We stayed for 2 nights and everything was fantastic! Kelly and Chaz were excellent hosts, very friendly and accommodating. Excellent location right near the beach and town centre, the breakfast basket was also superb served promptly at the time we requested. Room was spotlessly clean and great value for money. Would definitely recommend Bella Vista for a perfect little getaway

There is nothing we didn't like our only concern would be that parking might be a little tricky if busy and bad weather as it's mostly grass, and the surround streets after 1st May are 4 hours max. This however did not affect our stay and should not deter from staying at this wonderful place!

The friendliness of the owners meeting us when we got there and saying good by when we left, I've been to many hotels and haven't had that reception will definitely be going back

We had a lovely clean room. Always had milk ,teabags and coffee supplied. Small fridge to keep your food chilled. Towels supplied . Room smelt very fresh . Room had everything that you needed. The location was brilliant only 2 minutes walk to the beach and Town .

We can honestly say that we couldn’t fault anything at Bella Vista . Wish we could have stayed longer.

The owners Kelly and Chaz were a lovely couple, nothing was to much for them ,place was like home from home ,so friendly ,helpful definitely be booking here again ,they gave us some good tips where to go for entertainment and food x definitely recommend it to anyone xxx no breakfast but our choice we think we missed out haha😅maybe next time 👍I was so happy to see the fan and the fridge in the room 😅couldnt fault anything even parking well thought out and liked the way it was all set out place homely and pretty 👍🤗😘

I booked a room at Bella Vista as a spur of the moment decision for a base on a solo holiday and I wasn't disappointed. The guesthouse is in a great location, just a few minutes from the beach and shops as well as the harbour, bus and train stations, so it's great if you want to fit a lot into your time away. The room only basis for booking was ideal if you want freedom to come and go as you please and don't want to be tied down to set breakfast times. The room was spacious and clean with good facilities. Kelly and Chaz are a lovely couple and always willing to help when they can, as well as showing an interest in their guests and making sure they have everything they need for their stay.

I can't really think of anything that I didn't like. The only thing that was maybe a little inconvenient was the private bathroom for the Superior Single room being a little way along the corridor. It was clean and functional but maybe not ideal if you have to get up in the night to use the toilet for any reason as the extractor in the bathroom could be a little noisy and may wake other guests up.

Nice and simple and clean great location for anyone who is visiting.

There was nothing we disliked. I mentioned my pillow was not to my liking and another was put in our room.

The hosts are very friendly and helpful as has been said on the other reviews. The room is slightly larger than the 2 square meters stated but not by much. The room temperature was comfortable without needing the heater or the fan both of which are provided. Comfortable temperature to me is between 21'C and 23'C so I'm guessing it was within that range. The windows are double glazed upvc which when closed effectivley shut out the seagull chorus which is nice to be able to do. The room contains a bed ( a ridiculously comfortable bed ) , a wicker type chair, a small flat screen tv on the wall, a hanger rail with approx 6 hangers, a huge mirror, a chest of drawers on which the kettle sits, a bin and as previously mentioned a heater and a fan. A bath robe / dressing gown is also provided which is perfect to put on when you need to go to the loo 3 doors down the hall in the middle of the night. You are unlikely to bump into anyone else in the night as the other rooms on the first floor are all en suite. The Wifi has to get a mention, it was consistantly fast with figures in excess of 70Mbps download and 20Mbps upload. You can eat as cheaply or as expensively as you like, with Lidl , Poundland and Wetherspoon on your doorstep or you can take the short walk to the Harbour and visit Harbour Light for a £17 Mackrel Salad.

The "Private Bathroom" is 3 doors down the hall and accessable with the same key as the room. It's an inconvenience, okay for a few nights but if you are staying for longer you may want to consider one of the rooms with en suite. This would cost you an extra 50 - 60% per night though so it really depends on what price you place on convenience.
