Our family enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Escape. We had 8 adults and 9 kids ranging from 21 months to 8 years. We had plenty of room and comfy beds. We really enjoyed fishing from the dock. Water was very clear. One child got swimmer's itch so we suggest washing after being in the water with soap and a washcloth. There are some cute shops in town. Lots of games and puzzles for rainy days.

The cabin was what we needed and even though the weather was on the cooler side our older boys enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boat. We rented the pontoon so loveded the tour around the lake and a bit of fishing. Just time relaxing on the deck and enjoying the lake view.
The cabin is clean, well stocked and plenty of games.
Only negative was the highway noise seemed to be a trucking route but not enough to spoil our camp fires.

Clean comfortable escape. Spacious with all the amenities. With extra touches to make it feel like home. Beautiful setting even in the winter! Plenty to do on site. We didnt leave much due to the snowstorm and still had a lovely time. Kind host responsive to questions. We will be back!

We had a great time at this property. From the moment i walked in it felt like Home. It was so comfortable. A great place for a family gathering. Hot tub was fantastic and we enjoyed it so much. Would love to come back next year. The house hd everything we needed. Nice quiet neighborhood. Loved it!!

The property was beautiful and very peaceful. Was so peaceful time was practically “stopped” and away from technology was so peaceful. Been better if we didn’t have certain family members but we will live.

Property was clean and well supplied. Nice deck overlooking lake, nearby highway was a little loud but tolerable. The property worked well for the eight of us.

This was our 6th year at Lakeside Escape over Labor Day weekend. Our family loves this tradition. We have plenty of room, love the cleanliness and all the amenities that Lakeside Escape offers. Two bathrooms were recently updated and they look wonderful.
We will be back for sure!!

Clean and well stocked lake house. There are two extra fridges in the garage which is great for a full house. Enjoyed our stay!

We booked this house to celebrate Grandpas 70th Birthday. It was great fun as all four children/spouses and 6 grandchildren made it to celebrate. Great sleeping arrangements, spacious living areas and a beautiful lake made it so enjoyable that we seldom left the place. The shallow water out back with a sandy bottom was perfect for our young grandkids!
We would definitely return.

Enjoyed our relaxing 2weeks. Lots of games and toys for the littles. Plenty of room for the 11 of us. Loved been on the lake kayaking, canoeing and Paddle boating. Certainly had the best weather.

Very nice home that fit our large family perfectly! Loved sitting on the large deck and looking over the lake. The water was beautiful. We did lots of fishing and tubing. Great week away!

A group of 10 of us stayed at the property and we had a great time! Even though it was a rainy weekend, there are plenty of activities to do inside like games, a poker table (with cards and chips), a dart board, and an indoor fireplace. We had a great time making food and hanging out. We definitely want to come back when it’s nicer weather to take advantage of the kayak and pedal boat!

We had a lovely time at the property. The owner was very prompt and courteous in his communications, and there was even a little basket with welcome goodies. Plenty of fire wood, kitchen towels, toilet paper, and some other basics. The only thing we were missing was some aluminum foil or tupperware for leftovers. Beds were all comfy and there was plenty of space to spread out. But the very best part was the view....big windows that look out over the lake were wonderful. All in all a great visit at a great place.

This was our 6th time enjoying this property! Everything you need is provided, very clean and attractive decor. We love the spaciousness and privacy and most of all the hot tub!

Owners were awesome, and available if needed. Although we didn't need anything because it was well kept and there were no problems. The inside was very clean, and neat. The outside could use a little spider mitigation. But they didn't appear to be a problem inside. So that was good. All in all, we had a great time and definitely recommend!

Place was great! 45 minutes from OSH with a lake, boats, and indoor recreation for kids and adults. Everything was there that I would have had if I owned the place. Lots of fire wood, lifejackets and complimentary ingredients for s'mores! Traffic noise didn't bother us.

Lakeside Escape was probably the best equipped vacation rental that we have experienced. We loved it! The kids had lots to do, water was nice and shallow for the younger ones and we could watch everyone from the deck! The sunsets we're awesome! We had plenty of space for all 16 of us! The only minor downside was the traffic noise but we got used to it!

60th Celebration
We enjoyed the lake and fire pit. We were without electric for one day and there should have been flashlights and better prepared for this. The upper and lower deck could have been cleaner.
