We had a fantastic time at the Squid Housef over new year. On arrival the house was dressed for the festive period. It was a nice touch - if not a bit surreal - seeing a Santa riding a dolphin tree bobble whilst it was 24 degrees outside! The welcome basket on arrival was one of the best we’ve ever had - a great selection of wine and fizz. The villa itself was even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed. The master bedroom is huge and it has its own separate door out into the garden. The pool area was great and our kids absolutely loved it. The outside shower was a nice touch as we could rinse them off after playing in the pool. There was a great selection of pool and garden toys. The outdoor seating area was our favourite part of the villa. During the day it was a great place to relax and in the evening we enjoyed having drinks - watching the fireworks go off over Playa Blanca was one of the highlights of our trip. The kitchen was really well stocked and the fridge and freezer had tons of space. We didn’t cook much however everything needed was there if we’d wanted to. The location was brilliant also. Exiting the garden gate meant it was around a 5 minute walk to the hiperdino supermarket area (turning left) or the port end of the front (turning right). We hired a car but in reality only used it to transport large bottles of water - it wasn’t needed. Therese was a fantastic host and we’d throughly recommend a stay at the Squid House!

A fabulous villa with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. Lots of room for our family group and facilities are excellent. The location is perfect with 5 to 10 mins walk to most shops, bars and restaurants. Great communication with Therese and we received a lovely gift pack on arrival. Thanks for everything

The squid house is in an excellent location for walking to restaurants, the beach & harbour. The house is comfortable and well equipped and We enjoyed our stay. The pool was warm and the children loved it.

Our 1st time staying at The Squid House july 2023 and what a great villa, indoor layout spacious with a good amenities and flow out to the outdoor terrace, garden, pool area. Location fantastic with the town, promenade, beach, shopping, supermarkets, restaurants, virtually on your doorstep. Bus station within 100yrds servicing all your trips further afield, as an example 5 adults 2 children 17euro return puerto del carman. 30 min journey. Taxi from rubicon marina to villa 4 euros. Lots of options all round. We will be back..

We stayed at Squid House as a party of 4 adults and 2 young children. The house is wonderful, very well equipped and in a great location. Therese was excellent as a host and provided us with lots of very useful information prior to our arrival. We had a couple of issues when we got there which Therese resolved as soon as she was able. I would definitely stay again.

It was the perfect Villa for our group family holiday. The quality of the house is excellent such as the new kitchen refurb and en-suite bathrooms. We loved that there were cold refreshments and household amenities all available, a drinks cabinet and a little outdoor bar that was just added before we arrived. Heated pool was great for the little one and it was cleaned twice during our stay. Beach toys and towels also a big plus! It can get a bit warm in the communal spaces in the house but we didn’t mind relaxing outside in the seating area with the blankets provided. Great location!

Everything was exactly as promised, more so in the sense that the villa is so well equipped - plenty of pots and pans and well stocked cupboards in the Kitchen, TV with UK channels, Netflix etc, and lots of outdoor space to sit and enjoy lunch in the sunshine. All in all, a perfect mid winter break.

Therese is a wonderful host, she was easily contactable and always replied immediately. The villa is very large with lots of personal touches, including christmas trees, a gift bag and very well stocked drinks cabinet and complimentary toiletries. The beds were super comfy, beautiful gardens and pool. The location is great, approx 7 minutes stroll to the sea front and harbour. An abundance of restaurants and bars, the ferry trip to Corralejo and trip up Mount Timanfaya a must. Rancho Texas is a fab zoo to visit for the kids. We went for christmas and the temperature was around 25 degrees every day. I would absolutely recommend this villa. 10/10.

We were six people between 16 and 54 who stayed in The Squid House 31/10 - 7/11 2022. Everything was incredibly good! Location, house, garden, contact with owner. We will definitely be back!

Villa is beautifully equipped and full of character. Location is great for the whole Playa Blanca area, central from bus station & main front but also central for Playa Flamingo and Rubicon. Best suited to families and big groups as area can be a little noisy for retirees like us :-)

We had a fabulous holiday as an extended family group -the space and location were perfect- 5/19 mins to plenty of bars restaurants and the seafront. The private pool and gardens were delightful, the large master bedroom perfect for a family of three, the second bedroom great for a couple and the other two perfect for sharing. Tue owner was helpful responsive and the Lanzarote manager the same. We would definitely return!

This was our second stay, with the previous one being in 2019 before the craziness of covid. On arrival it was exactly how we remembered it, with the great addition of a pool table to keep the kids and bigger kids (adults) happy. The villa is clean throughout and has everything you need. Location wise, it was already a 10-15 minutes from everywhere but there is an added bonus with the new through road at the back of the villa which means you are now literally less than 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket and 10 minutes from the town centre or the opposite end where the ferry port is. It is also now only a 15 minute walk to the Aqualava water park. The pool is well kept and the kids loved it in there. The outdoor speakers are also great for during the day by the pool and night when relaxing in the garden of a night. I cannot rate the villa highly enough and would love to return again one day. Thanks to Therese for letting us stay at your beautiful villa.

The host was amazing, very easy to check in and out, very easy to contact and made sure our stay was the best she could. Will be returning next year for sure.

Such a fab space. You never feel ontop of eachother . The boys absolutely loved it absolutely didn't want to come home. I loved how quiet it was . And the outside seating area was just a dream. The owner was wonderful . I want to go back immediately!!😫

This really is a home from home with a fantastic location. It has everything you need from washing machine, dishwasher and all many of cooking utensils. The pool was lovely, my kids loved being in ot daily and the outdoor space was amazing. It had everything you would need and was spotlessly clean. A great week had and won't he our last time visiting.

We enjoyed a great week in Playa Blanca amidst the backdrop of COVID restrictions. The villa is a fantastic place to stay with great facilities and really helpful communication from the owner. We would highly recommend for large groups looking for easy access to Playa Blanca!

Loved Squid House the layout of the property is great. We travelled as 2 couples and a single adult so having a bathroom each was great. Spent a lot of time on the lovely terrace where there is enough seating for everyone - as there is in the lounge. Nice 5 to 10 minute easy walk into town so no need to have a car. Would definitely go back to this villa and highly recommend it.

Superb Villa in a good location near the centre of Playa Blanca Lanzarote. We had a lovely holiday made even better by the very good weather. We highly recommend this Villa and would stay there again.

Oh wow, this villa is absolutely perfect - tons of outside space, seating areas, comfy beds, just lovely! As a family, we had such a relaxing and comfortable stay. Walking distance to shops, bars, restaurants & beach. Therese is a wonderful host, she could not be more accommodating. We all wished we could stay longer & would have no hesitation in rebooking.

Huge amount of space. The layout is superb and almost everything you could possibly need is available. Maybe a measuring jug and weighing scales?

Villa is in a great place for a family. Easy walking distance to the main areas and shops. Nothing is too much trouble for Therese as she has been very helpful before and during our stay.

Arrival and entering the villa went to plan thanks to Therese's detailed instructions sent prior to arrival. The villa is wonderful, everything you need from the well equipped kitchen to the fab music system which was great whilst lazing around the pool. It is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest supermarket & 10 minutes walk to sea front with all the various restaurants, shops....etc. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again - thank you Therese for letting us stay at your villa.

Been twice to squid house great house

Such a lovely house - great location, fabulous outdoor garden/pool and the bathrooms are superb!

Villa is in a great location being only a short walk into playa Blanca centre The villa itself is large and well laid out with plenty of space for all the family Pool is large and very clean with plenty of sun lounges bbq and bar area are a bonus as is the shady Terrance where you can enjoy a cool beer while sitting on the ample furniture and outdoor sofas Ample kitchen with very handy washing machine and large fridge which was a boon The only gripe would be the poor electricity supply which soon became evident when we switched on the aircon units these tripped very easily It was also impossible to have more than 2 appliances on at the same time otherwise everything tripped It certainly didn't spoil our stay at the villa but it was something we had to deal with everyday I spoke with the owner regarding the situation and was told some upgrading was or had been done to the electric supply recently so probably a temporary blip but apart from that we would certainly love to book this villa again Many thanks

We had a fantastic Holiday at The Squid House! It is in a fantastic location, which was only a 10 minute walk into the centre of town for our 2-year old. There is so much space around the Villa that if you do need a time out (for whatever reason) you can take yourself off for some quiet time. Although the pool isn't as big as most others in the area, it had more than enough space for us (4 x Adults & 1 x Toddler, plus inflatables). For a family, it really does have it all as well... Large Cot, Travel Cot, Highchair, Bed Guard, small Buggy, etc. It was an added benefit to also be provided with Tea, Hand, Bath and Pool Towels! Finally, Therese was fantastic to deal with from start to finish!
