Amazing view of the mountains and the town! Water pressure in the bathrooms were 10/10. Loved the chocolate and wine touches!

The way to the apartment is hard. There are some gravel that you have to drag your suitcases through and a steep flight of stairs to get in. Not recommend for people with mobility issues.

Having visited Zermatt many times we wanted a different experience as we didn’t want to be in the confines of a hotel , we found this place by chance and on arrival we were blown away with how lovely it was , super clean and decorated beautifully , the location is just so delightful on the edge of the village with a fabulous unspoilt view of the Matterhorn . It was so quiet and relaxing being away from the main centre of town. It was a fabulous experience and very shortly felt like our home where we could relax after a busy day! Also having a ski room where we could use the washing machine and drying facilities really helped as we didn’t have to go home with a case full of dirty clothes ! Just the greatest find!

I would be hard pushed to criticise this property and my only minor gripe would be that the bed could do with either better pillows or at least a choice of pillow as I personally found the one provided far too soft for me!

it was quite hot and even when the heating was turned off. we could always open the window though. long walk into town however we did already know this was the case when booking

Very nice location to spot on Matterhorn

The washing machine was not in the room but in the skies room. And other tenants occupied the washing machine and did not get their clothes out for whole day. There should be a notice and a basket so people know their cloths will be removed if they are ready.

Alpharmonie was one of the best bookings we’ve ever made. It’s location in Zermatt is extraordinary. You feel like you could practically touch the Matterhorn. It’s located slightly out of town in a beautiful little Hamlet called Winklematten that feels like you’re staying in a little town within a little town. It was clean, comfortable, five minutes walk to a free electric bus service, eight minutes walk to the nearest lift station where there was ski lockers and very easy walk into town (about 15 mins)

The view. A bottle of wine offered. (Very) Warm and clean. For our purposes (relax and hike) the location out of centre was great. Many hikes start just behind the flat and you can avoid the busy town centre.. If we had been skiing we would hated the walk up every day ...

First of all, we loved our holiday in zermatt -- but when it comes to the apartment, we think it needs an upgrade. It has little charm inside and the decor is a bit outdated with bulky furniture of little aesthetic or functional value. The mattress is old and sagging which is a bit uncomfortable. One last thing that grates a bit... the whole process feels a bit unwelcoming: the "welcome booklet" in the flat spends most of its time telling you how to dispose of rubbish and how to pay the city tax, there are few suggestions about what to do, that the hikes start behind the flat (a major asset!) where you can find local restaurants, shops etc without having to trek down to the train station etc. The kitchen is well equipped incl fondue and raclette machine but for a 6 night stay it would have been nice not to have to buy your own cleaning products ... the flat was advertised as equipped with a washing machine.. but you have to pay extra for using it. All in all, we liked the apartment, loved the view and the stay but it's not for everyone!

Communication was not the best I asked for some information and only received half of the answers in due time, for example, asked for late check out for one of the rooms, never got an answer, supposed it was ok, then at 9 a.m got a phone call asking why some guests are still there. 9 a.m is way too early for check out. Was informed that tourist tax was 3chf, after a few days I received information it was 4 chf/day. Had a complaint from one of the guests that one of the rooms is cold, never got an answer on that. and then there was the garbage issue. rented out 3 apartments, I did clean up my own but the guests in the 4 bedroom apartment did not take their own garbage out (out meaning in a special bag we had to procure ourselves from downtown and apparently were expected to take out the trash somewhere 500m or so away from the property). There was info about where we CAN take the trash, but not that we, as guests, are obliged to do so. Not every guest comes from Switzerland, it is not custom anywhere I have traveled (30+ countries) for guests to be in charge of the trash, especially since it is such an issue in Zermatt that you can only deposit it in some specific bag, no explanation whether you have to select it or not, just put it in the bag. i did not appeciate the shaming I got from this, like we destroyed the apartment or smth for leaving a few cups on the table and 4 bags of trash coming from a 8 person apartment for which they provided 1 garbage bag for the whole 5 days of our stay. Never in my life I was scolded as a guest as I was here. if someone is a guest in my country he is not expected to take out the trash. and just to be clear, I did take out my own trash and clean everything in my own room, but I did this out of courtesy for the owner and I do it everywhere I go, but not everybody does this and it is ok.

The location and view were just stunning and the property was spacious, clean and cozy.

Maybe an upgraded coffee maker, but was truly a perfect place.
