Good location to down town area.
Little older but that’s not a huge concern.

The location
Room had an awful odor. Wasn’t cleaned properly. Bathroom fixtures needed repair or replaced. Tub drain needed to be snaked.

Great location, view from the room was really nice. Food from the restaurant was good but pricey and they were understaffed. Reservation desk employees were very pleasant and helpful.
Price of food service was high.

Nice river views and balconies. Big rooms! Dog friendly! good on-site pool and Restaurants/bar.
$12.00 for parking at the hotel. This is unreasonable.

Food was pretty good. I liked having the lounge. I liked it was walking distance to the train.
It just feels like it needs a refresh. Sorta dark/dingy. Noisy room. The fabrics all need replaced-like the booths, curtains, chairs

Ice and water machines were great along with location of hotel.
The room was terribly hot with no air conditioning and the bathroom shower was growing Black Mold!! The staff seemed to not care very much!

Location on the Animas River was great. Easy walk into downtown Durango. Had a glass of wine at the outdoor bar. Nice seating by the River.
Hotel was very dated but it was clean. Our tub drain didn’t drain well and the toilet didn’t flush well. Just seemed tired. If Hilton gave it a little love and updated the rooms, it would be stellar.

The location was good.
It was expensive and the hotel had an odd layout. The rooms were on the small side

Justin and Tom were exceptionally helpful and made sure we were taken care of properly. Our original room was smokey so they were moving us when an altercation with another client who was clearly intoxicated was occurring while we were at the desk. They were so apologetic and wanted us to be in a good room. They moved us and the new room next door had a very large barking dog in it. So I mentioned that to them and again they were very helpful and accommodating. Excellent staff. I am not a fan of having dogs at a hotel I am staying at and will look at other hotels for future reservations. I would suggest having dedicated rooms for dogs with their people - some folks are allergic and do not want to be in a room where dogs have been - sometimes you can’t get the dog smell out. All this after being a loyal Hilton member for over 30 years.
Dogs should not be in hotel rooms unless there are specifically dedicated rooms for them. I personally like dogs but do not want to be in a room that smells like them. There are a lot of people allergic.

Tom at the Front Desk was a breath of fresh air. We checked in after a long day of traveling and he made us feel welcomed.
We set up a 4am wakeup call that never happened.

The breakfast meal plan was such a good deal and the staff were so friendly. Loved the warm cookies and Beer BINGO night! But the BEST part was the river, mountain, bridge view from Room 218.
Our sliding closet doors kept coming off track which was aggravating. Also our tub didn't drain properly.

Location is great that is why we like to stay there
The hotel accommodates dogs, I am allergic to dogs, when we were put in a room that had a dog (bowl and mat were left in the room); we asked if we could move to a room that doesn’t have dogs they moved us to a “purified room” which as I found out when we checked out is an upgrade! I don’t understand why I have to pay more, I don’t have a dog! Not to mention the air purifier was a little loud so we turned it off, when we returned to the room later in the day it stunk! I plan to contact hotel management myself as I am a Hilton Honors member.

It is very close to the train station.
Bad smell in the hallways and inside the room. Fixtures are old, the tub in the suite room is discolored and has lots of scratches, did not look clean.
