kitchen where it's easy to cook and share a meal, and there are sockets near each bed which are quite comfortable. Staff is available 24/7 and very helpful !

Good location - I’d never stayed in a hostel before but this was about the only place I could stay for a reasonable price for New Years Eve - and I’d stay again there for one night - basic facilities but place was reasonably clean and I did sleep comfortably for few hours after getting in late after going out for New Years Eve. Reception was helpful and explained things clearly

You know what you are getting when you book a hostel - you are booking a cheap basic bed for a night … so it’s no good then comparing it to a hotel and complaining.

Top staff, top management, I found this hostel inviting and cheerful, a result not easy to achieve in London’s hospitality competitive market during the low season, when the weather is bad. I arrived at the property on a rainy weeknight, worried about the quality of the accommodation. Cold and rain can stir up trouble, only the best lodging establishments are always lively, some others have dirty linen to wash in private. Nobody likes to sleep in a run down, lifeless, uninspiring bedroom, whatever their gender, age, body type, cultural background and so forth, but according to guests’ feedback in the whole of Europe it occurs sometimes. It happened to me years ago, I read the description of a hostel on the web, watched the pictures and gave it a go, but when I walked into my room I realised that it was so mouldy, decayed and desolating that it couldn’t have been suitable to an average traveller like me but only to people who would have slept there for a really cheap price or to be used as a storage room. Nonetheless Dover Castle Hostel was shining brightly, all the rooms I visited were in good shape, all facilities were cleaned and serviced regularly and there was a relaxed, sociable vibe. In particular, the online advertisements faithfully reflect what I experienced, none of the hostel features is misrepresented as it occasionally happens throughout Europe. Communication and understanding of guests are keys that open many doors.

Loved the location of the hostel. The closest tube station is around 3 minutes walk. London bridge is around 10 minutes walk. All the major landmarks are really close. Price per night was really great and affordable.

The sinks in the toilets could be replaced and newer ones should be installed. Currently there are separate taps for cold and hot water which makes it difficult to mix the water to bring it to required temperature.
