The typical camping feeling, the grass where the kids could play (including a football cage) and the very friendly and helpful camping owner. He advised us to drive a very nice high alpine route, which was really breathtakingly beautiful

Some updates must be planned for the cottages in the nearby future to keep them in technical good condition

Great stay, the host was so friendly and welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay. Like most of the cabins in Norway, bedding and towels aren't included as I guess most locals bring their own. However for a small fee I was able to rent sheets and towels and secure the coins needed to operate the shower. There are also communal cooking utensils in the kitchen if you need to borrow anything, but for me the items in my cabin were enough for my needs. My little cabin was super cozy and we felt perfectly safe. Heads up, there is only one Coop store nearby so make sure to arrive before they close at 8 pm!

Owner was very nice. I did not had any cash only card and he gave me 10 nok to take a shower. We had a super pleasant conversation. Everything was great.

Efficient check in and check out. We have arrived late and departed really. The cabins were ready for us.

We stayed in a brand new cabin for two persons. There are in total 5(?) cabins. Beautiful mountain view from all of them. They all have a front porch with barbecue. All you need is inside the cabin, except for water. Clean nice and large restrooms and shower. When you arrive, check the door to the cabins for a post-it note with your name on it.

The staff seems to be super welcoming and responsive. The location might not have the most impressive sights in comparison with other nearby locations but all the necessities were nearby. Also a great spot if you're into fishing and love peace and quiet. At first the cabin's seemed small, but they are more spacious than they look.

The only minor issue might be the door hinges. During daytime you couldn't notice them, but in night they were squeaking quite loudly. Nothing a good, ol' WD-40 couldn't fix! :D
