It is a lovely house in a perfect spot, lovely tearoom, friendly pub which serves excellent food, and a well stocked shop/post office with all the essentials and gifts too, everywhere is dog friendly, Dulverton is a lovely little town, good tearooms, good food at The Bridge and for a special meal Woods at the top of the town is excellent and again a well stocked CoOp supermarket. The only issue is the garden is not totally dog proof, our energetic large dog easily managed to jump up the bank by the kennels and try to follow one of our party to the shop, luckily we were with him and saw him do it and the lane to the house is very quiet.

Another lovely stay at Ormrods and the weather was stunning too. This house is so well situated 2 minutes walk to the tea room with scrumptious sandwiches and cake, and a 5 minute walk to to Royal Oak pub great food and very friendly, and the post office/shop is well stocked with essentials and gifts, the garden runs down to the river which is full of little trout, the garden is a bit steep but most of the time is spent on the balcony taking in the amazing views. Very pleased.

This our second stay at Ormrods and it was faultless just like the first. There was even a Roe Deer in the garden for a couple of mornings. Recommended.

The location is lovely and the house spacious. Great pub 5 minutes walk away. We ate a couple of meals on balcony when weather was nice. Will return.

The location is peaceful, close to well-stocked village post office and shop, tea room (excellent cream tea) and pub (good pub food), and has several walking routes available from the front door. The garden is home to lots of small songbirds and other wildlife. The accommodation was warm and comfortable

We had wonderful weather and the south-facing balcony and view were much appreciated.

The house is beautiful with a fantastic view and a lovely balcony to enjoy it from. Having the river at the end of the garden was a bonus. The kitchen is well stocked, I even grew to love the Rayburn’s little ways,

The cottage was perfect as my sister-in-law had Exmoor on her bucket list and needed a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. She had been a regular visitor to Exmoor with my brother- both are very keen on hunting.
