Die Lage bietet Privatsphäre und Abgeschiedenheit, ist aber nur eine kurze Autofahrt von der Innenstadt sowie dem Fegefeuer entfernt. Die Dalton Ranch und die Trimble Hot Springs liegen weniger als 5 km von der Residenz entfernt.

Enjoyed our stay. The home just needs additional bath linens (wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels). We were a party of 4 and had to wash bath linens every day so that we had clean bath linens.

The property was amazing. Everything was as advertised except for a couple things: we couldn't get the A/C to work properly, and the lack of clear instructions was frustrating. As a result, we had 3 hot nights. Also, the amenities (shampoo, etc) were not there, and we had to ask the management company for them. They brought 1 set when we told them there were 3 of us (3 men on a business trip, so we were not sharing). One last thing - there are no extra sheets and our sheets needed replacing, so I had to wash them before sleeping. I emailed these issues to the owner/management company, and we were taken care of. I will give them another chance because the property itself was awesome.

We loved staying in this quiet area and in your beautiful home. The location was perfect and hearing the train whistles were one of the the highlights of our trip. We had an issue the night we arrived, but the property manager responded very promptly and fixed the issue. My only suggestion would be more window coverings in the master bathroom. Even though, there is forest behind the home, I would have preferred more privacy. Other than that, the home was clean, beautiful and had everything we needed.

The first sign I knew this house was going to be fabulous is the organization of the management company. The directions and entry to the house were spot on; meaning the garage door worked and the code to get the key also worked. The management company also checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was okay. We entered through the bunk room and I was already impressed before going upstairs to the main living area. The house is beautiful and spotless. The owners seem to travel a lot as evidenced by the fun family pictures and the custom made Moroccan dining table (what a piece of beautiful art!). The house is truly as beautiful as the pictures show...no false advertising here! There are so many nice touches such as coffee, tea, throw blankets, wall heaters, games, plenty of extra pillows and blankets. laundry room with soap, well stocked kitchen with pots, pans, cutlery, cooking tools, etc. We were treated to sights of deer, turkey hens, very healthy coyotes, and the steam engine train from Durango. My only regret to the house was I had to leave! Oh, I highly recommend it 😁

We truly enjoyed our stay! There was snow on the ground and mule deers out the kitchen window. Location was convenient to many activities. The heated tile floor made the living space cozy and inviting. Lovely home!

Very pretty views and convenient location to Durango and access to San Juan Forest. The house has hard water and kitchen utensils needed extra cleaning and does need a water softener. the house was dusty so if a cleaner person you will need to do some minor pick up but the Vacuum didn’t work. Animals on roof and in attic or walls were loud. Couldn’t use master bathroom tub as wouldn’t drain. We are shower people so not really a problem just for adding for information purposes. House was comfortable for everyone with great views.

First time renting with Premier. We usually vacation with VRBO or Airbnb. From now on, I will check Premier first. The cabin was bigger and more spacious then the written description. It was a little hard to find from google maps. The house was clean, the beds were great. We were able to park a car in the garage which helped as we went skiing at purgatory resort most day and we had a warm charm to get into. The fire place was amazing. Plenty of dried wood. The oversized windows were perfect to watch the snow fall. Part of the family went snow shoeing up at Lime Creek a few times too both Purgatory and Lime Creek were only 15-20 mins up the mountain. We celebrated Christmas up there. It was perfect. Two things, which is why would use Premier again, the master bedroom had significant dust for some reason, and we only had one dish towel in the kitchen which was dirty, and the dish washer wouldn’t turn on, my wife called Premier, and that very same day, they sent someone up to the cabin with new dish towels, they sent a Maintenence man up to look at the dishwasher. The service was immediate, the company really want to be the premier vacation rental business and wants your business back again and again. I will definitely use the again when we look for vacation rentals

The kitchen is set up so perfect, the spacious comfy living room was perfect spot to gather. We had beautiful weather, and were able to enjoy the outdoors, and access to easy hikes nearby. Shortened stay
This property is beautiful. And if it weren’t for the mice, we would have stayed the three nights we booked. There were mouse droppings all over the kitchen and we saw two mice running through the kitchen.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed in the property, once in the summer and once in the winter. The House is very nice and it's location is great for access to Durango and Purgatory. it is a bit secluded and has a true mountain cabin feel with wonderful views. The only downsides are as follows:The internet is a bit slow, it is ok for watching movies but as 2-3 people on our trip were working and doing online school, I ended up having to tether to my phone to get a decent internet speed. The driveway is steep, during the summer this isn't too big of a deal, but during winter this could present an issue if you have a 2wd car. Also as the snow melts the base of the driveway gets muddy, it needs a new load of gravel .Lastly nit picky items, there were 3 bathrooms and only 4 rolls of toilet paper and1 roll of paper towels, we ended up buying more for our stay. The Microwave is also oddly small for the kitchen. This is a great property and like any others it has a few downsides but it is well worth the stay.

Wonderful Property!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful time at ths property. The view was gorgeous, so relaxing to watch the sun hit the cliffs. Proximity to Durango was perfect. Definitley felt secluded, but very close to the city, with a beautiful drive that could be easily done multiple times a day. House is in great shape, very clean will all amenities. The floorplan is a great set up for teens to feel like they have their own space. Windows with beautiful views everywhere. We saw a flock of wild turkeys walk right outside the kitchen window, and deer out the front.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in this wonderful property. Spacious, well appointed and felt so remote, though only a few miles from Durango. Love the layout of the property. It was just the two of this time, though another couple can easily stay in other wing of the home and everyone have great privacy. The downstairs bunkroom is perfect for kiddo's. Great House - very clean and well cared for
I have stayed in many VRBO rentals before and this one was definitely the best. So many of the places I have rented in the past look great in the pictures, but show a lot of wear when I get there (stained area rugs, worn furniture, etc). This place was in great shape and very well kept. Either they have renters that treat the property very well or they are vigilant with keeping the place maintained - either way, I was very pleased.
The location was great - convenient to Durango but far enough out of town where we felt like we were in the wilderness. Kitchen had everything we needed and the layout was great for privacy. All three bedrooms are in different parts of the house which allowed us each to have our own space. Would definitely rent this place again!

We are a family of 7 (ages 16-53) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The home was clean and spacious and the views were beautiful! We even saw deer in the back yard in the mornings. The kitchen has all you need for cooking. The only thing we needed but couldn't find was a pizza cutter. We just used an old fashioned knife. Lol. We used the grill a couple of times and it worked perfectly. The view from the outdoor kitchen area is beautiful and the weather was perfect for us to sit out there morning and evening and enjoy. My daughter sat outside on the upper balcony each morning and enjoyed her morning coffee. It's in a great location for the surrounding area. It's about 9 miles outside of Durango, 14 miles from Purgatory, and Silverton and Ouray are just past that. We visited them all and all are beautiful! We did part of the Animas River Trail hike, rafted in Durango and took a jeep tour in Ouray, which was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, the train from Durango to Silverton and Purgagory Ski Resort were both still closed due to Covid but we did drive to both and explore. There are lots of great places to eat nearby as well, although we usually cooked in for breakfast and dinner. James Ranch is just a mile or so down the road. We had dinner there one evening and it was great farm to table fare! They also have goats you can pet and a beautiful property. We even drove about 3 miles further up CR 201 one evening. The views from up there are beautiful as well. It's not paved after a bit and has some big dropoffs but has several good places to turn around. Worth the visit! Overall, we had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. We would stay here again!
