Hotel, food and location.
The receptionist, the one with red hair, I think her name is Sienna? I’ve always paid for the room on my check out with my expenses from the bar and restaurant on top of the room rates! I said to this woman that I would have my dinner and after shower I would sort out all of the payments! We went upstairs after dinner, I had a shower and past out because I work night shifts sometimes as I’m a doctor! That woman started to call the room after 10pm insistently and waking us up saying that I HAD to sort out the payment asap. I’ve asked to do it in the morning on my check out but she wasn’t satisfied and kept calling and calling the room! So I gave her my card details over the phone and guess what?! She was thick enough to not read the numbers properly from my room and she was calling the room AGAIN and AGAIN and asked me to my daughter to go downstairs and make the payment so my daughter did! She’s went downstairs and? VOILA!! Payment done ☑️ I had the worst experience ever this time!!! 72 hours non sleeping and when I finally fall asleep I was disturbed/ harassed by that receptionist!
I will never stay at the Hilton at the Birmingham Airport again!!!!

Weren't made aware bedding is Feathers and both my sister and I are allergic. Restaurant staff not so good. Meals overpriced. Meal missing several items.

The staff were polite friendly and had a smile on their faces this means a lot has I am getting over a mental breakdown. But from reception to the bar staff and restaurant. I felt very welcome

Spacious room, nice sized bathroom. Lovely and quiet in the evening. Really friendly and helpful staff.
Shower was difficult to get in/out of (I have mobility issues and this was a bit awkward for me)

It was just across the rd from departures from the airport. You couldn’t hear any noise from planes or traffic going past.

The location is great, 2 mins walk to departures at BHX. Given we had check-in at 4am it was very conveniently located for us to stay and whilst still an early start, an additional hour in bed!
The beds were very firm. I'm used to a Tempur mattress and found the bed fairly uncomfortable. Pillows were great though!

Air con in the room. The noise cancellation was excellent, we couldn't hear the airport at all while in the room. Also the blackout curtains were a nice surprise to keep out the lights from the airport hitting us too early in the morning. My friend who was staying in the room with me also really liked the shower, fridge in the room and the amount of space for hanging up their clothes.

Location can’t be beaten and great staff
Reception unable to issue key cards due to a system fault which was inconvenience for both guests and staff. A group of guests were gathered together and taken to our rooms on check in. We also had to have reception staff to take us up to our room after dinner. We thought this was why everyone was put on the fourth floor and we were given an accessible room. We didn’t mention it as staff had enough to deal with and were extremely apologetic and professional.

Keys for all hotel not working so had to get member of staff to escort you to your room every time

It is walking distance with luggage to the airport. Beds are comfortable, windows soundproof, showers excellent!

Room chosen had great views of runway, which was adored by my child with Autism. Room was quiet considering close proximity. Beds comfortable.
A couple of plug sockets were temperamental, USB sockets besides bed also weren’t always working. The lights were odd, couldn’t just have bedside lights on without main lights. My daughter with autism requires a light on for sleep but figured something out eventually. Bathroom door was very stiff, daughter got stuck in there.
