Sooo relaxing with the surf and the hot tub on the deck. Hiking trails out the door, also a bonus. We all absolutely loved this vacation and the whole area and the beautiful town of Cambria.

We had a small business group getaway and loved this home. Spacious, comfortable, very clean and ocean views from almost every room. Just loved it.

We stayed at Sandy Beach the weekend of our wedding. Not only was it was beautiful property with breathtaking views but the rooms so were so comfortable and the communal area was so cozy. The check in process was so easy and picking up the keys was a breeze.

We spent seven wonderful nights at Sandy Beach and were sad to leave. The house is lovely and in a perfect, quiet location, steps from Fiscalini Ranch Preserve and a 5-minute drive to Moon Beach or the cute little town of Cambria. It's a short drive to Hearst Castle and a tour there shouldn't be missed. The home's beds and linens were incredibly comfortable in all three rooms. After long days walking along the beach, the hot tub was a wonderful treat. It was also really nice to have a washer and dryer. We cooked dinner at the house a couple of evenings and ate it on the deck overlooking the gorgeous sunset. Waking up each morning to drink our coffee while looking at that view of the water was heavenly.The only real issue we had was that it got quite hot in the house in the afternoons because of all of the west-facing windows, and the A/C wasn't really powerful. We slept with the windows open, and that did the trick. The property is well-maintained, and Breen promptly responded to our request to clean the hot tub when we first arrived. It is important to note that getting down to the beach is a bit difficult due to the poor condition of the stairs, but we managed to do it one day with my 76-year-old mother, who has bad knees. We highly recommend this property to those seeking a relaxing, peaceful, and gorgeous location on the water, and hope to return soon ourselves.

The home is beautiful and clean. The view is excellent and it is a close walk to a preserve. To improve the experience I would recommend having the windows facing the ocean cleaned, better cookware in the kitchen, tissues and slip mats in all bathrooms, and having the lights on the balcony and staircase in working order. Despite the suggestion, we will definitely stay here again.

The house is great. The only smallIssue we had was the water softener needing a bit more salt. But it was so inconsequential, we didn't let them know. All in all, a perfect 5 days.

The home is positioned right on the Pacific Ocean with views that never spoil. The photos in the description of this property really don't do it justice as to how breathtakingly beautiful the scenery is. That is why you rent this home...location, location, location!There are three bedrooms in the home, each with a king sized bed and a full bathroom (shower/toilette). - The master bedroom is on the main floor and it has the best views of the ocean. - Another bedroom is also on the main floor, but it faces towards the street with no views of the ocean. - Another bedroom is upstairs with good views of the ocean. The kitchen was sufficient for what we needed. There are two coffee makers (drip machine & K-Cup) There were ample pots/pans/dishes etc. There is a double oven plus a microwave. The range was electric (5 burners and a hood fan.) Our only wish was for better quality wine glasses, but it is what it is. The pantry was pretty sparse...but that's okay, not an expectation. The fireplace worked great. The Wifi worked great. The TV is equipped with Roku. The outside deck was well built and safe. The outdoor patio furniture was solid, with the cushions being found in the garage. Washer/Dryer worked/nice. Adjacent to the property are really nice walking trails. Great property! We'll be back!

When we arrived the windows needed washing and they sent someone out first thing the next day even though it was on the weekend. We highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again.

The location of this house could not be better! Amazing ocean views although can be difficult to see out of the windows which were not cleaned when we checked in. The management co. said the window cleaner would come the next day but never showed up. We cleaned them ourselves. The house is stunning but has some deferred maintenance. Exterior lights did not work, several window blinds were broken, no drain cover in master bathroom sink so be careful not to drop anything in it. Also, dirty dishes in the cabinet. The worst part was that when the power went out (PG&E issue) the house had NO flashlights and just a couple decorative candles. When I called the after-hour management I was told it wasn't their fault and I should go out and find someplace to buy flashlights. I've owned vacation rentals and it is so easy to have continuously charging flashlights plugged in throughout the house. Especially in an area where the power goes out (PG&E areas). Additionally, the after-hours manager was out of town so could not help us and was quite rude about it. Bottom line - I would love to rent this house again.....but with a better management company.

We couldn't have been happier with this beautiful home, and wish we had stayed longer! Every room has comfortable furniture, and the main living area is incredible. Open and airy, with many windows to take in the gorgeous view! We had many ideas about places to go in and around Cambria, but ended up spending a lot of time at the house, on the large deck watching the ocean. No regrets!! It was a relaxing, wonderful 4 days, and we can't wait to return.

Overall wonderful. The book of info at the house as well as the property manager need updates. We kept looking for the Charter TV remote, but it apparently doesn’t exist. We needed to reboot the router and book says it is under the table with lamp. After looking at all the tables with lamps we finally found it in a cabinet in the living room. Prior to our visit I called to find out what type of grill and property manager checked and told me charcoal. We bought charcoal, only to find a gas grill when we arrived. Since someone had left an unopened bag of charcoal I’m guessing the same thing happened to an earlier guest.

Positives: View was the best and beach access was wonderful. We especially enjoyed all having our own bathroom. House had everything we needed for our stay. Negatives: Could use some minor maintenance and we often ran out of hot water.

Great place to stay. Right in the breaking water. The tide was pretty high most of our stay so not a big beach but room for a walk. Waves were loud as they crashed on the beach and rocks, which is what we wanted. The deck was nice with several chaise lounges so it was perfect for reading. Big windows for great views, hot tub was preheated, the kitchen was big and updated. All rooms had direct access to a bathroom. The only drawback with the only bathtub in the house was in the master bath and it was not working so we only could take showers, You have to stop in town to get and drop off keys which is a minor incovienience. Other rentals we have had either had a combo box or they met us @ the house. Overall a great place to relax and unwind.
