We have a large family with all the grandkids, and this place was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms for the adults and enough pull outs for all the kids. We enjoyed the large kitchen with the table being large enough to sit most of us. Overall it was a great experience!

This is our second couples weekend at this Property. We hosted a Christian marriage conference and the house was wonderful! Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and great space. We will be back for a third. ❤️🙌

I can't say enough about this beautiful home and location. It is even better than the pictures. My family had plenty of space to be together and to spread out. The home has everything you will need and even some things you didn't know you needed. We have stayed in numerous VRBO homes, and this was by far my family's favorite. We played games, shot pool, watched movies, built puzzles, and ate so much delicious food. The hosts were very accommodating and communication was excellent. We truly hated to leave and are already talking about making Serenity Hill a tradition.

Wow! Everything was thought of - from the K-cups to the makeup towels and everything in between. The area is serene and breathtaking. I wish we would have time to shop as nothing is open on Sunday morning yet there was really no reason to leave the house. Everyone of our 9 friends had a place to sleep and plenty of bathroom space. Comfy blankets on cozy couches. The hosts were available for anything we needed and quick to answer. I absolutely loved this house!

Our group of women ranges in age from 57 to 89 and we all absolutely LOVED this house. There was ample room to spread out and enjoy separate conversations without all being in one place. The dining areas also provided ample room to dine without feeling crowded. The house was so well stocked, it felt as if we were living in someone else's full-time home for the weekend. The peace and serenity we enjoyed on the back deck was just what the doctor ordered. And did I mention clean? This is THE cleanest house our group has ever stayed in and we've been doing our fall trips for over 20 years. Thank you for opening up your magnificent home to us!

This property has beautiful views, a walking trail, lake & fishing. The house is beautiful inside and out with a large porch and fire pit. It is open and spacious for a large group to enjoy. The furniture is beautiful and sturdy. Everything is very well kept and functions well. We've been to places that had pretty pictures, but when we went there it wasn't as pictured. You won't find that issue here. We have no complaints, except that we couldn't stay longer. We had a wonderful time in a fantastic house which is located in a beautiful area!

The location and the location size were perfect for our extended family stay. The pictures don't do it justice. Everyone enjoyed every moment of their stay at Serenity Hill. We loved the area's actitvities. If there is one thing that might have made it better would have been a TV mounted outside for the family to watch the football games.

Serenity Hill was the perfect place for our ladies ministry get-a-way! There were 13 of us and we all enjoyed the beautiful roomy home, porch and breathtaking view. The house was well stocked, spotless and everything we needed was there! Great communication with Andrea!

What an amazing location to get away from the daily grind! For the past nine years, my siblings and I, along with our significant others, have been meeting in a central location between Florida and Ohio (usually in North Carolina) to recharge our batteries before the first snowfall. This place blows away all the others, and who would think it would be so close to home for most of us! The views are spectacular. Watching the sunrise from the deck overlooking the fields where the horses graze will be one of the most memorable moments of our lives. The firepit was a great place to wind down for the day and roast marshmallows while star gazing. We even witnessed SpaceX Starlink satellites, which at first, we had thought were UAPs/UFOs. (Look this up on the web) The house is well equipped with everything to make one feel that they're right at home. The beds are very comfortable, fresh clean linens, plenty of bathrooms, and the supplied toiletries were a bonus. There are three ponds from which to fish (catch and release of course) and get in some additional bonding time. The location is close to many Amish stores with way too many tasty homemade treats. Those on a diet may want to avoid entering :) The hosts are terrific and accommodating. We contacted them a few times for trivial things and received replies within minutes! Just an amazing time, location, overall experience. One that deserves more than the five-star limit!! We may break our oath to not visit the same place twice

Serenity Hill was absolutely PERFECT for our family. The house and property were even more amazing than their description in the listing. Lots and lots of space on both levels, so we were never crowded. The kitchen and dining areas were stocked with EVERYTHING needed. And to top it off, Andrea checked in during our stay to see if there was anything else we needed. We did a mix of cooked meals, along with some great pizza from Park Street Pizza in Sugarcreek and Charm Pizza just down the road from the house. Beds were comfortable, and the room-darkening shades enabled us all to sleep in spite of the morning sun. The living room had plenty of space with its comfortable sofas, and the sitting room just off the patio (my favorite spot) was ideal for early coffee and reading. The incredibly huge deck was great with lots of seating, and a gas fire pit. We did use the log-burning fire pit in the backyard to roast marshmallows under the stars one night, something the kids are still talking about. And the neighboring barn and grazing horses fascinated the little ones all week. Almost forgot to mention the huge driveway with plenty of room for bike riding and scooters. Can't recommend this rental and its owners enough, and would definitely stay here again. In fact, we've already told friends with large families about it. Check it out!

We stayed for 5 days, and wished we would have stayed longer. This property was incredibly clean, and the house is huge. We had 4-5 families staying at a time, and the house fit us comfortably. The kids loved taking a short walk to see the horses and the frogs at the small pond, we enjoyed quiet nights on the large deck, and there were enough spaces inside to go while one of the kids was sleeping or napping. Probably the biggest highlight was the host coordinating with us a neighbor girl stopping by to talk about the horses and what it's like living there. If that's a possibility, I highly recommend chatting with her. If we're able to come back to this area, we will definitely choose this house again!

The property is perfect- we have stayed here several times because of the flexibility of the house and space everyone has. We love sitting out on the deck in the evening playing games and enjoying the beautiful views. We will be back again.

We were confused about the bedroom locations. We assumed the 4 bedrooms were on the main floor and since there was only two on the main floor it made it a harder for some of the people to get up and down the stairs. Overall it was a beautiful place to stay.

We found this property to be very accommodating for our visit to this area. The house was very clean. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. The setting is lovely!

This beautiful home and countryside was perfect for our big family. There was nothing missing to make our family’s vacation complete. The guys had golfing close by. The grill was extra nice for us to enjoy meals outside on the spacious back porch. Not one negative comment from any of the family. We hope to do it again. Highly recommend!

Breathtaking views! This property was perfect for our large family with varying ages from 1-60+. The house was clean, welcoming and had plenty of space for everyone. The kids enjoyed the toys and childrens books, the adults enjoyed outdoor games on the lawn, pool table and especially the views of rolling hills with pastures dotted with horses and cows. Very relaxing!

Amazing property. Exactly as pictured and described. The only difference is the view. You absolutely cannot capture in a picture how fantastic it is. Our group spent 90% of our 3 days on the deck! I’ve stayed in a lot of VRBO and this house was the cleanest ever. My entire group noticed. Every nook and cranny was spotless. The beds were comfy and the sheets and towels were super soft. This property was laid out amazingly and the owner has everything you would need We loved the location. Secluded to feel embedded in the country but 5 mins to a couple of the big spots to check out! We would def stay here again Thank you to Hostetler’s!

This was the second time that I have put my golf group at this great home. It is well located for our golf trip and large enough for our group. We may stay there again in the future.
