The hotel has charm, staff are lovely, rooms comfortable, and the breakfast is really great!

Staff welcoming, food very nice
The signage is hidden, you pass the hotel becuase the signage that you have reached the hotel is hidden. We could see signs leading to the hotel but when you reach the hotel the signage is by the wall which makes it difficult to see, especially because it was in the night.

The garden, swimming pool and courtyard is beautiful.
The breakfast service was extremely poor with only 1 waiter. No robes in rooms. Towels were removed with cleaning and never replaced. Doors didn’t work properly. Worn and stained linen with tears in. No attention to detail. Unfriendly staff who minds providing 5 star service never mind walking the extra mile.

The bathroom, the shower looked like it had mould in it. We did not use it.
On the pictures it looks like an old building but I’m not sure it actually is. Maybe did not feel completely genuine.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful rooms. The beds are very comfortable. Rosebank is a great location. WiFi was great. Some staff were very helpful and friendly
Upon arrival there was a very loud beeping sound outside our room. We phoned 5 times! No response. Sound didn't stop. Terrible being ignored 5 times!
Upon arrival there was no coffee in the room. Staff said they would bring. Nothing. Phoned the next morning. Nothing. They brought coffee 5 minutes before we had to leave for work.
Shower was leaking.
Old masking tape left on bathroom windows after last paint job.
No robes as per room info.
Rooms are most definitely not sound proof.
We asked for a fire to be lit in the fire pit. Staff member shrugged and said the wood got wet. We make our own plan with the help of the security

All the waiters were attending to an Indian function and as the hotel guests, we were left with no one to help us.

The premises was well maintained with a working back-up power system. The room was very clean. The Pool was a plus for the kids and we able to enjoy the facilities. Halal restaurant is a major plus.
Breakfast buffet tables could do with "shoo-away fly" fans. We ordered from the kitchen instead. There wasn't much more to not like, we definitely will be coming again.

The breakfast is a total rip off, for that price. It was not prepared properly, undercooked and quality of the beef was very poor. We also found a human hair in the egg.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The whole hotel was amazing and it looked exactly like the pictures. We had some food at the restaurant and it was delicious (even though the portions were a little small).
The Hubbly was terrible. They need better Hubbly etiquette for people who like to order it. Also it was a little bit pricey at R300 especially when it wasn't prepared well.

The hotel is nice and clean, the fire outside was so cozy and nice to see on arrival.
Breakfast leaves much to be required. The xoices are not great and the buffet was not very appealing or fresh-looking

Beautiful courtyard
. .The breakfast was disappointing.. For a 5 star hotel we were expecting a nice displayed buffet and we've been to many 5 star hotels
Also the menu had pancakes yet it was not available. The we asked for muffins where we had to wait a considerable amount of time to get ready.. Pancakes could have been quicker lol
