A great value with very helpful and friendly staff. The room was basic but quiet and clean. It is located on the main road, close to restaurants and shops. Simple but tasty inexpensive breakfast too. It served us well for the night before the slow boat (boat tickets purchased at hotel, morning tuktuk pickup at hotel).

Very helpful staff and in a great location. Good breakfast available. Very helpful in booking the slow boat and for providing lunch for it.
The room wasn't the cleanest we've stayed in. There were lots of ants in the bathroom and some in the bedroom area as well.

Super cosy room! A big window, a nice mirror, great beds. The location was great and they took us to the pier! :) Thank you!

Lovely owners very friendly and helpful, location was great , warm shower , clean , great as a stop over for the slow boat , nice breakfast and take away sandwiches for the boat. . They booked our tickets and we got really good seats , for the first boat.

Parfait pour une nuit . Excellent rapport qualité prix. Bon accueil . Proximité de petites épiceries, restaurants et de lieux pour acheter carte sim. A quelques minutes du Wat Chome Khaou Namirate pour admirer le coucher de soleil sur le Mekong .
On avait une chambre (lit double) beaucoup plus spacieuse que prévu ( dans le descriptif, il était écrit 8m2 ! ). Climatisation et salle de bain privative eau chaude , 2 petites bouteilles d'eau. Au calme elle donnait sur le côté au 1er étage, vue sur des toits . Un breakfast proposé pour 2e30/pers. très bien.
Il ne faut pas trop être regardant sur le ménage et un manque d'entretien.

The lady who runs the place is very dedicated and friendly. She exchanged us money and booked the minivan to Luang Namtha for us. The breakfast was good with quiet a few options to choose from (real crispy french baguette!). Shower hat good hot water. beds were a little firm but not too bad.
The place is pretty old. The bathroom was run down and dirty. The blankets looked a bit old. The chairs were miniature. It was very noisy in the night in the guesthouse, either from the owners or other guests talking very loudly in the rooms and hallway.

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt würde ich etwas anderes suchen. Es war nicht besonders sauber und es gab kein heißes Wasser.

Quarto muito espaçoso e limpo. Ficámos a apenas 15min a pé do slow boat pier. Staff bastante simpático e prestável.

Bathroom was very basic and we asked if we could have dinner in the attached restaurant and were told no because they had their family there for dinner!

Manager lovely. Nice breakfast. Good location, although town small so all guesthouses are probably in good location. Rooms were basic but spacious and clean. Room was also very cheap. Over the road from massage place which was good.
Mattresses very hard. But ok for one night.

Tegenover het kantoor van de gibbon experience. Simpele kamer met prima bed en redelijke wifi. Ontbijt en lunchpakketjes (bijv voor de slowboat, die ze ook met plezier voor je boeken) af te nemen tegen een prima bedrag. Warm water als je de douche niet helemaal openzet. Voor deze prijs helemaal top!
De badkamer was niet goed schoongemaakt, maar nogmaals voor deze prijs was daarmee prima te leven.

Sehr zentrale Lage bei gutem Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Die Besitzerin bewirtschaftet die verbesserungswürdige Immobilie perfekt. Sie war bei der Weiterfahrt sehr behilflich und hat alles Bestens organisiert.
Das Badezimmer braucht Modernisierung.

Unglaublich freundliches Personal und unglaublicher Preis für ein Doppelzimmer. Die meisten Unterkünfte an diesem Ort machen die privaten Zimmer teuer, da dieser Ort nur aus Touristen die entweder die Gibbon Exp. machen oder mit dem Slow-Boat weiterreisen. Lunch Pakete kann man ebenfalls bestellen und wurden zuverlässig und pünktlich abgegeben.

Aangezien we de Gibbon Experience gingen doen was de locatie perfect. Zoals meer mensen schrijven is de host (de dochter denk ik?) super gastvrij. De kamer is basic maar voor deze prijs zeker prima. Ontbijt is niet inbegrepen maar kan je gewoon wel afnemen tegen betaling en is lekker.
De WiFi zou wat sterker kunnen in de kamer. Alles is verder ietwat gedateerd maar nogmaals: voor deze prijs, geen klachten

It is in the city centre, surrounded by many restaurants, but even at the guesthouse you can eat and have nice breakfast. The staff is very kind and the receptionist lady speaks excellent English and very helpful.
We were lucky to see two different kind of cockroaches, new types we never saw before. For us, it is okay, but maybe for some other people it is not so exciting.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr nett und hat gerne Fragen beantwortet.
Man konnte direkt Tickets für das Slow boat nach Luang Prabang sowie den Transfer zum Pier buchen. Auch Frühstück und Mittagessen zum mitnehmen auf das Boot waren möglich.
Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super um direkt zum Slowboat zu kommen.
Das Zimmer war total dreckig. Überall waren Spinnenweben und die Ecken sahen aus, als hätten sie bereits seit Monaten keine Reinigung mehr gesehen. Das Badezimmer war wirklich unangenehm, verschimmelt und wir haben uns nur mit Flipflops im Zimmer und Bad bewegt.

The family hosting this place was really kind and helpful. The location is perfect to take the slow boat. You can buy the slow boat tickets directly to them, they organized a pick up for you and prepare lunch for the trip (this is not included in the price but is an amazing help for sure)

Lovely place to stay before taking the slow boat to Luang Prabang. Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff and we had a great breakfast and ordered food to take away for the boat trip. We ate across the road at The Gekko restaurant and it was incredible. We bought our slow boat tickets from the hotel and there was a minivan to take us to the pier.

Staff- The lady who runs the place is very nice, has good English and was able to help us with booking the slowboat for the next day. She can prepare a sandwich for you for the slowboat too for a cheap price.
