How close it was to the metro and the price was pretty great.
The bathtub was very dirty, the counter was duck taped together. Not a fancy place for people looking for something fancy. Definitely affordable and in a good location. The host was also very standoffish and rude on the phone to my partner. Didn't get the pincode and when we called about it, he was extremely rude and said it was in the messages when it wasn't when he could have just given it or resent it without an attitude.

Fantastic location 1 block from Metro. Lots of room for our family of 4. Full kitchen, and we loved the laundry facilities in the apartment. No problems with it at all.

The owner Salim was very helpful right from the start, clean apartment and he really cares and tries to make the stay very pleasant.
No insulation apartment units and the person(s) upstairs blast speakers on their TV on movie theatre mode until midnight. Of course, this is out of control of owner's hands but can be a big issue if you are a light sleeper.

Close to subway station, convenient for traveling. Cooking and clothes washing is handy.
Old building and poor installation of timber floor means noise from upstairs can be heard very clearly, each step, each conversation, each draw opening.

Great location, directly across the street from a Metro station. Very clean apartment. Washer and dryer and refrigerator are all newer and very appreciated.
It was a little warm on our first night. There were air conditioners in 2 of the closets but they were not yet set up in the windows as it is still early in the season.

Clean and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped. Salim (the owner?) is very responsive and helpful. We rented the Montreal Authentic Apartment 2 at one floor above as well, a total of 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 kitchens.
Front and back entrances are quite dirty but inside is clean.

Location was great. The apartment had everything that was needed. There was a portable airconditioner in the diningh room which was rather loud but welcome on the very hot nights.
Apartment is very comfortable for a few people, a living room with a huge screen tv, a small dining room and an oddly apportioned kitchen
Pots and pans were rather worn and knives not that sharp
Noise was outrageous from construction in nearby apartments and they happened to strip and pave the street.

The location is excellent, a few steps from metro and bus stations makes moving through the city very easy. Also surrounded by a couple of convenience stores and restaurants, really close to the Olympic Park.
The upstairs neighbor is quite noisy even after midnight, not a deal breaker but light sleepers beware!
