Our family had a very wet, but fun three days at Veranda 2. The view from the veranda is spectacular!

Great place to stay

Family trip with 4 adults and 6 kids (age range 5-17). House was clean and well stocked. The 3 bedrooms up were perfect for the kids. Deck overlooking Lake Placid had a great blend of sun and shade. Having 2 primary suites on the main floor was really nice as well. We enjoyed our stay immensely. Walking distance to downtown. This property is awesome. We will definitely be back!

Stayed with a group of 9 people, it was the perfect size and in a great location. Will definitely be staying here again!

My wife and her friends really enjoyed the weekend at the house. Its a great place for a group and a great location in Lkae Placid.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay. The house has an incredible view of Mirror Lake and we enjoyed the use of the Crown Plaza pool and hot tub. We were able to walk to Main Street for dinner each night and were very close to all of the Olympic sites including Whitfwce for skiing.

Our group (ages 23-64) was very comfortable in the setting. Excellent open space for gathering and private bedrooms.easy access to everything . .

Perfect location with access to Crowne Plaza pool and hot tub (teens loved it!) Short walk to ice skating and main street. There were 8 of us 2 couples and 4 kids - 5 to 16. Beds and baths were great. A great night and day view from the kitchen and tv room. Easy to accommodate pets walking on the quiet road and in the back. The Corgi loved the deep snow! Plenty of parking. We cooked in for four nights and the kitchen supplies are thin. I would suggest a take out dinner first night unless you have time to shop. We are serious about coming back next year. If you have a need you can walk to the hotel next door. They were helpful. Second floor has a lot of stairs that did not bother us. The 5 year old considered it an adventure! We had a great 4 days. JH

My wife and I stayed here with two young kids (7 and 4) and my parents for a ski trip to Whiteface. Plenty of space, with room to spare. Great kitchen, though could be better stocked (had to buy sponges, paper towels, placemats). The table was big enough for us all to eat at. Fantastic location in the middle of the village of Lake Placid, and 20 minutes from Whiteface. My wife used the Crowne Plaza gym, which she liked. The restaurant was good for the family. We'll be back next year!

Pictures on the listing don’t do this house justice. It’s spacious, beds are so comfortable, and the location is perfect! At the top of the hill overlooking Main St and Mirror Lake, the views are incredible and the walk to town is so quick!

My family just returned from celebrating Christmas in Lake Placid. We rent a house annually as our tradition in this year was a Crowne Plaza’s home. Everything was as it was described in the posting, but just a few things to note. The kitchen definitely needs some basic utensils like bottle and wine openers, but we were creative until we were able to buy something. The oven was not working as it should, taking longer to cook things. All in all the house was accommodating and Ray was very quick to reply to questions. The view was the best! Thank you Lake Placid and Crowne for another great year!!!!

Great place for a family of 3 generations! There’s plenty of room to spread out and the view from the deck was breathtaking! Walking to and from town helped to balance all the good food we ate😊

This was a great place to stay. We were in the prime location for the 4th of July fireworks!!

Property was fantastic. Great view off the deck. Great couch and chair arrangement for catching up with those who have not seen each other’s for years. Great kitchen table to have leisurely breakfast. Convenient to walk downtown for shopping and eating. Variety of bedrooms to choose from and all slept great. Easy access to hotel across the street.

Great view, good location and plenty of room

We enjoyed our holiday vacation at Veranda 2. It was very clean and so spacious. My husband and I had 6 teens with us ranging in age from 15-19 and there was more than enough space to accommodate them. The house is next to the hotel so the kids could use the indoor pool and gym. Easy walk to town and a quick drive to Whiteface mountain. The view is amazing especially from the 3rd-floor bedroom! You won't be disappointed staying at Veranda. We hope to be back soon!

Wonderful, clean space in an amazing location in the village. We had 5 adults and 5 children under 14 in our party and it was perfect. We would stay here again without question.

Excellent property. Lovely view. The only deficit was that the cooking pans should be replaced.

This rental exceeded our expectations. The walls doors and floors were beautifully lined with wood and very spacious for the amount of people we had. The view was perfect and it was a perfect location close to the town that we could walk and get breakfast. We will be staying here again!

Great location and great quality

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is great and you cannot beat the location.

The views shown in the pictures are great, but they don't compare to real life. We were blessed with several crisp clear winter days which made it even more spectacular. The whole house was very clean. Water pressure was great for showers and we never ran out of hot water. Plenty of towels and toiletries for our entire group. The only changes I would make would be to have more kitchen amenities (There were no sponges or dishwasher detergent and literally only 1 medium sized frying pan, no other cookware.) and perhaps a bench in the large foyer to make it easier to get your shoes/boots on and off. Neither was a major problem though. Our group is already discussing plans to return.

The home was a good size with 5 bed and 3 full bath. Everything we very cleaned. Manager was very responsive to questions.

Location is perfect to downtown and ability to use amenities at crowne plaza was awesome as well
