Spacious with a view
This penthouse is spacious with an amazing view. The pictures on the listing are accurate. The owner is very responsive to any needs, questions, or issues. We are a family of 4 (my children are adults now) and this was a great apartment for us all to have our own space, yet the family room area was large so we could spend time together in the common area. The store is an easy walk and has everything you will need for your stay. Pools are nice and clean. I highly recommend staying for a relaxing and fun vacation.

Perfect trip to San Jose del Cabo
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our baby moon. This penthouse condo is gorgeous. It’s walking distance to our favorite taco shop Lateral and we basically lived in the pools. The views are wonderful, we spent many hours on the balcony staring out at the ocean. I would recommend this place to anyone and cannot wait to return as soon as possible.

Quiet Relaxation and beautiful views!!
We LOVED our stay!! The view from the deck was beautiful!!! The spacious accommodations were great!! Quick walk to the beach for long beautiful beach walks morning and night.

There is NO pool side service at all!! You bring your own everything …..towels, drinks, snacks, music, etc

After Christmas family gathering
Where do I even begin? The McCormick’s penthouse in Cabo is absolutely everything and more. This was our first time as a family to Cabo. Robert and Susan were basically our personal concierge for what to do and see while in cabo. Their recommendations from dinner spots to the fun family festival in downtown San Jose blew our expectations. Their penthouse is lovely and spacious. Their view is amazing and the whole property is very laid back and family friendly. We will definitely be a guest again. Truly one of the best family trips we’ve enjoyed in a while. Comfortable space with excellent view
We enjoyed staying in Las mañananitas. The property is spacious and well equipped. My family was very comfortable and we enjoyed all the amenities including the swimming pool, the fitness room and the tennis court. There is commercial center within walking distance and also great restaurants nearby. We will defend consider staying again here when visiting San Jose del Cabo.

wonderful los cabos vacation stay
robert's penthouse condominium in las mananitas worked out perfectly for our three-generation family vacation. all the spaces were ample and comfortably appointed, the full-length balcony with views of the sea was a special feature, great for lunch al fresco, hanging out on the sofas, and reading and dozing on the chaises. the kids also liked climbing the spiral stairway to the rooftop space where they could run around and play. concerns from other reviewers of noise from the highway and other owners playing cops to the kids at the pool were unfounded. robert and the management office were extremely responsive in providing information, booking rides and responding to our concerns (our only complaint: it would have been nice if the condo had been inspected ahead of time. we arrived to a kitchen-sink leak and the a.c. out in one bedroom. robert and the management responded right away, but it took a week of repair people in the condo before the problems were fixed). the pools and beach were easily accessible great places for the kids. there were two great restaurants, a super supermercado and a playground just a block away, and with no wait, we could hop on an old school bus for a sixty cent ride into town. we didn't need a car. the office booked us rides at reasonable prices to and from the airport, to the swimmable beach at chileno and to the very special flora farms. all-in-all, a wonderful time.

Beautiful property with tons of amenities all within walking distance of many of the San Jose del Cabo town features. Our penthouse unit is spaceouse and was perfect for our whole family to spread out. Absolutely loved the enormous outdoor living space overlooking the pool and ocean in the distance. All the comforts of home. Some of the furniture, electronics and plumbing are starting to show some wear so would be nice to see those updated just a bit when we venture back in the not too distant future. We highly recommend the condo and also working with the owner Robert McCormick.

The condo was perfect for our trip of 3 families. It was very comfortable, giving us plenty of space with and incredible view. We had everything we could possibly need, and was within walking distance to the market and restaurants. Definitely felt like a home away from home. Absolutely the Perfect Family Accomodation
What a perfect location for my family of 4 kids, wife and even my sister stayed in the extra Master Suite. The pools were a kids dream and very peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for the high energy, disco beating DJ poolside - this is NOT that place thankfully. The owner was detailed in his restaurant and services recommendation and San Jose del Cabo is a real treat. Can't wait to get there again. The only downside I can think of is a bit of roadside noise so close to the highway but it was literally drowned out by the calming and constant crashing of the waves on the beach which was awesome to hear every evening from the open room balcony. Though many amenities within walking distance, we rented a vehicle and got around town and Cabo area just fine. The security at the Condo location was superb and never felt concerned...the people of SJDC are just fantastic and want visitors to have a pleasant experience. I highly recommend Robert and his beautiful Penthouse for large families as there is plenty of room and pool and beach side access for all.

Perfect Getaway!
We stayed here over President's weekend and really loved the location. The penthouse is very well and comfortably decorated and laid out and very spacious. We spent much time on the awesome balcony with comfortable outdoor furniture and kept the walls of sliding glass doors open pretty much at all times to enjoy the beautiful weather. There was a private balcony above but we never really ventured up there. The bedrooms & bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. The owner was so helpful and easy to work with, giving us great restaurant recommendations. We enjoyed playing tennis in the mornings (as long as you reserve the court the day before on the clipboard hung on the gate of the court!), had fun putting around on the putting green, and hopped around between the 3 beautiful pools/hot tubs. The property is low action and comfortably quiet, very different than what you would experience at a resort which is what we wanted. The beach area where it's located is populated with people walking on the beach which made it a fun activity. The wifi worked great, there's a washer/dryer, and a grill on the balcony.
The food in Cabo San Jose was phenomenal, we never had a bad meal! We also enjoyed the in-condo cooking duo that the owner had recommended and had a grocery service stock the condo before arriving. Great time, we would definitely stay here again!

A glorious time in paradise!
5 of us (me, my two married children and their spouses) stayed in this wonderful penthouse. Very relaxing. Our first time in San Jose Del Cabo and I liked it much more than Cabo San Lucas. The owner was really easy to work with and helped us out a lot in finding the right places to go. We never had a bad meal. Some of the best food anywhere. The property had tennis court, work out room, putting green and three pools. The beach was steps away. The condo was also very conveniently located. We rented a car and it was a very good decision. We hated to leave!

Great Place to Stay!
We stayed at the penthouse during the last part of February 2016. The pictures do provide an accurate sense of what it is like to be at the penthouse. However, they cannot fully express the beauty, comfort and relaxation we experienced during our stay.
The condo is very conveniently located close to the welcoming town of San Jose del Cabo. It is also near main roads if you wish to travel to Cabo San Lucas, Todos Santos or La Paz. If you prefer not to travel, the complex offers amenities that will meet your vacation needs – swimming, tennis, a gym and a spectacular beach that you can walk for miles. We used the well-equipped kitchen and barbeque to eat in some nights and went to nearby restaurants to enjoy excellent meals on others. The sound of the waves on the beach lulled us to sleep each night.
The staff was very friendly. They were available to assist with any concerns and were not the least bit intrusive. The complex is safe and secure and very well maintained. The penthouse is well appointed and has stunning views. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing. Our stay was carefree, relaxing and memorable. It was very hard to leave! We hope to return again and highly recommend this penthouse.

Large and Convienent Condo
This lovely Las Mananitas Condo has everything you could want for your vacation stay. The owner was so helpful in answering all of our questions prior to our arrival, and everything was spotless and so comfortable, including all the furniture, beds, and linens. The location in San Jose is perfect for transport and grocery proximity.
Every restaurant and the people were so easy to be around, it is nice that tourism is important. We used the owner's catering service on recommendation and were so pleasantly surprised.
The grounds are spacious and spotless, and the security is ever present. We had a wonderful time, and would return.
There are a few important points: if you need to be somewhere with a face to face concierge, this is not the location for you, all is done online.
The ground floor condo was robbed when we were there, cash and jewelry taken only, even with security, because the people didn't use the safe, but that can happen anywhere.
We had no tv-for 7 days, due to the cable being disconnected, and during New Year Bowl game times, although this couldn't be fixed, a small refund could have been offered.

The place to be
We just returned from Christmas week in this beautiful condo. We used the restaurant and caterer recommendations and everyone was excellent. We spent one day and evening in Cabo and decided San Jose is the place to be. As the flagship for a family reunion or as a place for an individual family, I would highly recommend it. The Ideal Place to Stay in Paradise!
Greetings, my family and I just got back from spending an unforgettable week in hands down the most amazing penthouse in all of San Jose del Cabo! The six of us relished every single minute we spent inside this spectacular ocean view condominium. We often travel, yet rarely find the opportunity to truly relax and disengage. This time however, we are able to fully immerse ourselves in the spirit of relaxation and tranquility.
There are absolutely no cons I can write about; it’s all well-earned pros. You will definitely fall in love with the place from the moment you walk in. We found this penthouse in pristine clean condition when we arrived. Cleanliness was also evident in every other aspect, especially in the towels and bedsheets which were made available to us. The three rooms were comfortably spacious. The kitchen appliances met our every need. Our favorite area was the balcony, especially the two couches on it. We enjoyed listening to the soothing sounds of the waves, as well as watching many breathtaking sunrises and sunsets from here.
Since we traveled during a relatively light tourist season; we had all three of “Las Mañanitas” open air pools exclusively to ourselves. This turned out to be a real treat! Additionally, the beautiful beach was within easy walking distance and it was absolutely uncrowded.
Las Mañanitas (and of course this penthouse) is the ideal place to stay if you really want to get the most out of both San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. We rented two cars and thus easily commuted back and forth (being that the distance is only 19 miles apart). Las Mañanitas is also centrically located from the premier San Jose del Cabo resorts, like for example “The One & Only Palmilla”, and “Cabo del Sol Golf Club”. We also enjoyed eating at nearby exquisite restaurants like “Pitahayas” and “Flora Farms”, they are definitely a must!
The property manager at “Las Mañanitas” was very friendly and readily able to answer all of our questions. The security guards were always courteous and professional. The owner is a great person! He was consistently easy to reach and showed constant consideration. Such to the extent that he even allowed my family a late check-out, which proved to be a major convenience because of our evening return flight.
Overall, I would highly recommend this unique penthouse to anyone and everyone who has ever considered and or is considering visiting Los Cabos. You will not be disappointed!

Beautiful resort and area!
Just returned from a relaxing week in Los Cabo. Ourselves and another couple rented the penthouse for 1 week. It is very spacious and roomy. Our favourite place was sitting on the two couches on the oversized balcony with the ocean crashing against the shoreline. We would get up every morning and watch the sunrise as well as watch the sun set in the evening while enjoying a glass of wine. The grounds are immaculate and I cannot stress how clean everything is kept. There is security around constantly so you feel safe yet not intrusive. There are lots of bad stories concerning Mexico but we have a good one. Our friend left his wallet in a cab we took to San Lucas. Since security had the license number and name of cab driver they were able to locate him. He had already reported finding the wallet and was returned to us the following morning. I would not hesitate to recommend this penthouse and lovely San Jose for a great vacation
