We were a family of 10, six adults and four kids (ages 14-9). The house was very clean and the owner was there when we arrived. The owners checked with us via text to insure that everything was fine. Pool and hot tub were well maintained as was the landscaping. We rented a 24 foot boat for the week and had no issues even at low tide with the water depth at the dock. The kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances worked. AC unit kept the house comfortable in every room. The only negative thing are the no-see-umms…but you’re in the Keys and there’s no getting away from them😏 We’d definitely rent again!

What an amazing time we had staying in Marathon at this home. The home was just as advertised. It was beautiful and well kept. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in the home was in great working order. The pool was beautiful and well taken care of. We opted to have the pool heated and it was the best part of the trip for our children. The dock was in great shape, and we enjoyed spending time there, even though we chose not to rent a boat. The views from the top deck were unmatched and the home is literally a 2-minute drive to Sombrero Beach which was absolutely great. The homeowner was wonderful. He was in contact regularly to make things were going well and he was very attentive and prompt to any little issue we had. This place is a dream, and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a great get away in the Florida Keys! We will definitely be back!

Spacious multi-level home, with 4 large bedrooms, each with it’s own en suite, and one of which is a mother-in-law efficiency. The kitchen was well equipped for the nights we cooked dinner. There is also a grill downstairs by the pool. The home is surrounded by mature landscaping giving the property a lush, tropical feel. The hermit crabs, land crabs and iguana’s, made for fun nature watching walks around the island. The draw of coming to the Key’s for us is to fish, lobster, boat and relax. The jacuzzi and pool were nice to relax in at night, after a long day of boating. We had fun playing on the pool table on a rainy day. The canal behind the house is shallow at low tide, which Elias told us about before we arrived. He advised us to bring the 26ft boat, versus the 36ft boat, which was much appreciated. In addition, the driveway can be tricky backing in a trailer because it is framed with large rocks. Please note the home does have lots of stairs and no elevator. Stairs were fine for us, but may present an issue for people with limited mobility. The rooftop deck provides a beautiful bird’s-eye view at sunrise, and sunset. It is also perfect for star gazing. The home is not new, but suited our needs. We had a wonderful family vacation, and I would recommend this home to other travelers. Elias and his wife Marie are a phone call away should you need anything.

I am so glad that we booked this property for our Spring family vacation! The house is gorgeous & very spacious- perfect for a large family or couples. Every room of this home was very clean, well kept and stocked with essentials. The location alone provides an array of fun-filled vacation options: we rented a boat and kept it right at the dock, paddled the kayaks around the canal and walked to Sombreo Beach. The pool is refreshing after a day on the boat or beach (we had it heated & temp was great). The views are spectacular from each balcony and observation deck. We also enjoyed the pool table with a family competition. Elias is very responsive and cares about his guests. I would highly recommend Elias & Marie's rental properties & we will be staying again.

Had a great week at the house. Perfect location for Marathon and all the amenities for anything you’d like to do. Only downside is the layout is not ultimately that kid friendly. If we go back to marathon I would definitely stay there again.

We have been spending February in the keys for many years now. I have to say this was one of our very best experiences. The house was impeccably clean., well furnished and equipped. The location is great. Sombrero Beach is a walkable distance away (about .5miles) and the grocery shopping is a short drive. The view from the roof deck was spectacular and my 5 year granddaughter and I would go up there at night to count the stars. We paid to heat the pool and it was extremely comfortable (90-95F). I already miss my Keys sauna i.e., going from the 100F hot tub into the 95F pool. Elias is very responsive to any request or issue and if he doesn't answer immediately calls back in 10 minutes or less. To summarize: good house, great location and fantastic owner. We will definitely rent this property again!

The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable, plenty of pans, appliances and dishes. Plenty of towels, chairs and pool chairs. We paid for pool heat and the pool was like bath water! Owner responded immediately with any questions we had.. we felt safe and location was great. Overall a great experience and we would stay here again!

Overall a very very nice property to rent. The owner was always available and friendly. The house came with a really nice supply of toiletries and towels. I would recommend this house anybody who wants to stay in Marathon in. Lastly, he did not have an abundance of rules to follow.

Elias was extremely accommodating! Allowed for early check in and late check out! All communication was timely and accurate! This was a planned family trip to a spot our brother visited often, sadley he passed this year. This trip meant a lot to us and it was everything we wanted and then some. Thank you Elias we truly appreciate everything! The spa nearby was great! The jet skis and sunset sail was special at A-Affordable Jet-Ski rentals Wakeszone. Went to Isla Bella Resort Spa- Wonderful Massage! They have a couple great restaurants on the beach. You can go there even if you are not staying at the resort! Beautiful! Went to Florida Keys Steak and Lobster- great meal and service! Thank you again! Enjoyment with Family and Friends in a great house- Everything else is just a bonus!!!!

We had a phenomenal vacation at this beautiful house on Tingler Island!! Because of COVID, we needed to have a place that would keep our large family occupied with activities, yet still secluded from the touristy, bustling parts of the Keys. This house hit the mark on all fronts. The residence was very private and quiet, away from any traffic. Several permanent resident neighbors around this house meant that every evening was peaceful and entirely relaxing. Even with all the serenity, we were only a 2-5 minute drive to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants and Highway 1. It had a magnificent, heated pool that felt wonderful, even on a cooler day. The kids spent hours a day in there, using numerous pool toys that were provided. With the private dock and supplied kayaks, we were free to explore the canals and Sombrero Beach from a beautiful vantage point. Inside, the house had more than enough room for the seven of us to sprawl out. The kitchen had all new appliances, with all the expected supplies, and many more unexpected cookware and amenities. The pool table was a great way for everyone to congregate together after a day in the sun. The numerous outdoor patios all around the house provided spectacular 360° views; perfect for sunrises and sunsets, and the perfect amount of shelter from a cool breeze or direct sun, depending on the time of day. The covered patio on the third floor had a couch comfortable enough to sleep on! The sounds of palms swaying in the wind, made for a perfect afternoon nap location. We loved taking a dip in the hot tub at night, and retreated to the bedrooms, which have the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. So much so, we’re going to purchase the same mattress brand at home. This vacation was everything we had hoped for, and then some. We can’t wait to return!

I must say the location of the house is perfect, close to beaches, shopping, restaurants and the 7 mile bridge.The house is definetly not displayed on line as we found it.The house is very worn and dated with many of the amenities descrided not working.The exterior is way overdue for a paint job and I was kind of embarrased to stay there since the neighbors properties were well maintained.The furnitiure is very worn and mismatched like it came from a second hand store and the linens do not even fit the beds.The beds ALL were awful and the linens were worn and did not fit, I could not wait to return home to get a good night sleep.The pool itself was great, clean, heated and in good shape.There were no pool maintance tools such as a brush or a skimmer net.The pool area had some old worn out plastic furniture with no umbrellas so make sure you load up on the sun screen.The hot tub worked but leaked and make sure you put the cinder blocks on the broken cover so it does not blow off.There was a grill by the pool with no tank and so rusted I would not take a chance cooking on it.The grill on the upper balcony did work but worn and very dirty.The house had no simple staples such as paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, dish washer soap, hand soap, garbage bags and TOILET PAPER.I did speak to the owner after we arrived since he called and asked how the cleaners did.I told him we were disappointed that the house did not meet our expectatations and his response was its a rental.Marathon is a great area with lots of outdoor activities and beaches.There are other rentals in the area I recommend you explore them.

The owner is very easy and quick to respond. The house is clean and quite large and very private. Views of sunrise and sunset are wonderful. The age of the house does show somewhat but does not take away from having an enjoyable week. They pool is fairly large and the grandkids loved it. My husband and I used the hot tub and it was quite nice. The kitchen was stocked with all needed appliance and the laundry room was very much appreciated. If we decide to do another trip to Marathon we would stay in this house again.

This was a great place for two families of four, each with young adult children to have a vacation. It was clean, safe, as advertised and has everything you would ever need. The location is amazing. You can walk, kayak or drive to Sombrero beach, swim, relax, see wildlife, enjoy the hot tub, play pool or ping pong, etc. The house was plenty of room, we cooked all meals but one there and had everything we need. A bonus was having beach towels since we flew with limited luggage. The owner was super responsive when we had needs (very few) or just questions. He answered right away and desired to make this stay wonderful for us - which is was. Pro tip - I would use winn dixie. We used publix (instacart for first order and I will never do that again - one hour after the two hour time window and the shopper took up most of my arrival time texting me questions). We went with Publix as it has better brand recognition in our area, but the winn dixie was nicer, and WAY less crowded. Also, if you are coming from the Miami airport on a Saturday, there was ALOT of traffic, so plan for that. Going back to Miami at 930 am on saturday was fine. In short, this was a place (Marathon and this home) we would visit again. 100% Satisfied! Thanks to the owners.

All procedures were simple and easily understood. Owner was very cooperative, helpful, timely and friendly.

Our group of 10 including 4 kids had a wonderful stay in this property. The kids were in the pool multiple times per day and it was deep enough to keep even our teens happy. The kids fished in the canal and we saw all kinds of sea life including a sting ray. The water was a little choppy but we did use the house kayaks to go to Sombrero beach. We stayed at this house over the week of New Years which is an extremely busy time in the keys but the house is surrounded by mangroves and other trees and in a quiet neighborhood. A 3 hour flight delay lead to us arriving after dark and in the thick of backed up traffic along the highway- which I would not recommend because the house is located in a very private area and it is difficult to navigate for the first time in the dark. We prepared most of our meals at the house and if you look long enough you can find everything needed to cook for a larger group. The appliances are nice and worked great, including the grill. The house was clean when we arrived. The house is showing its age a bit with some cracked tiles on the stairs and the locks are a little stiff from the salt air. The beds and bedding were comfortable and in good shape. The pull-out couch is in a room that is accessed through one of the bedrooms (or from the deck) and had a kitchenette, which was a good layout for a family of 4 with younger kids. There were plenty of towels for 10 people showering, going to the beach and using the pool. Highly recommend Island Girl Charters for a family oriented fishing trip- the kids caught so many tasty fish we could not have eaten it all and sent some home with the guide.

We had a family vacation at this house and everyone had a great time. The house had everything we needed to be able to enjoy our vacation. The 3 kayaks were a lot of fun. We took them to Sombrero Beach and around Tingler island. The location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and activities. Highly recommend this house for a family vacation. FYI - This house does have a lot of stairs.

We vacationed with another family for a total of 9 people. This house easily accommodates and also allowed a few friends to visit as well. The house and grounds were clean and as pictured online. I would highly recommend and Vicki is awesome!
