Wow! What can we add that already hasn't been said? Wonderful apartment with great facilities and ever-changing views over the bay - plus an indoor pool to swim in every day whatever the weather!

What can I say that the 150+ five stars reviews already on here don’t already say?! The place is super and it does not disappoint even with these great reviews and raised expectation. The pool is also bigger than we thought it was going to be. We hardly left the gaff!! Can’t wait to rebook!!

What a wonderful property. In a fantastic location with stunning views over Torquay. Everything you need for a chilled vacation. Pool and hot tub wonderful John and Karen were the perfect hosts. So welcoming and helpful. Totally recommend going.

Very relaxing week

What a fantastic place. We couldn't get enough of the picturesque views from the patio. Everything you could want and more. Already booked for next year.

WOW…as was expected. This property is amazing. If you book this you won’t be disappointed at all. It is a drive from the hub of the town but this suited us. It was peaceful and had everything we needed all in one place. The only downside is we had to leave. Would definitely recommend this property to a couple who wanted total relaxation.

The pictures really do not do this place justice. It is absolutely stunning. Amazing views and fabulous facilities. As a family of four. Two adults and two 13 year olds, we all loved the pool and hot tub. The walk to the harbour was pleasent and taxis back were a good price. The owners were so friendly. 5*

With a long journey ahead we wanted a luxury place to stay and the Vu apartment did not disappoint. From the view over the harbour and the sea, to the lounge to the pool and hot tub it was just perfect. Great after a day out to go for a swim then into the hot tub. Lovely and relaxing. We have now stayed in this property for 4 consecutive years and it never disappoints. Normally we have gone somewhere new each year but we are afraid to change venue as we don’t want to be disappointed!! We had a medical issue this year and owner was very supportive - thank you so much for everything

This has to be one of the best places to stay in Britain it has the best views ever. The location is great and close to the seafront. Sitting outside most nights until midnight admiring the views and the lights.

Perfect place to stay. Comfortable, modern and everything you would want for a wonderful holiday.

We had the perfect weather while visiting so the views and garden were amazing. The lounge and swimming pool were also fantastic. Sadly a few things let it down. Kitchen utensils are very poor and the scissors are blunt. A couple glass pint glasses for 4 people is ridiculous, you should have more than you need unless you're happy to wash up every evening. Dust on top of tvs and table lamps etc was bad. The’ve taken away all leaflets of things to do because of covid, I think they should provide this again by now. One thing that surprised us is that there was no welcome park with local goodies in to showcase what the county has to offer, we’ve stayed in bigger places and smaller places and this has been the only place not to provide this which was very disappointing considering this is a “luxury accommodation”.

One word - perfect! Everything about this apartment is perfect: location, amenities, beds, rain shower, hydrotherapy bath, view, hot tub, pool…the list goes on! The apartment has everything you would need during your time there, and if it doesn’t have it have that’s because you probably don’t need it - all jokes aside, it has everything you would need during your time there. We have been looking forward to this break for a long time and it really didn’t disappoint. There were times we completely forgot we were in a UK rental, as you could easily mistake the view from the hot tub as the south of France or a Spanish island. We have already booked to stay again in 2024. You will not be disappointed if you book Th Vu - there is a reason it is reviewed so highly!

We had a wonderful stay. It was such an amazing place. The property was clean and had everything we needed. I love pilates so enjoyed doing my pilates in an place with amazing views. The swimming pool was well used, i did my exercise, friends enjoyed it for fun. My most favourate thing was watching the sun rise and set in the most beautiful locations. Thank you for all the good memories made. Would love to come again. The hosts were lovely. Thank you

This place was amazing! Photos didn’t even do justice to how big the outdoor area was or good the view was. Living area has huge modern sofas and high tech charging table/speaker system area. Nespresso coffee machine in the kitchen. Everything you could want and need for a weekend away.

This was our second stay at this stunning apartment and it was just as good second time around! We even had some sun this time which made it even better! Cant wait to go back!

Having read previous reviews we knew we were getting something special, just how special you can't put in to words. The property is amazing from the garden, to the hot tub to the pool, the kitchen is very well equipped and and the bathroom - I could spend a day in there between the bath and the shower. The beds were exceptionally comfortable - so much thought has been put in to providing guests with an exceptional experience and Karen and John have nailed it. There are plenty of places to go but you could also just chill in the premises and still have a great holiday. We visited Brixham was a lovely fishing port, well worth a trip. You will most definitely not be disappointed if you were to book this accommodation, we sent pictures/videos to family and they are already looking for availability. We didn't see Karen or John during our visit but that is testament to how well they prepare everything [and I mean everything] for their guests.

This was our second stay at the property and we yet again had a wonderful time. The apartment is perfect and the views are to die for. Everything about our stay was marvellous and we even had a fair bit of sun too. Thanks very much.

We enjoyed our stay

The property was stunning, views were magnificent, Plenty of space but a small kitchen, we used the pool in the morning and hot tub in evening. Beautiful bedrooms, if there was 1 more it would be good as there is seating and space for 6. Would definitely recommend it. We walked everywhere even though its up hill, not far to Theatre or Cockington,

Stayed here for a week as part of special Birthday celebrations, absolutely stunning, from the pictures we expected it to be good however walking into the property increases the feel good factor. Amazing sitting in the living room looking out into the Pool Room. Every room clean and well decorated and equipped Great location so close to everything, taxis very reasonable to get into Torquay. A holiday that will hold many happy memories

We had a lovely stay at The Vu. Sadly the weather wasn't the best when we were there, so we were very grateful that we had the indoor pool. The apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. The only feedback we felt we wanted to give was that there were no instructions for the use of any of the equipment, which we've always had at other places. This type of information is very helpful.

An amazing experience and the owner are so helpful and kind. We would definitely recommend and hope to go back soon.

Wow! This apartment exceeded all expectations! We booked this apartment for a little bit of luxury given it was our first break away since the start of the Covid pandemic, and luxury is definitely what we got! From the amazing pool (which our 9 year old son lived in every spare minute!) to the stunning views of Torquay harbour by day and night, and just the lovely homely relaxing feel of the whole apartment, we had to drag ourselves away each day to do the other activities we had planned in the area. The apartment is in a great location within a short drive of both Torquay and Paignton, so beaches, boat trips, caves, restaurants, takeaways etc, all in easy reach. We would definitely like to return!
