It was amazing

The condo was clean, comfortable and spacious! The view was magnificent! The shower was wonderful! The security was comforting and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The beach access was simple and convenient! Can't wait to visit again!

It was nice and cozy place. A lot of stores and easy to get to. I had a great time.

We absolutely loved this place, it was exactly what we needed for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The pool was absolutely amazing and the building is so close to things that we needed in walking distance such as multiple food options, a small convenience store right across the street and ample parking. The only thing not so great I can say is the building was getting work done in the elevators so only one was working and they didn’t finish peeling the plastic off of the outside of the elevator and it started peeling off and made it look awful on the outside which is not the owners fault but the building should’ve made sure they removed it because it just looked bad. Other than that perfect stay and very close to the marina as we went to Culebra for a day. I will definitely be back.

The apartment is clean and beautiful. The recreation area and beach access were fantastic. It would be nice if the pool stayed open a little later than 7pm. The only glitch in our stay was the elevators. They are under repair and not always working. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

This property was so great for my family!! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the view was amazing. We used the pool and beach access every day. Susana was such a great host. She checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly and even dropped off some beach items to the apartment for my kids to use. Everyone we interacted with (tourists and locals) was so kind. We would absolutely stay here again. The only problem was the hot water went out, but it is a 2 second fix, so it didn’t negatively impact our trip.

We had a wonderful experience. With a little difficultly getting into the condo, Susana was very helpful over the phone and we got settled very quickly. We enjoyed a safe, cleanly condo with a great view of the water and easy access to the beach.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay in Luquillo. The condo is ideally located. It’s in close proximity to beaches, El Yunque, and the wonderful little town of Luquillo. Additionally, the host, Susana, was very responsive whenever we needed to reach out to her. Enjoy!

Good communication eith owner. Lovely spot, right on beach, food nearby. Nice pool. Seciure location. Comfortable apt. Generator kicked in to keep elevators running during a power outage during a storm. Highly recommend

Lovely apartment in Playa Azul #3/high floor. Great beach and recreation area view. I've been coming to PR and staying at PA (my family owned an apartment in PA1) since late 1960's. Following Hurricane Maria's devastation, the pool/rec. areas have been fully restored and I have never seen it looking so well maintained. Complex security as well as the individual buildings and rec. area security remain excellent There is 24/7 security to enter the complex and 24/7 security for each building. My husband and I felt very safe. Luquillo town remains adorable and sleepily typical of Carribean towns- nothing fancy, but with a few small, eclectic family owned establishments. There are also the nearby 'stands' close to the entrance to the public beach. Try them out if you want some good, authentic PR cuisine. Also, several small, simple, but good bar-b-que places close by along Rte. 3. Regarding the apartment- very clean and and met our needs. Specifics: Bathroom: Initially we had a bit of trouble with lack of hot water, but when we notified Susana, she immediately responded and her husband, Marco came by to do an adjustment; no issues after. Walk in shower: good pressure/comfortable. Could use a couple of shelves for renters' toiletries. Kitchen: working full refrigerator; stove top; washer and dryer; microwave. Adequate to make breakfast and also lunch sandwiches. We always went out for dinner. Bedroom: very comfortable mattress; dresser in closet and out of the way; split unit ac which was very quiet Living room: Futon chair and sofa- not the most comfortable for watching TV (which we did minimally). Netflix available/log in unnecessary. DVD player available. No issues with internet service. LR split unit: quiet. Balcony: 2 comfortable chairs and table to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. Heat generated by the split units is an issue if you want to sit out in the middle of the day with the units on. Best of all, Susana and her husband, Marco are really interested in their renters having a good time. They are easily available by text/phone for any issues/questions. Also, unlike other short term rentals we have stayed, this listing's pic's are are accurately represented of what you will find. Look closely for details. Looking for a typical chain hotel resort experience,? This is not the place for you. If you want an authentic cost-effective experience to interact with the friendly PR population, then you might consider this unit.

The time we spent in Puerto Rico was great however the apartment had issues. No working hot water, the owner said the tankless unit need to be replaced and obviously she knew this. If you want to enjoy the balcony, you must turn off the mini-split A/C units. The reverters are on the patio blowing heat on you. And finally, the building is in need of repairs, only one working elevator, missing windows and the ceiling sheetrock is falling in the hallways.

The place is really nice and clean however itcan use some updates. My overall experience was very positive and pleasant. I love Playa Azul. I will give a 4.4 rating and will stay again if I have too.

I love the property, it's so beautiful and peaceful to the point that I didn't want to leave. The only problem I had was some Construction that's being done to the apartment above my head early in the morning. Other than that I can't wait to come back to Puerto Rico and this property. The swimming pool was nice and clean every morning the Symmetry was so gorgeous and the convenient of the Beach being right there. It has everything of home that you need, nice size kitchen, beautiful bedroom the place is just gorgeous. And Miss Susan and her husband is a very nice and was there to answer any questions or help out anyway they could.

Susana’s listing is the perfect family beach stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our vaccination recently. It’s perfectly located from Luqilo beach and closer to all the action at Fajardo. The apartment has every amenities you need for a family stay including fully equipped kitchen, Netflix and private beach access. We highly recommend this stay and will plan for future stay in PR!

I couldn't have picked a better location. Mountains to my left the beach to my right. The condo was super cozy and had all essentials. The bed was amazing. It's a quick walk to the beach and I felt super safe the entire time. Staff is friendly and helpful. Looking to rebook!

Susana’s beautiful condo is perfect in every respect! The functional layout and comfortable bedding and furniture make your stay enjoyable, including 2 flat screens and a well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stovetop and microwave. The balcony was where I ate breakfast each morning to the sound of the surf, which can also be heard through the closed windows with A/C or with the bedroom windows open with the ocean breeze. The gated entrancs make for a secure feeling when traveling alone. Luquillo has a Walmart-Amigo just across Route 3. The Econo in Fajardo has better produce and is larger. There is a Walgreens down from the Amigo past the Wendy’s and McDonald’s. It sells EVERYTHING beyond a regular chain store, from beachwear to household and stationery items from 8 am-9pm. San Jose church has amazing hundreds years old wood art thss ast integrates Taino and Spanish cultures that is a must see. I’m Catholic and went to daily and Sunday Masses. You get to meet the townspeople and develop friendships. The yoga studio across the plaza has all the contacts info painted on it. Jenn Forshed offers morning classes on the Playa Azul Beach. The surf schools are closed down for now. Deaths in families. The recrwationsl amenities are fantastic! The pool is about 17 m and the beach is beautiful with palm trees, golden sand and is protected by a barrier reef. Some days it is one big pool. Susana thoughtfully provides beach chairs, a rolling cooler and noodles in the bedroom closet. I just sat on a towel. 😊 El Yunque by reservation still is a great natural wonder, as are Rio Camuy Caverns south of Arecibo, if you’d like a cool drive. San Juan can take 45-1 hour 30 minutes, and Old San Juan is a must see. I prefer Playa Azul to the beaches I saw along the urban coast. Place a love lock at Catanyo on the other side of Bahia Bay (ferry) from Old San Juan at Puente Rosado. Or drive and park and eat along the shore. Best restaurant is La Parrilla at the very end of the Rt 3 Kioskos. Ask for upstairs on weekends with an ocean view or first floor ocean inside during the week. The lobster tanks house 3-4 pound ones! The grouper creole is superior! Susana is the best hostess! So friendly and helpful and in love with Playa Azul as well. What a great hideaway! I rarely return to places around the world, but this will be one for sure😊
