It simply is not the way to start a somewhat expensive vacation. In any event the check in process seems more for the convenience of management rather than customer. Many people in the check line stated that the would not use Paradise Beach Homes again just for that reason, they felt that they lost one half of a day of their vacation waiting un-necessarily to get into a unit. That being said, we enjoyed the unit, it was great except the air conditioner was a little loud but we got use to it. Two refrigerators, pool, dock, pier and location was great. Fans on the porch area would have been a nice addition since on the bay side sometimes their is no breeze. We have been to the Gulf approximately 10 times and I would rate this home the best so far. When we had an issue with the unit and called management, we were treated professionally and and the issue was promptly taken care of. We would consider renting the same unit the next time we come to Paradise Beach.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ensenada Uno is by far one of my favorite beach houses we have stayed in on Pensacola Beach. As a local, we like to stay soundside, but also have nearby beach access which was a quick walk across the street. We had 7 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The home is incredibly spacious, has all the amenities, and was very clean. The two refrigerators was especially helpful with the large group that we had. The beds are comfortable but a little low, however, that did't really bother us. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the master bedroom balcony every morning watching the schools of mullet and sting rays swim by. There is ample seating for everyone to enjoy a meal outside, we hired a hibachi chef who cooked for us poolside. All in all, it was a wonderful beach 'stay-cation' and I would definitely recommend renting this home.

Perfect place, everyone had privacy, very clean and plenty of bedrooms for 10 people. Will come back again. Wish it had an elevator for us two 75 year olds.

We towed our boat there so the dock was a bonus. Great pool. The beds were not so comfy but adequate. Everything we needed in the kitchen. The only negative was it looked like a rush job on cleaning. Still sand on the floors and dust in the corners, kitchen counters were still dirty. Crackers under the couches. The bunk room was great, but very small. We would rent this house again.... But would ask the staff to inspect it first to be sure it was cleaned.

Specifically chose this home because it was advertised as having a HEATED pool and knowing that mid March can be a cool time and that our pool loving kids would enjoy being able to use the pool because it was heated. Upon arrival, management company rep was friendly but did ask if we had issues to wait until next day business hours to call as she was on call that night. The home is beautiful and has a fully stocked kitchen that was perfect for our large family, but a kitchen chair and stool were broken as well as a deck chair when we arrived. The pool was frigid and dirty upon arrival. We attempted to contact management company and had to call several times as they did not return my calls. The pool was eventually cleaned and heat was turned on in pool at the end of our trip. It had not been turned on prior to our arrival! Overall beautiful home that was perfect for our family but in need of some maintenance. Advertising a heated pool is not accurate as owner does not turn heat on until close to beginning of April. Management company while nice and pleasant to speak with did not follow up with me and I had to call them back repeatedly for answers to my questions in dealing with house issues.

I'd like to add that the plumbing (especially in master bath) needs attention. NO (0) Cold water pressure in tub and very minimum water pressure in Shower. Too nice of a master bathroom to not have enough pressure to rinse shampoo out of your hair.. :-( I was under the impression that it had a boat lift and it was broke. Should have been disclosed at time of rental. My boat got banged up pretty good on the dock and had to anchor it most of the week... Ability to use the elevator would have been nice... Really loved the property and will try to rent again.. Hope these things will be addressed before next summer...

We rented paddle boards for the week and were able to have a pontoon boat for a couple days because of the convenient pier. My father is 92 and he loved sitting on the decks and watching all the water birds, dolphins, and jumping fish. A top notch rental!

The only thing that was sub par was the entire vanity in the master bathroom was hanging off of its hinges. The maintenance man stopped by on day 1 to fix it, but left it clamped open and never returned to take the clamps off the next day. Also, the pool was advertised as "heated" and was not. Being on the sound gave us so much more to do. We fished and paddle boarded everyday. It was so calm and relaxing where the beach had a lot of jelly fish and rip warnings. Beach is a 5 minute walk and is very beautiful too. The house was great. There are a few improvements I'd recommend but overall thought it was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The kitchen chairs could be a bit sturdier. The outside couch cushions need to be replaced (Stained badly). The cabinet under the TV in the living room is broken. Would have paid extra for pool heating but it wasn't an option. Disappointed that we were unable to check in before 5pm on the day we arrived. I would have paid extra but that also wasn't an option. With all that said, I'd definitely rent this property again.

When taking a shower the water fills up like a bath tub, maybe the plumbing needs work. The sinks in the same bathroom had the same issue. It would have been nice to have elevators because if guest have lots of bags, carrying them up and down the stairs is a task.

We had a wonderful stay here: it's a beautiful home on the sound with a private pier and easy access to the beach. The property management company was great - and our check in was quick & easy. Overall great experience for our families.

CLEAN, airy and bright, with tasteful, simple beach decor. Beautiful view. Bathrooms galore. Saltwater pool was great. Lots of outdoor seating, (lounge chairs pretty uncomfortable though). Beach a short walk away. Kitchen has everything you need. Loved the convenience of the 2 fridges! House is showing some wear and could use maintenance here and there, but nothing that was a deal breaker. Would have loved a pair of chairs for the inside of the master bedroom. The outdoor chairs on the master veranda were sadly less than comfy (new cushions could help), but you can't beat the view for both sunrise and sunset. Great master bath. As other reviewers mentioned, the beds have no box springs, so they are very close to the floor, which is difficult for some to manage. The mattresses were ok but a box spring could really elevate the comfort. Loud construction going on next door was a real vacation-vibe killer. Hope for other renters that will be done soon. But overall, it was an excellent, and very clean house to call home for a week. This review lists a few things we wished it had- but they are really just observations that could elevate the comfort of this really wonderful vacation property to the next level! Would recommend!
