Ligging van het hotel in centrum van Haarlem is erg goed. Bereikbaarheid vlak bij publieke parkeergarage. Bedden zijn goed.
Het hele hotel maakt een versleten en vermoeide indruk. Afdekplaten in hal (tweede verdieping ontbraken, hierdoor keek je naar vieze technische ruimten. Problemen met verwarming kamers koud en beneden overal extra elketrische kachels. Zeer gehorig, wij zaten aan de voorkant en de buitenramen sloten niet helemaal, tot 5 uur 's nachts herrie op straat. Onmogelijke badkamer, wel groot maar veel ongebruikte ruimte, waardoor kleine douche en een onmogelijk toilet onder het scheve dak. Gaten in de muren, loshangende kabels en handdoekrek. Zeker geen tophotel. Eten in de bistro van het hotel is ook een afrader, voor 5 peronen betaalden wij 400 euro, echt totaal verkeerde prijs kwaliteit verhouding.

Mooi oud pand met vriendelijk personeel.
Verwarming in kamer en badkamer werkte niet. Het vroor buiten en de isolatie van het oude pand is slecht dus het was onprettig koud.

Central location , clean and modern inside.
Room warm as air con unit wasn't working . Portable one provided , but needed window to be open to use it . Would be useful to have a mini fridge in the room to store milk and chilled water .

The location was good and the check-in was efficient.
The experience was spoilt by the breakfast, which was expensive but bad. The muesli was minimal and sweetened. Only one cup of espresso coffee was provided without any milk until requested; the cheese was supermarket level; the scrambled egg was the worst - chopped up omelette so not scrambled and served at the beginning so also cold.

Great location right in the center of downtown Haarlem. Right across the street from a beautiful church. Can walk to restaurants and bars within seconds. Parking is in a paid (33 euros a day roughly) underground garage that is very close to the hotel. Breakfast is worth the money because you get a pre-set selection of various hot and cold items. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and accommodating.
The beds were pretty firm and not super comfortable. The air con is a portable unit that only works when the hose is out the window, meaning if you want air con you have to hear all the loud street noise. Even with the window closed, the street noise is audible way into the night. The church side is a little quieter than rooms on the other side that face the bars. We had to change our original room due to the noise. The shower is rather small.

The location for dinners, etc
Its aging sadly enough. Used to be our favorite hotel.in Haarlem. Noisy, airco not working and undrt F&B overpriced hamburger, couldnt make a simple omelet that any hotel can do. The public car park expensive

Beautifully restored historic building, with spacious light-filled rooms. The location was wonderful for sightseeing on foot and convenient to transit and bicycle rental. Very comfortable bed and excellent breakfast.

The Hotel is located right in the city centre of Haarlem, so that everything is within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and service-oriented and made our stay there an all-round successful experience.

For a first time stay at your hotel, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised by the hotel’s beauty, the comfortable room and the pleasant and helpful staff. The location was a plus.. Exploring Haarlem was so easy from its location. The restaurant served a variety of delicious foods - no need to look for dining elsewhere..

Great location in middle of old town area with a multitude of good restaurants and cafes. Room was modern, comfortable design. The personnel were friendly and helpful although some seemed somewhat inexperienced.

There was no AC in the room and it was necessary to close the windows to keep out street noise. WLAN was acceptable but a bit flaky.

Central location, lovely view of St Bavo. Spacious room, tasteful decoration and good facilities. comfortable bed, separate bathroom and toilet. Original features, well lit and airy. Breakfast room nicely decorated.
Professional, courteous staff - exceptionally helpful and obliging. Assisted with luggage and sorted out a problem with the room safe. Kettle and coffee maker in room, with good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate. The breakfast was fantastic - lots of variety and catered for gluten-free diet brilliantly. Very clean

a beautiful property in a beautiful city
it was noisy on the street from 0700 am. there is a underground garbage container near the hotel and people/restaurants threw away thier glass wich produces a lot of noise. painter started at 0700 with sanding producing noise as well.

The location of this hotel is amazing! Also, it has its character and charm, the room was very cozy and pretty big.
The room needs some maintenance, I understand that this historical building is quite old, but some things could be simply fixed.
