We had a great time and loved the area! We are typically Mission Beach vacationeers but we may have found another option! We biked, walked, played on the beach and enjoyed the ocean air - was a bit chilly for us coming from Phoenix!

We thoroughly loved our stay at the Windy Gables property. It's an older home with lots of history but remodeled beautifully. We loved the location and our closeness to the beach! We loved how the owner had bikes, sand toys, kites, and other beach accessories available in the garage. The garage space is limited so only a smaller, shorter vehicle will be able to fit, but we were able to park 2 cars along the driveway of the house. The owner was very responsive when I asked questions about certain amenities available. We would definitely love to stay at this property again.

House was nice size for our family. House needs to be cleaned better. Close to shops and restaurants. Noticed water damage on ceiling in living room.

Our family of 5 enjoyed this cute house on the beach. The location is excellent, walking distance to the harbor restaurants and activities and directly on the sand. There are lots of spaces for everyone to sleep and space to spread out and enjoy. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Great location, very close to the beach Plenty of towels Lots of spaces to sit and relax Falling asleep to the ocean waves was amazing! Showers are large Cons: The home really needs a detailed deep clean, including the furniture Sliding screens were difficult to open and close, due to the sand not being cleaned out We were unable to get some of the TV’s to work, even with instructions provided Overall, we had a great time at the beach and at this house. It was cloudy when we went, but we still managed to have fun. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. You need water shoes at this beach, the rocks are painful without them. Bring your own beach towels. There are no coffee filters provided, so don’t forget to pick some up. The beds are really comfortable and my daughter loved the little tiny bedroom with a small bathroom all to herself.

We stayed at Windy Gables with family and friends and it’s such a great place to stay. Right on the sand and in a perfect location to take advantage of everything the area has to offer. We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay! Comfortable and overall clean place. Sliding screen doors were hard to open because of all the sand in the tracks. Exterior needs a hosing off. Overall really liked the location and our stay was comfortable with 7 +50 year old men! Within 40 minutes of several great golf courses, which was the purpose of our trip! Would stay again!
