La distancia, si quieres estar solo en el centro de San Pedro está a 40 minutos aprox, pero si quieres ir a secreat beach si te queda muy bien.

Was great to be in the same apartment building with travel mates. Pool and dock were great! The furnishings were comfortable and stylish, The sectional couch on the balcony was great! Our buddies were envious, ha ha.

There seemed to be plumbing issues with the building. The master bath on the back bedroom (nearest the entry door to the condo) had a slight sewer smell from the day we checked in. It was only present in the bathroom, but present nonetheless.

Property is located right on the beach and the views are amazing. Unit comes with all the kitchen items you could need and lots of extra sheets, towels, and blankets. Staff on site keeping the pool and beach maintained were very nice. Unit is maintained by Vacasa which has its own concierge service. Gineli was amazing at answering our questions and helping us to book tickets to the water ferry and a taxi to/from the airport (thanks Tito for being an amazing taxi driver who even gave us a bit of a tour). Gineli was honestly my favorite part of this vacation.

The unit appears a little unfinished with missing paint and even exposed drywall in several spots. While we saw some of that in the pictures before we booked, we had hoped it would be completed/corrected before we got there.

The villa was exactly as described. It was right on the beach with an amazing view of the ocean. The pool was clean, clear, and refreshing. The beach and property were well maintained. The pier was amazing! The beach was beautiful and clean. The water was warm, calm, and shallow, perfect for our needs. We didn't utilize the kayaks, but appreciated that they were available. Our check-in and check-out process was super easy. Everything was as anticipated. Communication with the host was easy and timely. There was a little restaurant on the beach within walking distance that had amazing food and friendly atmosphere.

The location was a little farther from town than I anticipated given the condition of the roads, however, we came to enjoy the quiet aspect of being farther north.

I am having to write a poor review due to the shocking reality that the road to this hotel is full of potholes, juggernaughts carrying concrete and deep ravines. To travel here in the golf cart was not safe, steady or acceptable. The road is not tarmaced - of course the company does not tell you this but you realise it when you are trying to make the trip. Having had an operation last year this road should have had a warning sign on it - not fit for people with any disabilities or travelling solo. It was dangerous and you would not be able to travel in the evening because its too dark and there are NO lights on that road. A taxi would cost $100 so there is no value in the hotel-see below for my dispute for a refund.

When I realised I could no longer proceed on this road I rang the hotel and the person in charge of the keys Lourdes told me she understood, not to worry and that a refund would not be immediate but would take a few days. She understood and I wondered how many previous people had experienced the same thing. These suites are north of San Pedro on a dark road once you get out of the town. I did not realise that I would be in for a huge dispute whereby booking.com, Lourdes had to wrangle with the management who failed to return my money. I NEVER received any service. I took it the credit card company who also have not gained a satisfactory outcome for me because they failed to ring me up to find out what really happened. They have now re-opened the case. Booking.com failed to act on my behalf; the management company were keen to take ALL of my money. Nothing in description suggests access could be difficult-they just failed to mention it. That evening they raised the price of that suite to £878 for 4 nights deliberately because they knew that 1. no one was going to get there in the dark to use the suite 2. they didnt need any more customers because they had got their money from me so they inflated the price so no body would book. Cunning and sly management. Therefore, as a world traveller I would say this is a no go for most of the tourists and that includes families travelling with kids - they would not be able to take the dangerous roads in which this hotel is on.
