The location, right on the beach can't be beat. The property is old and in somewhat disrepair. The clientele is questionable. A lot of smoking on balconies which makes it hard to enjoy being on the rental balcony. The renter was very acco.modating, and responsive.

Unit is nice, though the building is in need of updating and the elevators are in terrible shape and almost too small for valet carts. Unit faces the ocean, but the tiki bar in front of the unit blocks view of the sunrise from the balcony. Shower needs to be repaired. I get that it works, but diverter is missing and middle shower handle is loose so can only be used as a shower. While I'm glad there's a dehumidifier in the unit, it needs to be emptied several times each day and gets annoying. I also cleaned the filter on arrival. A better unit would come with a drain line to eliminate need for emptying the tank. Balconies are not really private. Smokers on adjacent balconies made it impossible to sit outside as my wife is pregnant. Otherwise, we had a great stay. We might not stay here again, but that's no fault to the owner. He was wonderful and reachable when needed and the unit is among the nicest we've stayed at in Daytona and very affordable.

Everything from booking to checking out was fast, easy and perfect. This unit was absolutely spotless! There was no detail overlooked. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, hand towels, hand soap, toilet paper, garbage bags....I could go on and on. The unit was stocked with all the small appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils you could ever possibly need while on vacation! I was literally dumfounded at how much he thought of. This owner went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible. The furniture was beautiful and up to date. The view was amazing. We got the best of both worlds,,,ocean view and pool view. I will definitely be staying here again. The Hawaiian Inn itself could use some updating and a lot of cleaning!!! The handrails going down to the beach are rusted out so badly they are eroding away; my son cut his hand on them. The hallways were dark and damp and need some attention as well. On a positive note, the tiki bar sells amazing drinks and lots of food that is both delicious and affordable!!! We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to coming back soon! Thanks!

We stay at the Hawaiian Inn every year and have for a long time. This room was great for our little family of 4. The pricing was also extremely reasonable.

Condo was clean and bright. Space planning and decor is very good. Bathroom fixtures need replacing but everything else was great. Great pool and ocean views from balcony. Lots and lots of kids in pool, so very noisy outside. Wonderful for young families but if you are an empty nester, look elsewhere.

Parking lot was difficult to find a spot, however we arrived at 11pm on a Friday and holiday weekend. Hallway leading to room would improve tremendously with removal of carpet (not closed off from weather and humidity) and left as concrete. Once inside the unit it was clean, smelled nice, and temperature was comfortable. There is a dehumidifier and we emptied it several times during our stay which did not bother us at all. We appreciated it because it was definitely humid outside! The kitchen was perfect for us to cook breakfast and dinners. The views of the beach and pool were beautiful! Was a bit loud in the evenings (until about 11pm), but again it was a holiday weekend. Finding change for laundry was difficult so come prepared!

The place was just as described. The hot tub was huge! The tiki hut was great and even had an Elvis impersonator. Thanks for a great stay!

Booked the property for our vacation. Price was right but room was not. The Hawaiian Inn is an older hotel/condo rental. We checked in and went to our rental. We noticed an odor when we walked in but we were not sure why. We walked out onto the balcony and came back into the room and you could still smell the odor. I read the instructions that were left for us and the one that caught my eye was we had to empty a dehumidifier and not to turn it off. That's when my husband started looking around for the cause of the odor. He looked up at the ceiling and noticed that black mold was on the ceiling. I immediately contacted the host via the VRBO app and explained to him that we could not stay here and he need to contact my husband. The host called my husband and he explained that due to the black mold on the ceiling, we couldn't stay there due to the risk of health issues breathing in the spores from the mold. We requested an immediate refund. The host understood and refunded our payment but we had to find another place to stay, which was not going to be easy due to Bike Week still going on. Luckily we found a place to stay for our vacation.

This unit was very clean and very well equipped. The view of the ocean was wonderful. The owner was very quick to respond to my enquires.

I booked this property because of the pool area and the our unit. The property itself, needs a lot of updating as well as cleaning. All in all, we had a good time.

Loved our stay here. The view was gorgeous you could walk right to pool or a few steps more to the ocean. Room was clean. Owner was easy to contact with any questions. Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The luau was amazing and food was great. I plan on coming back soon.

Loved staying at a place on the beach!! The condo is close to many places, just a short driving distance away from the Boardwalk, restaurants and shopping.. Our condo was very clean, the bed was comfortable.! Plenty of pots,pans, bath towels, ( just need to bring your own beach towels or do like we did buy some there..) Communication with owner we easy and great response time.. Will definitely be back!!!

Very fun place and I would recommend it to anyone.

The building looked old but when we entered the condo it was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed. It was updated and very comfy. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of room. There was a wonderful view from the balcony. Everyone there was extremely friendly. We had a wonderful time on the beach and at the pool. The food at the bar and grill there was delicious also. I highly recommend staying here.

This condo is part of the Hawaaiin Inn and was a clean and comfortable unit. The balcony has a view of not only the ocean but also the pool/bar area. The property has several amenities that made it a nice place to stay -- pools and a bar/restaurant amongst them.David was extremely responsive and let us know how to check in and out and answered all of our questions.We would stay here again in the future.

I loved it as it was my first visit to Florida and room was all that it promised loved sitting on balcony and looking at ocean... except view is partially blocked by tiki hut, still very lovely and such a beautiful scene especially at sunset and sunrise!

Well equipped and very clean condo with all the extras! Perfect location too!
