Not just a home from home but felt like a 6-star guesthouse except as guests we were made to feel so welcome! The hens and cats were fantastic not forgetting the host and whanau too. Fresh eggs for breakfast too and the location was oh-so silent. We had come to Christchurch for a music festival and our unsociable hours were surprisingly ok.

Quiet location, far from the city noise. Spacious room with everything you need to relax after a long day of driving. Access to unbelievably cozy apartment. Shower and bathtub in the bathroom. Free range eggs for breakfast from owner's chickens who can enjoy themselves in the beautiful garden.

We had a wonderful prolonged weekend in Vanessa's house. We really enjoyed it!

Our Host was welcoming, helpful and made us feel at home. We totally recommend this accommodation. Bonus is it is close to New Brighton town and the Pier and beach.
