Crystal Blue is a fantastic vacation spot. It is a rare location that is beach front with no road, parking or anything except a small lawn between you and the beach. I enjoyed sunrise nearly every morning with my coffee on the porch. I could be in the water in just a few minutes when I wanted to soak up some saltwater. It's about a 25 minute walk along the beach to the kioskos where you can grab a meal or an amazing mojito at the Mojito Lab. There is a swimming beach along the way, about 15/20 mins, but you can wade and float on the beach right in front of the condo. The area feels very safe. In fact, throughout our exploring in PR, including a long day trip to Isabela, and another to Ponce, and to the rainforest, it always felt safe. The people of PR were warm and welcoming. The condo was well equipped with basic items in the kitchen, so plan on there likely being basic spices, olive oil, etc. There is an ice maker that works. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, coffeemaker, toaster, etc. The cleaning service does a great job.The washer/dryer is great, used it a couple times and they provided soap. The living room was comfortable for 5 of us as we watched movies a few evenings. They provide snorkel fins (and maybe masks, but we brought our own), beach chairs, a basket of beach towels (8+), games for lawn and table. We had a couple issues during our stay with our gate clicker not working one day, and the power going out and causing issues with appliances - the management company was quick to respond, even on a Sunday. There is an Amigo market nearby, and a Walmart in Farjardo, their selection of fresh veggies and meat are not great. Rio Grande, which you'll pass on the drive to Luquillo, has an excellent supermarket with lots of selection. Amigo is great for basics, and some local foods, liquor. Walgreens is well stocked with all you'd expect. We LOVED our stay and are already plotting our next trip to Crystal Blue!

We had 5 people and didn't realize the 3rd twin bed was a trundle, it was not comfortable. Our 20 year old daughter ended up sleeping on the couch, which was okay until the strong winds scared her and she ended up in the king bed with us. The wind is incredibly strong in the evenings, and it rained heavily every night (March)...which is fine except the sliding doors didn't close tight and the wind whistled more than expected. The dresser in the bedroom had a broken drawer, but we found plenty of space for our clothes. Another set of keys would be helpful for the gate to the beach. We loved the place so much, these are small things to help improve but the value is great!

We liked everything. The unit is located on the second floor with the patio facing East. We especially enjoyed the picture perfect sun rises and shaded evenings. It is also located at the end out the road and is away from the usual beach crowds. There is an undeveloped beach just 150 yds away. The water is quiet shallow a long was out to the breakers, thus there is always a soft sounding of waves. Quiet time starts at 8:00pm. This is fully gated and very secure. Definitely not a party place! Judith made everything easy and is a delight to work with. This is one of those definitely to come back to!

The instructions for checking in were easy to follow, however the instructions for checking out, specially the location of the keys and beepers was somewhat confusing. There's water filtration on the wall next to the entrance door, whereas it has affected one of the two the ceiling fan and lighting controls. There were no written instructions on the use of the ceiling fans and its lighting. The kitchen and laundry appliances need to some TLC or updating as it's rusting away. The bbq gas grill was all rusted away and its ignition pilot not working, therefore careful when lighting up or else in blow up and burn you. Neighbor or owner at # 101 a real pain in the neck , made us unwelcome. Always complaining, since the day we arrived, complained on how we parked the car in our spot, on how we unloaded. Due to this uneasiness with the neighbor, my son in law ended up parking his car next door at Cond Punta Bandera, since his mother and family were staying there. There's no visitor's parking at Crystal Blue. Also the same neighbor, complained because we were playing during Friday afternoon, whiffle ball with our kids, although all of us were wearing facemasks and maintaining social distance, respecting COVID19 rules and restrictions. That same neighbor at # 101 didn't complain when the neighbors on # 401 were speaking and playing loud music , during the evening of Friday Nov 27 2020 and way past the suggested 10pm time of no noise. Couldn't sleep until 1am when the loud voices and music ceased.

The nice sea breeze blows in all day cooling off the entire apartment. Beach front apartments that features a gorgeous view... crystal clear water, Caribbean like waters... place provides chair and beach towels, kitchen fully equipped, washer and dryer. Shower near the gate to wash off after coming from the beach...Super convenient and comfortable

Have no critics at all... just something to add to make the apartment even more comfortable: the master bedroom needs blinds or curtains to block the very early morning sun from hitting the room so early and wake us up
