The place was big enough to accommodate 2 families. The location was excellent to explore the lakes.

Nothing to dislike

Lovely accommodation and in a great place to get to wherever we wanted. The grandchildren loved the garden and there was plenty of room for us all.

We weren't expecting to have to buy extra toilet rolls and hand wash. Every place we've stayed in the lakes, and we come here at least three times a year, provided enough toilet rolls for the amount of occupants.

2nd time stay so we found it fine, all as expected. Good parking too and close to the centre of Ambleside

Comfy cosy, good location. Ideal for 8 people Plenty of cutlery etc. Front room and kitchen ideal. Didn't get to use the garden but a bonus to have in good weather

The description. As booking.com doesn't mention not ideal for people with mobility issues. I had my 89 year of mum with me but we couldn't leave her as steps everywhere in house. When stripping the beds I noticed the duvets could do with new ones

Could not find the location - missed it 3 times!!

Good location ie quiet and within walking distance from centre and facilities. Large comfortable lounge. Large well equipped kitchen. Ample parking

Key wouldn’t unlock door from inside. We called out the service team who immediately replaced the key. No info on egress through rear door. Key was actually available but not visible. Again service team provided this info over the phone

A lovely cottage. The setting is nothing special but the location is excellent. The house was well equipped and very warm and comfortable.

No particular issues.

House was very clean and well equipped. Central location. Couldn’t fault it.
