Amazing views and super nice garden and hotel in general

The beds were super hard

Beautiful Rooms. We had originally had rooms reserved in the cottages, but they showed and offered us rooms on the 3rd floor of the hotel and gave us a choice. We chose the hotel - great views from the balcony. Our last day the weather cleared and we had unbelieveable views of the Himalayas and were served breakfast out side overlooking the beautiful view. Food service staff went over and above to make our stay great.

Going in March made it if questionable on weather for viewing the mountains. We were there 3 days, but only could see the Himalayas on 1 day.

The room was great, however the resort along with others in the area is renowned for the view of the mountains. Unfortunately due to pollution it is rare to get a clear sky. We got a hazy view and were told by staff we were lucky. Very sad! If you are going one night is enough

The personal was helpful and kind. Scenery was beautiful. Dishes were delicious. Room was comfortable. Outside of the hotel was close to Nature walking.

Everything. Highlight of our stay in Nepal. Wonderful hotel reminiscent of a Swiss mountain chalet. Spectacular views of the Himalayas. Great rooms. Amazing staff.

Nagarkot wont win any awards for its roads!

Great location, room, food and service. The food was particularly good, possibly the best Dal Bhat we had in Nepal. We also received a room upgrade as we were staying out of season and there were only a few guests in the hotel.

The views of the Himalayas are unparalleled! The staff were absolutely wonderful. They were extremely attentive, and nothing was ever an issue! The highlight was the sunrise and the staff members mingling with the guests, pointing out the various mountains in the range. Cannot speak highly enough of the Fort Resort. A truly magnificent experience from start to finish.

Everything! The location, the ambience, the vintage look, the architecture is like you are in Durbar square, the gardens, delicious meals, importantly the friendly and caring staff and the stunnning Himalayan Views

Everything about The Fort Resort is beautiful, that too in the most literal way. Right from the location, to the aesthetic and definitely the breathtaking views. The well mannered and incredibly kind staff are receptive to all your needs and are always ready to help you in any position manner. Although a premium option, it’s highly recommended that you spend atleast a night here and absolutely get up early to view the gorgeous sunrise. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of Mt Everest. PS room 308 is the best room.

the menu is limited, the bar is one brand of beer and the reception, restaurant, bar etc is very cold

Super big room, very comfortable, Wonderful views from the terrace outside. A lovely garden to sit and wander in. The sunrise views from the roof terrace were superb, and I'm so glad I took the time to come to Nagarkot to see this. The staff were most attentive, and helpful when I needed a car to take me back to Kathmandu. Meals were very good, excellent momos and one of the best dal bhat I've eaten.

Amazing and peaceful setting with incredibly friendly and accommodating staff. the food was also very good. The view from the Himalayas on a clear day is extremely special!

the room was not up to the rest of the hotel. i would rate it a 4/10. it wasn’t clean (bed sheets), the bathroom was run down and my room was right above the reception and the entrance so rather loud
