The location was nice and central, very well presented, great for 2 and all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay, even had an air display that weekend, nothing to fault.

Lovely idyllic location and no TV ! Beautiful garden to sit in to completely relax.
Just make sure of the check out time as website advises 10-10.30 but we were abruptly told check out was actually at 10 at 10.20 !

Quiet, private, comfortable stay.
A microwave and a television would be be beneficial. On the other hand, we’re not really bothered because we cooked on the hob and my hubby brought a tablet so we used it on the night time. We’re mainly out during the days exploring places and attractions. All in all, we’ve enjoyed our stay.

Location, self contained, private.
Lots of good eating places nearby, but a car is needed.
Wi-fi could have been stronger, as it did drop out/in however this didn’t distract from it being a fab place. I suspect it’s to do with the location and the owners wouldn’t be able to improve.

The beautiful garden and warm hosts. Lodge has everything you need.
Warmest of welcomes from the hosts. Stunning location. Fell in love with the garden which the lodge steps right out onto. Lovely lodge. Thank you for an amazing stay.

Very friendly, helpful hosts, and lovely gardens. Bathroom and kitchen of high quality. Hosts provided useful "extras"- tea, coffee, etc.
No television and internet connection poor. Safe exit from the property onto the road was hazardous. A microwave would have been a bonus.

Loved the peace and tranquility of the secluded location. Hosts very welcoming and just left us to our own devices after letting us in. Very helpful when asking about local places to eat and shop. Just a few miles from Bewl Water, Stockney Castle Gardens and Lamberhurst.
Wi-Fi was limited (so music intermittently interrupted). Having read the rave reviews for the stocked up fridge for breakfast was surprised when we arrived that this wasn't the case (due to Covid), which is fair enough but would have been helpful to know that before we arrived. Took a while to find somewhere to stock up but Dennis was very helpful later and pointed us in the right direction.
