Close to everything that I needed picked us us from night bud at 3 am

Definitely exceeded expectations. Spotless room that was ready for us with 20 minutes of arriving at 10:30am (before check in), helpful and friendly staff that really made an effort, hot water that actually worked (and fast!), good breakfast, great value for the price. They also turned around laundry for us very quickly.

La atención es lo mejor del lugar. Te hace sentir como en casa. Ella es tan amable y te contagia una sonrisa siempre. El hotel es muy lindo, limpio, bien ubicado. Son muy atentos y amables. Nos dejaron quedarnos en el hotel después de la excursión hasta las 21 que teníamos bus ofreciendo ducha, toalla, etc. Excelente atención. También con ella conseguimos la excursión del día por phong nha. El bus para ninh binh. Y nos dio agua y galletitas antes de llevarnos al bus. Fuimos muy felices. Lo recomendamos al 100%. Sehr freundliches Personal. Der Trip in die Höhlen konnte von dort aus organisiert werden. Die Unterkunft lag sehr schön am Fluss, gut fussläufig vom Ort zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Fluss- sowie einen gemeinsam Balkon, auf dem man einen wunderbaren Blick hatte. In ca. 10-15min Entfernung- ortsauswärts - gibt es ein wunderbar leckeres veganes Restaurant. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier lohnt es sich wirklich einen Tag länger zu bleiben und die Gegend mit dem Roller oder Fahrrad zu erkunden.

Das Bad hat leider keine getrennte Dusche, sodass, wie so oft, beim duschen alles unter Wasser steht. Bei der Weiterreise wurde dem Busfahrer ein falscher Ausstieg genannt, obwohl bis zu finalen Station gezahlt wurde. Das waren dann extra Kosten für uns. Daher aufpassen, wo man rausgelassen wird.

The hosts are beyond fantastic. We only booked for one night at approx £8, but they picked us up from the sleeper bus at 4.30am for free and took us to the hotel. They then let us check in early at that time even though our booking wasn't until the next night, again for free. They also helped with booking a bus to Hue. There's also a really nice range of options for included breakfast.

Spacious and clean rooms, fresh towels and free water provided each day. The owners and staff are really attentive and helpful. The breakfast has loads of different options.

Красивый вид из номера – мы брали с видом на реку, но по факту были видны и горы и закат вечером. В номере были чайник, фен, небольшой холодильник и каждый день нам меняли полотенца и приносили воду. Персонал очень приятный – нас встретили и организовали бесплатный трансфер до отеля, а также увезли на станцию, откуда мы уезжали ночным автобусом. Вручили воду, печенья и 2 вкуснейших Banh Mi – поэтому с утра у нас был готовый завтрак! :) Также, мы брали 2 однодневные экскурсии напрямую у отеля, которые были просто невероятными! Спасибо за рекомендации Завтраки нам очень понравились!

Доступны бесплатные велосипеды, но их пару штук и они не в самом лучшем состоянии, далеко уехать на них не получится. Мы ездили только до центра, чтобы добраться до кафе Также, были проблемы с душем. Тяжело отрегулировать нужную температуру, сама сантехника была потрепанной и не было никаких ограждений/штор, поэтому вся ванная комната после принятия душа в воде

Small hotel kept by a friendly family. The rooms were nice and clean with hot showers. They organized us a taxi to pick us up from the train station, they booked us a nice big bus to Hue and dropped us for free at the bus stop. They also organize trips to the caves. We went with them to Paradise cave and it was actually the husband who drove us in his confortable car.

One room had a problem with the lock so we had to switch to another room, which was not a big inconvenience as we noticed it from the start and we got a nicer room (the first one had no window). It was cold and rainy outside, so the rooms felt cold and damp too. The drying system of the airco helped a bit, but it would have been nice to have a heater in the room (the airco only dried or cooled).

Lo que menos me gustó es que contratamos una habitación grande con balcón y de balcón no tenía nada, el acceso al balcón está fuera de la habitación, tienes q ir al pasillo para ir al balcón. Otra cosa que no me ha gustado es que tras mi estancia y pagar en mano, se me cancela la reserva sin entender por qué

Family owned business and all we're very happy and helpful. Husband, limited English, but wife was a little better. Son spoke good English We arrived by bus at 3 30an, and she came and picked us up, and we checked in immediately and went to bed. We did arrange for a cave tour the next day before back to sleep. Room was very comfortable. The property was across the road from the river, so a nice outlook. They allowed us to use 2 bicycles for a couple of days at no charge Breakfast was included...choice of about 6-7 dishes + various drinks inclusive. Only issue was not many restaurants nearby for evening meal.. But on our last night the staff cooked for us. Which was nice. We were dropped off to the bus in the morning we left No charge for either pickup or drop off Enjoyed it and highly recommend the stay. Paradise Cave was amazing!!!!!

We had a really nice stay at Son Dong Riverside. The owner was very helpful and kind. They have tours to the caves and different adventure if you don't want to book anything in advance before your visit. The guide was excellent and the view from the river is really something. You can also order food, dessert and drinks from the homestay, whatever you need, if they dont have it at home, they will arrange it for you. The trip to Phong Nha was a clear highlight for us, would definitely be turning in the future to explore more of the nature.

This charming establishment sits just across the road from the river, away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, offering guests breathtaking views throughout their stay. The owner's hospitality truly stood out during our visit. Observing us walking back from town, he kindly offered us a lift back to the accommodation. He went above and beyond by arranging a fantastic sleeper bus for our next journey and even personally drove us to the bus stop. Additionally, when I found a cheaper tour online, he graciously matched the price, ensuring we enjoyed a delightful tour. Operated by a warm and welcoming family, the place exudes a cozy ambiance. Breakfast, though simple, was satisfying, allowing us to savor the beautiful surroundings while starting our day. It's important to note that there are no elevators on the premises, but the stunning views from the rooms more than make up for any inconvenience. All in all, this accommodation offers a delightful retreat with incredible views and outstanding hospitality.

We got in Phong Nha very early by nightbus (4 a.m.) and they told us to call them so they would pick us up at the bus stop. We where able to spend the rest of the night in our room free of charge, because we only booked the following night. They arranged a tour for us for the same day to the paradise cave and the dark cave which was fun! (the botanical gardens and rescue center that comes with the tour is not really worth your time, but it is a package deal.) They also booked us a bus to Hue, which picked us up at the hotel. So we where very happy with this homestay because they made our trip to Phong Nha very easy and relaxing!

It is a bit far away from the city center, but there are a few restaurants nearby, so if you are staying for a short trip, you don't need to go to the center anyways.

Hosts really welcoming and helpful ! Room clean and functional. Meals at the hotel were really tasty ! you can rent a scooter from the hotel to explore the area

Very nice people. Made us feels special with their personalized attention. Special mention to The owner couple Hop and Hoi , Sang and Ms Hue. Food provided was excellent. The River Side view was awesome. We had booked the river view rooms which were of good size , very neat and clean. One can hire bike at the Homestay . Value for money. The Homestay made travel arrangements at very reasonable cost. They provide all the information with regards to places of interest in the area. Minimum days recommended 3-4 days or more to really enjoy and absorb the beauty of the place and visit all the places in the area. Would definitely like to go back.

The most amazing and loving family operates the hotel. the best value for money in town.

The room clean and comfortable, the TV even had Netflix. Speedy Wifi and a really good breakfast! The owner of the homestay let us shower after we have checked out and came back from the caves and even gave us a little care package and water for the night bus. Really nice people.

The stay is opposite to the Phong Nha river and the rooms are clean with all facilities. It is okay for one night stay but will not recommend to stay longer.

Breakfast had very limited options and the taste was really not good. You can either take tea or juice but they are charged equal to any other property and other properties have no such restrictions. I will not stay on this property again, waste of money for breakfast. Dinner was also very bad, I arrived late so had no other choice. No one came to take the order or ask if I need anything and I had to go again and again to reception to ask for food. The host was talking on a video call and it felt like I was disturbing her to ask for anything. The hosts are also rude and non-accommodating.

Location , transfer to train station, wonderful staff, over road from river.

Busy doing building work before rain season so noise all day 8 to 5pm.

Good location, cheap place to stay for a very short time. View is nice and host is very kind.

The AC in our room didn’t work but we didn’t ask to move because we were there such a short time. We got ants in our room very quickly from a peanut snack we had bought for the bus ride that was wrapped in plastic. Single use toiletries were already open. But you get what you pay for so I can’t complain too much.
