Right in the middle of old town. 2 min walk to the supermarket, Marshalls, bars, restaurants. clean place. the courtyard is priceless. Highly recommend this place. will come back again!

This was my first time to Puerto Rico and I cannot think of a better place to stay than Luis’ property. The architecture, the art, the location and everything in between was lovely! When I come back to Puerto Rico in the future I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Perfect flavor of San Juan Viejo. Right in the middle of all the places you will want to see.

Wonderful location, nice ambience. Santos was helpful and a nice guy. The place has character and charm. Just know that it is open air, if you’re neighbors are listening to the radio so are you. Always quiet at night for sleeping.

Is the best part! We did miss an AC a bit and the mosquito netting around the bed took a bit of getting used to, but it was totally worth it for that amazing patio and the lovely indoor/outdoor feel! Wonderful location, and Luis was a pleasure to work with.

The apartment was posted correctly and our host, Luis, was wonderful and very knowledgeable about places to go and see. He was located on the premises which made it easier to ask questions.

This is my 2nd time staying with Luis. It’s in the perfect location between restaurants, the Fort, churches and yet it’s very quiet and peaceful. The kitchen had all the amenities to make quick meals and during our stay, the refrigerator broke. Once notified, he had it replaced quickly which was much appreciated since we came during a heat wave. I’d highly recommend it!

My partner and I had such a great time here. Old San Juan is beautiful and Luis and his partner made it our stay on this part of town that much better, from the regality of the property, to the comfort of the space, we felt like we were in paradise! Excuse the corniness of this review but it really was just so lovely. Luis was so helpful and extremely nice to talk to. We would easily stay here again, no questions asked!

This property was in a great central location in Old San Juan and Luis was a wonderful host. The apartment was clean and pretty. Only issues were a lack of some basic items...no dish soap, no paper towels and no extra toilet paper. Also, the faucet in the kitchen was coming off its base.

We really enjoyed staying here! Everything was as the listing stated. The hosts were so considerate, and the property was clean and beautiful! Also, what a great, central location in Viejo San Juan! Parking in Viejo San Juan is always scarce, but there is the Ballaja parking garage about 6 blocks away that usually has open spaces after 5 PM and is open 24 hours. 🙂 I would absolutely stay here again!!!

A special and unique vacation rental in the heart of Old San Juan. We loved the melding of the outdoor courtyard with the rest of the living space. Do note that this is a very urban setting. There were plenty of late night partiers walking down the street and the space is very open. We live in an urban neighborhood so it didn’t bother us. If the noise doesn’t phase you I can’t imagine a better space to stay. And the location simply can’t be beat.

We absolutely loved our 3 night stay! Felt like home, very private and quiet except for the beautiful sounds of birds every day in the courtyard which added so much to the ambiance of the whole place. We found ourselves wanting to spend time there almost just as much as exploring the town. Perfect location. Host was very sweet and personable but gave us plenty of space and privacy. Loved having the beautiful art exhibition during our stay which didn’t interfere at all with the privacy. Truly cannot say enough good things about this beautiful home. We are looking forward to staying here again whenever we return to old San Juan!

Right in the heart of Old San Juan with easy walk to absolutely everywhere including coffee stand, museums, grocery store and lovely walks.

It wasn't very clean, the kitchen has a moldy smell. The pillows were very flat, and the pillows on the bedroom chairs were flat and dirty. No extra bed sheets available. The toilets not very well adjusted to the floor, so it tumbles and makes a loud banging sound when one sits on it. The power in the apartment is a problem, I lost power one morning while using the blow dryer. The owner knew that this was an existing problem because when I finally contacted him his 1st questions was "if I was using the blow dryer"? I had to make other accommodations for that night, which the owner did apologize for the inconvenience and said he will refund me the night!! The owner did have the problem resolved the very next morning. But then I lost it again the very next day, while using the blow dryer again!! Afterwards I was afraid of loosing power so I never used the blow dryer again during my stay!! The mosquitos are a big problem, I had to buy citronella candles and Raid indoor/outdoor spray to keep them at bay. There's no air conditioner but the fan above the bed keeps it cool during the night. There's no T.V. or radio!! I was some what scared to discover that I was the only person in the entire property and with no local contact information in case of an immediate emergency. The only other occupant is the owner who was out of the country in France!! The entry is secured by a gate that is locked by key both inside and outside, which I find to be a safety hazard in the event of an emergency, the front door can't be locked!! Great, great location but I will never rent!!!

Our experience at this property was nothing but amazing. From the location to the the beautiful art and the decor of the apartment. We fell in love with it immediately. We loved it so much. Luis made sure we had all the amenities we could need. This will go down as one of our favorite vacations. So much memories were made. Thank you Luis for everything!

The apartment was beautiful, the host was amazing and made sure I had everything I needed. Fantastic location and easy to get to everything as well as a grocery store walking distance. The outdoor patio was tranquil and charming. I would stay here again. Very quiet at night even though some bars/clubs are around the corner (La factoria) couldn’t think of a better place to stay.

I booked this stay as a surprise trip to celebrate my boyfriends 30th birthday. We had a wonderful time! The apartment perfectly reflected the charm of Old San Juan and we were very comfortable. Luis was a wonderful and attentive host, quickly answering all our questions. We will be back for sure!!

Nice apartment with patio in downtown Old San Juan. Easy walk to museums churches grocery store restaurants laundromat. Patio was wonderful. You do need to use the mosquito net.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the place is so unique with the open courtyard and we loved hearing the sounds of nature from the garden at night. The location is great and not too noisy. We recommend this place!

Great place to stay. Nice location-close enough to walk and explore the town. Glad the owner suggested we could reach the Escambron beach by walking. There was plenty of room, nice & clean and we loved the courtyard !
