The apartment was as advertised and was clean. There was a sign in the bathroom that said white washcloths could not be used for makeup removal (or you will be charged) yet no dark colored ones were provided. The check-in process was quick and easy and the host was nice through messages. The apartment could use a little TLC. Numerous lightbulbs were burned out, drapes are hard to open and door to balcony does not close easily. I'm sure some of these things are a result of being so close to the ocean and aren't a huge deal, but could help the overall feel of the apartment. The bed quality was similar to a pullout in a living room. The center has a dip that my husband kept sinking into. The AC worked great and the view was awesome. As far as the building goes, it's pretty outdated. One of the elevators was out of order and the one that was operable was slow. It also stopped on the floor below us every single time we went down (not up) and there was no one ever there. We didn't use the amenities, but they seemed nice. Overall a good stay for the price.

Quiet and clean place.

Carmen was responsive to issues we encountered with our stay. Unit is dark and needs updating. It was missing several items listed on the booking. No grill, no ceiling fans, no beach towels, 2 beach chairs only, and hairdryer was broken. This unit should be listed as appropriate for 2 guests only as it is very small for me, my husband, and teen daughter. Only 2 bath towels available. No blanket or pillows available for pullout couch. Salt, pepper, coffee filters were available but no other seasonings or supplies. No detergent for washer. All of this being said, the view and location were lovely. Close to beach, ferry, and el yunque. Carmen was responsive and brought beach and bath towels, a new hair dryer, and offered to pay for the pillows we had to purchase.

The apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony was great! The only thing I did not like was that the apartment is on the 9th floor there’s 2 elevators, 1 for even numbers and 1 for odd numbers. When we arrived the only one working was the even numbers one. So each time we had to take the elevator to the 10th floor and walk down. When the other elevator was fixed they didn’t tell us. We noticed when we were leaving that the even numbers elevator was broken and the odd numbers were fix.

Dissatisfied bc Pool was out of service for a few days. Also they close the pool too early (7:00 pm) Information about the apartment is out of date regarding the things that are supposed to be in the apartment.

This property was not good because they didn’t have utensils for us to eat. The washer and dryer smelt like old mildew. The sink in the kitchen was stop up so only one side was working. The pool was close for the first two days that we was there and the elevator was not working so only one of them was working. Also it’s so hard to get an Uber or taxi in that area. I would never recommend that place to anyone to stay. After 8pm there isn’t no Uber it was ridiculous.

All in all it was a very good stay and a great view of the oven. Would stay there again.

Perfect spot and had everything we needed for a few days at the beach.

View and beach were beautiful. Condo is dark and worn. Floors were dirty. No real help from Host about useful info in regards to where anything is located, ex. Stores, restaurants. We got there too early to check in and nothing was opened close by. One elevator completely broken and the other one not too far behind.

This apartment is gorgeous! The pictures don’t do justice to the amazing view. My only feedback is that we arrived late and there weren’t instructions to access the building after hours. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay

The condo was beautiful and the view was even better. The condo was fully stocked for cooking and a beach day. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Luquillo area. I would suggest updating the check in instructions, as some things have changed and it was a little confusing.

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay very much! The condo is just as pictured with the exception of blue paint in the bedroom. Lovely, quiet balcony with fantastic views. 5 minute walk to the beach or pool. Gated entrance/exit to beach with a shower at gate to rinse off. Brass Cactus Grill is within walking distance and has great food. The food kiosks are about a mile away but we drove there. Rain forest is 15 minutes and is amazing! You need a $2 ticket to get in which you can purchase on the website. You must purchase in advance. Grocery and drugstore are across the street from the condo. Great place to stay and close to everything in Luquillo.

The property had a great view of the ocean with a short walk to the beach. The interior of the property was well maintained and was very comfortable. The next time we come to Puerto Rico, we will be hopefully staying at the property.

Location was great

Perfect location for lazy beach days, exactly one mile from awesome kiosks (we ate there for dinner each night), quick drive to El Yunque. Can’t beat the location. Great value.

This was an amazing birthday getaway. In addition to the great location, Carmen made sure everything was taken care of before our visit. It was a close walk to eateries, the beach and a quick drive to a local Kiosko. I have nothing but great things to say about my trip. It was well worth it.

The view is lovely but I was disappointed with there not being an electric grill or fans in the apartment as were listed in the property guide. I also was unable to sleep for the majority of the trip due to the bed being way over worn out where you are basically falling out of it and the couch being no better so I actually resorted to the the tile floor for periods of time to sleep to make my back feel better. I'm 28 with no history of back pain so it was directly associated with the poor mattress. The kitchen has all of the equipment you could need but is very limited in regards to seasonings ect. The elevator for the odd numbers was broken for my entire stay but it was not detrimental. The pool is still being repaired as to be expected. Cleanliness was not to my level but I am an overly clean person. Walking barefoot turned my feet brown on the very first night in the apartment, the throw blankets smell as though they have not been washed for some time, the shower liner has mold growing on the lower part of it, and the coffee maker was coated with a thick brown coating where the water could not pass through so I cleaned it. Over all these are all minor things that did not ruin my trip. The view is nice, location is okay (not a fan of the restaurants in the kiosks-serious tourist traps. Highly recommend Bistro Del Mar food truck), and the apartment is as the pictures represent it. The guards are pleasant as were the parking entrance employees. Several stray cats on the property that happily greet you to be pet. Over a decent stay.

OUR UNIT WAS JUST AS DESCRIBED. THE VIEW WAS GORGEOUS! Parking was secure and plentiful. We plan to return to Puerto Rico and would love to stay again with this lovely host.

This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and we could not have selected a better location or nicer condo. There was myself, my boyfriend and his sister who was there part of the week and used the pull out sofa. Which she said was very comfortable. We rented a car which I recommend if you stay here and which is very reasonable. The location is just close enough to San Juan to get there easily to enjoy all it has to offer while enjoying a more peaceful setting once you are ready to relax. The condo is extremely very well maintained as are the grounds. The large balcony is a definite plus and is an especially nice place to have breakfast. Although I did wish a little for some more comfortable exterior furniture the living room furniture is very comfortable. About 15 minutes east in and around Fajardo you have access to all the snorkeling tours, ferries, etc. Plus you are just minutes from the rain forest. There are also several very good restaurants in Fajardo. The photos clearly reflect what this property looks like. We will definitely keep this on our list of places to visit again.

My fiance and I stayed in this beautiful condo in Luquillo in Aug. 2014 and we'll surely be back again. I love the municipality of Luquillo, esp. Playa Azul! The location itself is very convenient, with many amenities within reach. It's a short drive to the beautiful marinas in Fajardo or even further out to Humacao. Or only 30 mins away from SJ and the airport. Of course, the Kioskos, El Yunque and some wonderful shops in nearby Palmer are all under 10 minutes ago from the building. The unit itself is clean, the decor is modern and tasteful and the kitchen is supurb for cooking great meals. Being New Yorkers, having a washer/dryer for our use was HEAVEN! The balcony is gorgeous, and being a professional photographer.. I probably spent most of my time taking pictures of the ocean, sunrise/sunset. Carmen was very attentive, accomodating and a phone call away. I want to live in this apartment!! We will be back very very soon!

My husband and I spent 5 nights in this very clean and well maintained property, big balcony with great view of the beach and pool area. Lots of towels/linens available, beach chairs and boogie boards, too. Kitchen cabinets had some spices, coffee, creamer, etc which was a nice "extra". Plenty of pots and pans, dishes, plastic left-over containers to make cooking easy and Amigo Grocery store (owned by Wal-Mart) is just across the Hwy. We did venture down to the food kioskos one evening and ate at LaParilla, good fresh seafood 'tho a bit pricey. This is a good location to use as a home base while enjoying a nice beach, visiting the rainforest (entrance is about 10 mins away), 20 minutes to Fajardo's marina to catch a boat for a snorkel trip or the ferry to Culebra, and only about 25-30 minutes from the airport in good traffic. WOW! Staying at this condo was like living a dream! From the moment you open the front door you are in awe! The amazing ocean view is there for you from almost every angle in the apt. You get ocean view from the kitchen, from the living room and bedroom. The balcony is big and you have plenty of chairs and a nice size round table. You also have an electric grill in the balcony (nice bonus). You will also find 2 beach chairs and 3 boogies boards. Apartment is kept in excellent conditions and it's very very clean. Huge TV in the living room and a second TV in the bedroom. Carmen and Hector were extremely helpful and nice. I really appreciated their interest in making sure that everything was alright! The location of the apartment is very good too. You are about 40-45 min from the airport. You have a supermarket right across the street (AMIGO supermarket). The apartment is equipped with all cooking essentials. Bathroom is well equipped with regular towels and beach towels. If you are looking for a good spot for breakfast and lunch; take a walk to Aromas Rest. This place has amazing coffee and great breakfast and lunch items. For dinner take a ride to Kiokos de Luquillo (5 min. away in car) and try "La Parilla Rest" high quality seafood in a very casual and nice environment. The Costa Azul beach is beautiful and quiet. Just like paradise! I'm so happy that I found this property! I look forward to future trips to beautiful PR and to future stays at this condo.

Our family had a wonderful stay there! Private and beautiful beach front just few minutes away! Plus a supermarket is cross the street! Great location, great facility! The most popular places are within only a half hour driving! Please remember to ask landlord to give you the key for the private beach door. We didn't get it & had to wait for others to open for us!

Apt.was safe, clean and modern. People here were friendly. Hector answered all my questions quickly. Already booked again for next year!

We spent a week here celebrating our honeymoon. The place was great n clean with great oceanview. I would recommend it to anyone n would gladly stay here again.

The apartment is exactly as you see in the pictures. You would never see the owner or the manager so it is a little impersonal but perfect in every other aspect. The facilities are clean and the apartment has everything you need for your vacation. It is a home away from home. I can definitely live there.
