2nd time in the house and still our favorite!!+

This is our second year renting and the location and Beach are great! The cottage is clean and super cute! My grandson thinks I live there!

The access to the beach was great but the unit itself is in need of some work. The A/C runs constantly and doesn't cool the entire house. Bedrooms are warm and we found the beds uncomfortable. All in all it was a miss for us.

Cozy place, clean, convenient, close to the beach. Private parking, restaurants near by. Easy check-in and Adrienne, our host, was very helpful.

Our cottage was fantastic. It’s all one level and big. Easy walk to beach for people who struggle through sand. Spectacular views!! Already planning next trip here!!

The cottage was cute, clean, spacious and so close to the beach it was fantastic! Literally 50 steps to the sand. Hosts were very helpful when we had a couple questions. We would stay here again and again!

The cottage was cute, comfortable, and clean. It was also quite noisy with the street and sidewalk traffic. ( Earplugs needed) The code was not working at check in, so this was a bit stressful after a long travel day, however the property manager realized she forgot to reset it, and it was resolved after about 30 minutes. We finally got into the cottage after all the grocery stores were closed in the area. We were hoping to find a few spare coffee pods, or spare coffee grounds to have coffee to wake up to. (none) The kitchen was lacking some basics like coffee, cooking oil, or spices. This surprised us, as this was the first VRBO after many stays that didn’t have a few of these basic bonuses in the kitchen. The property manager brought a few coffee pods over when she did the lock reset! We sure appreciated this! After a few initial disappointments, we enjoyed our stay! The Gulf Breeze Inn has a great King bed, cozy living room area, plenty of spare bedding, and we quickly Settled in to enjoying the rest of our stay just steps away from the beach! We loved the area, and sunsets! The cottage stay was pleasant!

We enjoyed our time at this rental. Beach is right there. Roomy cottage. Street noise but we got used to it. Communication was good with the property manager Adrien. Propane outside grille worked fine. We used it several times. Nearby restaurants. Biking on off streets was nice. We drove to Pinellas Trail which goes from St. Pete to Dunedin if you want long rides. Bathroom is a small but adequate. Parking for one car but nearby parking available. AC works well. Beds were comfy. Many TV channel options. All in all we would be happy to rent the cottage again.

Probably was comfy cozy close to Everywhere we wanted to go I would stay there again in a heartbeat We stay on the West Coast of Florida five or six times a year at different rentals this compares favorably and above most If there was any drawback at all it would be nice to have a few more bath towels That would be the only negative thing I could say about it Great location great price very easy access to the beach Thanks To our host for having us much appreciated

This property was just as described. Super cute cottage just a short walk to the beach. The cottage had all the essentials you would need for a relaxing vacation. Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It’s very spacious and close to the beach. The beach was quiet and not crowded. Shopping was convenient as well. Overall, we were very pleased with the place but there are a few things to be aware of. The kitchen is small but for a short stay worked fine. The laundry is in a shed behind the main units which in the posting said common area. We would’ve liked it to be inside the unit but for a short stay, it worked out well. Parking is limited to one vehicle although there is public parking for beach access. We had 2 vehicles and just parked one in the public access space and didn’t move it, only driving the vehicle parked in the cottages designated space. It worked out fine. With all that being said, we would recommend the cottage and will likely stay there again. 😊

Definitely worth it

The place is just a few steps from the beach. The house is very clean. They provided us with beach chairs and umbrellas. Adrienne was able to approve of us doing a late check out.

we love the cottage. The house was very clean. it was easy to find. the neighbors were really respectful. it was quiet. The house was perfect ! .We had no issues and the air conditioner was really good. The owner and the property manager are extremely friendly. both of them were very helpful and easy to work with. we will definitely come by and stay again.

This place was exactly what we hoped for and more. The cottage was perfect size for a family of three. Good size kids room with queen size bed and a cute day bed. Master bedroom with plenty of room and great closet space. Bathroom perfect size and nicely decorated. Huge family room with dining area. If that was the only part of our stay that would have been great but it wasnt!! 100yds from our cottage was beach access plus great local eateries within 3 min walks was the icing on the cake. Definitely told friends about this place and my wife and I are already planning a return trip!!!

The place was exactly as described. Plenty of space and storage. Our entire visit was sunny but if it had rained, we would have been just as comfortable indoors. Easy to cook. Laundry was wonderful to have. And even being right on the main road, it wasn't too loud and the beach was never very crowded! Beautiful beach. Definitely recommend this location for family, friends...anyone! Close to plenty of marinas and other activities. Can't wait to come back!!

This cottage is wonderful. It was a perfect location. The pictures are accurate. The owner and on-site manager were easy to work with, and checked in to see if we needed anything.

It’s hard to give the proper review for this property because the good and bad are drastically different, but realistically I would give it a 3.5 based on our experience. We are frequent VRBO-ers so we really notice when owners go above and beyond. Unfortunately for this one, location was the only perk and this properties description could use a more accurate update. We had hoped it would be fine after reading many happy reviews, but we were disappointed we didn’t opt for another place. Photos of the outside seating area a misconceiving as this area is actually shared space in front of the apartment units. And because pictured “tiki style patio” is in front of their space, those residents typically take over the space. We quickly made friends with that unit’s guest, but luck isn’t always so. Unfortunately, the patio in the breezeway of the cottage is not enjoyable at all. There is a concrete picnic style table, the area is in the shade all day, and landscaping is unkept. This space could be beautiful and made to accommodate the cottage guests in a semi-private outdoor space but it is neglected. The back patio space is even more neglected and in front of the outdoor laundry closet. Sadly, the windows have not been updated or improved as other reviewers have commented. Not only is the street noise really bad but the AC unit rattles right outside your window. Windows are broken and stuck half closed, which made me nervous with my kids in the other room. The place needs a deep cleaning, cooking pans need to be replaced, and the bathroom is not renovated at all. Help even your older kids get the shower going, the water is scalding hot if they do it wrong. Yes, being right next to the beach was great for snacks and restroom breaks so thankfully the weather was nice and we spent all our time there. The site manager is very friendly and accommodating. We visit often and love this beach and area, but we will opt to spend just a little more on accommodations next time.

Loved this location! Myself and my 86 yr old mother enjoyed this property for a month. Location to the beach was everything! We could walk the beach daily with no streets to cross. The owner and property manager were both very responsive to a few issues we had in the beginning, but everything ended up being PEFFECT! Highly recommend Gulf Breeze Inn.

This house was perfect for a week of relaxing. The beach is just a few steps away from the back door. The house was super clean and ready for us to enjoy.

Great location close to the beach. Comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. The only drawback is the noise from the main road.

Very loud by the road for sleeping (kids) didn’t have some kitchen things I would have hoped but we managed. Location to the beach was awesome!

We loved the cottage’s close proximity to the beach. We caught every sunrise and every sunset. We loved that the cottage provided beach chairs, coolers, toys, and towels. We also utilized the grill and patio. The cottage was perfect for our family vacation and we had a wonderful time.

This two bedroom cottage was everything I wanted for my annual retreat. The kitchen was updated and excellently equipped. Excellent location for conveniently walking on the beach. The property manager was very helpful.

Really cute cottage very close to the beach with a very short and easy drive to Clearwater beach. Everything was exactly as described. Checking out at 10 was a challenge, and although I had known that at booking, I did not know that I would need to strip the beds (which have ton of pillows that have cases and protectors- both are very appreciated but time consuming for this process), and wash all the dishes. In my experience if these tasks are requested, the check or time is a bit later.

Absolutely loved the proximity to the beach, which was beautiful. The cottage was perfect for us and the property manager Adrienne couldn't have been any nicer. Didn't rent a car and used the PSTA bus/shuttle to get around. Just make sure you don't miss the one you want because you have to wait another 30 minutes. Was the best relaxing vacation.

The only way you can be closer to the beach would be if you are willing to pay big bucks for a property. So, trust me, this is one of the very few cottages located literally steps from the water, at a VERY reasonable price. The property is nicely equipped, extremely clean, well equipped and with a TV set in each room. Frankly, one could not ask for more. There are many good restaurants close by and, although there is a little bit of noise coming from the cars on Gulf Blvd. it was not a big deal. Betty, the owner, and Adrienne, the property manager, were absolutely proactive when needed. For all the above reasons, we have already booked another week next month. You will not regret staying here.
