Direkt am Prospect Bay gelegen, wurde dieses süße kleine Cottage direkt am Meer renoviert und wartet darauf, dass Sie schreiben, schwimmen, Kajak fahren, Kanu fahren oder einfach nur entspannen. Günstig 25 Minuten in die Innenstadt von Halifax, 25 Minuten, um Peggys Cove, nur 10 Minuten Tour und Verleih, und 10 Minuten vom beliebten atemberaubenden Wanderweg zum Kajak. Auch zentral zu verschiedenen anderen Nova Scotia Attraktionen. Offenes Konzept Küche / Wohnbereich. Schlafzimmer im Erdgeschoss hat ¾ Bett und geräumige Loft für 3 (Doppelbett und zwei Einzelbetten auf der anderen Seite der für jüngere Kind versteckt). Die voll ausgestattete Küche verfügt über einen 4-Flammen-Propan-Herd, einen Umluftofen, eine Mikrowelle und einen großen Kühlschrank. Kein Kabel-TV, aber WIFI und DVD-Player mit einer Auswahl an Filmen. Sauber und komfortabel - sowie alles, was Sie für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigen, schreiben oder persönlichen Rückzug oder ein Basislager für einen Sightseeing-Urlaub von Nova Scotia. Oceanside Deck hat Tisch und Stühle für Morgenkaffee oder Abendessen. Hinterdeck hat Propan BBQ. Rauchen im Freien nur bitte. This is a wonderful little cottage. It is very neat and sits on the beautiful bay. The entire reservation process was super easy. Marcia was great to work with and responded quickly to communications. We will be back for a longer stay.

We had such a great stay! The cottage and location are ideal. Our kids explored the shore and found ocean treasures and us parents enjoyed the view and serenity. Not too far from the city and we got the quintessential East Coast experience. Host was a pleasure to deal with!

Clean, comfortable, well-appointed? Yep. But this place is much much more.
My wife and I arrived after two weeks on the road, and didn’t really leave. Breakfast, lunch and dinner in. Outdoor fires in the evening. Marathon Trivial Pursuit games while listening to the great music collection, and watching the tides ebb and flow. We barely had time to read!
This is the family cottage on the water your family never managed to have.

My daughter and I had a very comfortable 5-night stay at the cottage. It's in a beautiful location right on the water - so quiet and peaceful. The host was friendly and responsive to questions. We would definitely stay again.

What an incredible property right on the water. Cottage was very clean, fully stocked and beds were very comfortable. Our little guy loved playing outside on the deck and watching the water. Nice and close to town to grab anything you need. Marcia is a great host. Highly recommend!

This cottage had everything we ever needed. And the view was gorgeous! A great location away from Halifax. But close enough that you could easily go to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Lunenburg.

My wife and I stayed at Marcia’s place for 5 nights and could not have been happier! The place was very comfortable, clean, and provided us with beautiful views & lots of fun sitting around the bonfire at night. We had no issues whatsoever, and Marcia was nice enough to check in on us to make sure everything was going smoothly. The best part was that the location was close to Peggy’s Coast, Lunenberg, Halifax, and Dartmouth - we even did a small road trip up to Burntcoat Park to walk on the ocean floor!
Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to enjoy some rest & relaxation, and the beauty of what Nova Scotia has to offer.

Beautiful area and very peaceful. driving distance to Halifax Harbor and Peggy's cove. About an hour to Mahone Bay and Lunenburg. Cottage very clean and quaint, fully equipped, right on the water. Marcia the host, very kind and friendly.

We loved our week-long stay at this beautiful little cottage. Marcia’s attention to detail and smart utilization of the space creates a comfortable, peaceful spot just perfect for a couple or small family.
I miss having my morning tea at the water with visits from the cove’s local crane (or is it a heron?) and again by the fire to ward off the evening fog’s gentle chill.
For now, I’ll look forward to the day we return.

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It has all the essentials and the decor is adorable. So much little knickknacks to look at. The property and views are just breathe taking. Marcia the host is so helpful and just an amazing person to talk to. We will definitely be back. Nova Scotia has our hearts!

Very cozy little cottage on the ocean and close to Halifax, Lunenburg and Peggy’s cove. Cottage has EVERYTHING you need and the views are great. If you like privacy, this is it. The Property Manager was very helpful as we had never been in area.

This little cottage was the perfect ending to our east coast vacation. Short and scenic drive to Lunenberg, Mahone Bay, Peggy’s Cove, Halifax, and so much more. The cottage had everything we needed, and the outside patio/fire pit area is stunning. We were fortunate to have some beautiful weather and spent all of our ‘home’ time outside watching the bay. Everything was perfect! The location was ideal right on the water, quaint cottage that was well equipped and Marcia and John were very helpful in every way. The bed was comfy and the shower had good pressure. We don’t want to leave but we will be back!

We all loved this cozy and well appointed “cottage”. Water view from the front room, second floor setting area and outdoor patio were all amazing. Location great - close to both Halifax and Peggy’s Cove and yet very quiet.

Coastal cottage was charming. It's a sweet cottage with a very comfortable layout with a bedroom downstairs and a bed in the loft. The kitchen was more complete than expected with a full stove and very well equipped. The location feels very private overlooking the cove. It's also convenient for nearby hikes, kayak rentals and day trips to Peggy's Cove, and the Bay of Fundy. Marcia has made this a cozy, charmer. Everyone we meet was so nice. Thank you.

Amazingly unique and charming place
We absolutely loved our stay. The host was very attentive to all of our requests and everything was better than we even hoped. The location is very quiet and the cottage was very well equipped. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again. While staying here please go and eat at Shawn’s Landing. It is the greatest food we had.

Amazing House and View, Amazing Host
Where do we start ? With Marcia of course, what a wonderful host, we just wanted to wrap her up and bring her home and live next door to her forever. And John as well, funny, helpful when needed, just a nice guy. The house was great, fantastic view just out the back door on the 'terrace'. A sweet, quiet, comfortable little house, everything you need to relax and soak in the sane Canadian air. Well-located to explore the various highlights of Nova Scotia. Two small markets nearby, Halifax in less than 30 minutes. Oh, and Marcia. Did I mention Marcia ? Friendly, helpful, unobtrusive, a delight to talk with, a genuine good soul. From car batteries to surprise boat rides (Oh. My. God.) to rappie pie recipes (must get an old hen soon) to the High Head trail. Thanks for the books, Marcia, thanks for the view, thanks for a wonderful two weeks, and as Mr Rogers used to say, thanks for just being you. TLDR, we loved it all !

Great stay at the little cottage by the water. Loved our evening fires and morning coffee by the water. Nice and central for day trips and hikes. Marcia and John are wonderful hosts that took great care of our needs. Well stocked for preparing meals in the cute kitchen.

Excellent spot and host!
This is such a cute, quant property with great attention to detail and needs. The unique decor is characteristic of the rich history of Nova Scotia and the surrounding area with all the modern amenities. The view over Prospect Bay is gorgeous, especially around the fire, with the moonlight reflecting off the water on cool evenings. This is a good central location for access to Halifax and Peggy's Cove (both approx. 1/2 hr -45 min drive). The NCC hiking trail, just minutes from the cottage, is great!!... with breathtaking views along the rugged, cliff -edged Atlantic coast...a must see!! We also went on a whale watch at the mouth of the Bay of Fundy (3.5 hrs drive but well worth it...followed a pod of 5 humpbacks just yards rom our Zodiac!!)
Our host Marcia was wonderful, offering any assistance we may need during our stay as she lives close to the cottage herself. We immediately felt at home, like family coming in for a visit!

Adorable little cottage!
This was our first trip out to Nova Scotia. The location of this cottage was perfect for travelling between Halifax and Peggy’s Cove Luenburg . The cottage is so cute! With everything you would ever need to enjoy your stay. The view being right on the Bay is wonderful! With a lovely sitting area and picnic table. So much wildlife right in front of you! Loved our stay in this cute cottage! Stayed with my husband and daughter, close to Halifax centre and Peggy’s cove, lots to do around the area! Enjoyed outdoor fires, the view and local restaurants! Marcia was a great host!

Lovely family getaway
What a peaceful location for a family get together! We thoroughly enjoyed the view of the water and sipping our morning coffee while watching the ducks. The fire pit was a great place to gather in the evening. This lovely cottage is well equipped and in a fabulous location.
