2016 zu unseren anderen 3 Anwesen hinzugefügt: Laura's Lookout, Barbara's Beach House und Sandy's Secret, die sich alle in unserer privaten Palmetto Beach Resort-Enklave befinden. Diese wirklich schöne Ergänzung ist geräumig und bietet Platz für 4 Gäste mit einem Futon im Wohnzimmer. Sie können das Kingsize-Bett in zwei Einzelbetten teilen, wenn Sie dies wünschen. Wir haben das Badezimmer so gebaut, dass es sowohl durch das Schlafzimmer als auch getrennt vom Wohnzimmer betreten werden kann. Diese Liegenschaft befindet sich unter Barbara's Beach House, nachdem Sandys und Laura so viel Erfolg hatten, dass wir beschlossen hatten, unter Barbara zu bauen. Denken Sie einfach an Ihre Darts! Wir haben einen Pool mit unseren anderen Gästen geteilt, aber das Beste, was wir gefunden haben, ist das riesige Dock, das wir gebaut haben. Es ist etwa 300 Meter vom Meer entfernt und hat neben den Seiten Sonnenbäder gebaut. Am Ende gibt es eine riesige Schwimmplattform und einen großen Palapa beschütze dich vor der Sonne. Wir haben einen Strand gebaut, an dem Sie sich auch mit einem Volleyballfeld aufhalten können, wenn Sie Lust haben! Das gesamte Dock, der Strand und die Pools sind mit Liegestühlen und komfortablen Matratzen ausgestattet. Wir haben den ganzen Tag über Mitarbeiter vor Ort und nachts einen Sicherheitsbeamten, um Ihre Sicherheit zu gewährleisten. Unsere Bürozeiten vor Ort sind von 9.00 Uhr bis 17.00 Uhr, so dass immer jemand zur Verfügung steht, um Ihnen bei Ihren Bedürfnissen zu helfen. Sie haben einen einfachen Zugang zur Beach Road, von der Sie entweder 5-10 Minuten mit dem Fahrrad oder 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt gelangen. Die Lage ist jedoch ruhig und abgeschieden. ein bisschen vom alten Caye Caulker !!! Michael kann Sie Fahrräder für $ 5 pro Tag ausleihen oder einen Golfwagen arrangieren, wenn Sie das Bedürfnis haben. Ich persönlich bin der Meinung, dass Fahrräder der beste Weg sind, sich abhängig von Ihrem Alter fortzubewegen !!

Our experience here was absolutely fabulous with one exception. The unit we stayed had another unit above it. No fault of the people staying there but it sounded as if a whole football team was practicing up there and perhaps going to come through the roof. There seems to be very little insulation between the upper and lower units. Just a heads up for others that f this is the type of thing that can take a wonderful property and stay and the rn t into not such a great experience. It was annoying at times but we didn’t spend enough time in the unit for it to cause us any distress. We would definitely return!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Palmetto Beach cottage. It was very clean & had everything we needed. It was also a large spacious area! The large bottles of water were a perk. Being so close to the lovely pool & amazingly long dock was fabulous!
Tim & Debbie were ALWAYS prompt with replying to any questions we had prior to our trip.
We would definitely go back in a heart beat!

Overall great property .Beautifully maintained grounds. Easy communication with owners. Comfy beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Awesome dock. As stated in previous reviews, the cottage is quite dark but that also helps keep it cool during the day. The walls are a little on the thin side and unfortunately the family upstairs were heavy walkers. We downloaded sound machines on our phone to help drown out the nighttime noise. Even with that slight issue I would definitely stay there again.

My wife and I stayed here for a week and we absolutely loved it. We felt safe and secure and had many conveniences at our fingertips. There’s a restaurant 10 steps from the front door of this cottage and extra water and Belikin (for purchase) on request! The cottage was clean and maintained and had a lot of privacy with the privacy shades you can draw down. You have to walk around the back of the cottage to get to the pool but who cares! It was fantastic and we would stay here again and again. Town is a short bike ride away and the nearest grocery store is maybe a three minute bike ride. We loved the pier with the loungers and even saw sting rays swimming around the pier our first morning. There’s a lot of Sargasssum (looks like a seaweed/algae) floating in the sea right now and it has an odor but that’s the whole island, not the fault of location or anything else. Only complaint was that it’s very close to the island airport and planes start taking off and landing a little on the early side so it will wake you. No big deal to us, though. Overall, stay here! It’s, affordable, clean and so fantastic!

The Palmetto cottage was lovely. Clean, modern, reasonably stocked with the basics. Very organized setup and conscientious communication ahead of arrival. It's a short (15min) walk to the main drag of Caye Caulker but this also makes the area a bit quieter. Would recommend.

All the staff was a delight to be around and very friendly and hard workers. I will defiantly stay with them again. The location is just far enough from village to be peaceful; but to far to be able to get to restaurants and be part of the activities going on with the island. The office staff will set you up with any attractions you are interested in and you will be picked up by boat on pier or by taxi at your villa.

We stayed at the Palmetto Cottage in Caye Caulker and it was perfect! We have 2 small children and the place had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked. Plenty of towels and bedding and the quality of everything was great. The staff on location was so nice. Although the place does not have a washer, they did laundry for us anyway so we had clean clothes for the return trip ;) They also helped get the right size bikes for our kids and adjusted for their heights so we could ride bikes all week. We will be back!

Perfect introduction to Belize
My husband and I stayed here as our first stop in Belize. It is very close to the airport, clean, the AC is a lifesaver, and the apartment had all we could need. The pool was lovely and my husband loved the dock. Staff suggested we visit the Pelican Sunset bar and it was our favorite go to spot. Overall a great stay.

Arrived at property which is only several minutes walk from the Caye Caulker airport. Check in was a breeze, room was spacious and clean. Perfect for two people. Had a small kitchen, AC. Palmetto Garden had everything we needed for our family during our stay. It is in a quiet part of the Caye but a short walk from all the action! We really enjoyed spending time in the lounge chairs on the dock, no sand flies!! There’s steps off the end of the dock so easy access for a quick swim and or snorkel. We were rewarded our last day when a ray swam by while we were on the dock we also saw a dolphin jump one morning! Beautiful spot to watch the sunrise. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a well stocked kitchen. We didn’t spend much time in the pool other than the odd dip, but it was super clean as well.

Property was nicely appointed but very dark. Access to pier was great. Location quiet but easy walk to restaurants and activities. Infrastructure on Caye Caulker broke down and management was not very attentive or helpful. We managed but this definitely colored our experience.

Quiet and clean
Property owner has great communication. Enjoyed our stay in this quiet area of Caye Caulker. The unit was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Only had one issue which was being stranded at the water taxi dock waiting for the promised taxi to take us to the property (management confirmed via email but did not follow through) we quickly got over it and enjoyed our vacation.

Quaint and quiet!
Loved our stay at Palmetto Beach Cottage. We stayed in the lower unit which was spacious, cool and well equipped. The bed is VERY comfortable! I would recommend for this reason only. The dock and swimming pool were great with comfortable loungers, very refreshing. The location is on the “outskirts” of town but don’t shy away for that reason. The serenity is worth it. You can get anywhere on the island in under 10 minutes on la bike, which is a fun way to explore. We loved Caye Caulker and Palmetto Beach Cottages. Ciecie is very helpful... she drove us in to town on our first night on a golf cart and recommended several places to grab supper and groceries. She also rented us our bikes.

Fantastic Time!
We had a wonderful experience staying with Michael. The place was exactly as expected, a little tight for four adults but again, as we expected. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and you couldn’t even tell it was two twin beds pushed together. The futon in the living room was super comfortable for what it was, much better than expected. We had new towels, both bath and beach, whenever needed, and getting new water for the room was very easy. They were very accommodating to our needs. The room was also very clean when we arrived and the AC worked great. It was so nice to come back after a day in the sun to a nice cold room.
We rented bikes for the entire stay and that was definitely necessary. We used them constantly to go back and forth between our room and town. This was close enough to town to be easy to get to on a bike and far enough to escape the noise and majority of other tourists.
We spent a lot of our time out on the dock as the chairs were really comfy and it was easy to get in and out of the water there. We enjoyed hanging out there during the day and were happy to have a quiet place to hang out. We also went out on the dock most nights and there was security around at night.
We overall really enjoyed the island and can’t wait to go back. We highly recommend checking out Wish Willy’s for dinner, this was everyone’s favorite place to eat by far. We also enjoyed Dee D’s and Belizean Flavas for dinner. For lunch we ate food from people on the street and it was always good. We took snorkel tours with Scuba Sensation, Raggamuffin Tours and Carlos. We had a great experience with all three.
We will definitely be back some time in the future!

Wanna get away?
This cottage within sight of the Caribbean Sea and beach was a great location to headquarter on Caye Caulker. We did plenty of walking to shops and restaurants/bars. No cars made it relaxing, and the rum punch was even better when knowing you didn't have to drive anywhere! The people of Belize are great, and the property managers were available to tend to your every need. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Property was accurately described and the managers were very helpful. They had arranged for a taxi cart to meet us at the San Pedro Water Taxi dock and transport us and our baggage to the front door of the condo. The condo was very clean and well equipped. The private dock was a very comfortable place to sit and relax on the water. Restaurants and shops are within a short walking distance. We enjoyed dining at The Pelican, a very nice Italian place, and the outside upper deck overlooking the ocean at the Magic Grill. We went on a snorkeling trip with French Angel Expeditions. The condo was a nice place to come home to after a fun filled day on Caye Caulker. We will definitely be back again. Thank you for everything.

The property was beautiful, safe and perfect for our 2 children and us.
We loved riding bikes, sitting on our porch in the evening, and embracing the motto of the island “go slow”. Michael, Cece and the whole staff were kind, courteous, and helpful. We can’t wait to go back and would stay at the Paletto house in a heartbeat.
