My family stayed here for about 10 days in June (4 adults and 3 kids). The house was perfect! There was plenty of room for everyone and it was a great house for the kids. The pool was amazing to have during the summer heat. Would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed ourselves very much at this house. We chilled as a family a couple of nights and just grilled out and enjoyed the pool. Jay was very easy to work with and quick to respond if I had any questions. Look forward to staying here again next year for AAU tournament!

This home was one of the cleanest places we’ve ever stayed. No strong scents or allergens. Plenty of space to spread out and the pool was awesome. Close to plenty of shopping options and a completely stocked kitchen. Jay was so great to communicate with.

My family and I stayed at this property while on fall vacation! Everything was beautiful, lovely and exactly as advertised(maybe even better if that’s possible)! The owner, Jay, and his wife were sooo nice and wonderful to work with! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!! The pool, the sunroom, the oh so comfortable beds that hold you hostage! Everything!!!The only negative thing that we experienced is the fact that we had to leave!!! I highly recommend this beautiful home and hope I get the opportunity to call this place my temporary home again in the near future! Thanks Jay!!!

Excellent experience, would recommend
This house was perfect for my family of 4. We stayed in this house for a week. With four bedrooms and plenty of living space we never felt crowded like you would in a hotel room. When at the house we spent a lot of time in the pool and relaxing while avoiding the heat. The owner was pleasant throughout all communication and was helpful with local suggestions. I do recommend this property and plan to rebook on our next visit to SA. Thanks to the owner!

Perfect start to Summer 🤩
Your home was a wonderful place for our San Antonio adventure with the grandchildren. The older children loved the pool and the baby could crawl through out the house safely. The kitchen was well stocked for meal preparation and the beds were comfortable. Thank you, we may come back next year 🎉.

Home with pool
The house was nice and very clean, but we rented the house for the pool. It had green algae in the pool that you could move with a broom. Speaking with the manager he in formed us it was because of the rain that day. My grandkids were very disappointed that they could not swim, which is why we rented the house. Very disappointed with the whole experience.

Definitely met our needs
House was just as described on the listing. We had everything we needed for a succesful stay. My family was visiting for the USAYESS National Youth Tournament at the National Shooting Center. The house was convenient, in a neighborhood that seemed and felt safe, and easy to get to. The pool was actually larger than we expected, and a great relaxing place for all of us after a long Texas hot day at the range. We would definitely choose this house again for next year's competition.

Decent but not great stay
The house was decent but I would not pick this place again. The Kuerig was terrible to the point that we had to go out and buy a cheap $20 Kuerig type coffee maker at Walmart because the owner didn’t care. The washer and dryer were the worst I have ever used. We had to run things through the dryer multiple times to get things dried. And simple food stains were not getting cleaned off of clothes in the washing machine. The pool was a huge disappointment and it was the main reason we booked this place. Debris from an overhead tree was constantly falling into it (which is obviously outside of the owner’s control) but when we checked in there was a thick layer of debris/sediment on the bottom of the pool. The owner claimed that he had cleaned it that day before we checked in but you could tell that meant only skimming the top and not cleaning the bottom of the pool.

The house was very clean and comfortable, and it was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again. The location was really great, too! The restaurant recommendations that the homeowners suggested was so helpful. We loved everything about the stay.

Family birthday getaway
Everything was just as it was advertised on line! I don't typically do VRBO for that reason but I am very glad i chose this home because it was great. There was plenty of room for 5 10 year olds to have a great time , great fun together. Everything was clean, well stocked and overall very well put together. The backyard area was the best!

Perfect Location. MUST BOOK!!
Thank you Jay for allowing us into your home. If you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the inner city but just a 10 min drive away, this is the home for you! The family had fun with the pool. The landscape was adorable. The home was bigger than I expected. There was nothing that I didnt need that wasnt already there. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The neighbors are friendly. I hope the neighbor didnt mind that we put their trashcan back from the curb after pickup. If Jay shall host us again in the future, this is our go to for now on. Everything from stores to pharmacies to restaurants all within a 5 mile radius. If I could have stayed longer i would have. We really felt at home. Thank you again for sharing your home with us. I do hope we left everything in order. We had a FANTASTIC time!

Perfect house for our stay
We were in SA for Bmt graduation for 2nd son in 3 months- wish we would have found this house with first graduation! The house is large, clean, comfortable and bedrooms are far enough apart you aren’t disturbed by others and showers have good water pressure! (That’s a thing for me). The screened in patio and pool were soo nice but a little chilly on this trip to use- My son was able to come back and relax on pass and eat home cooked food he’d been craving. We grilled, had a nice fire in fireplace and did exactly what he wanted to do- just relax! The neighborhood was really nice and we had everything we needed within a 5 minute drive. We don’t have any more kids graduating from bmt anytime soon but if we did need to come back I’d definitely see if this house was available.

We stayed for a basic training graduation and enjoyed our stay. They had everything we needed and no issues at all. Easy access and centrally located. I would definitely stay here again.

BMT Getaway indeed
It is indeed a great location for BMT graduation. The neighborhood is quiet and nice and the house is about 15 min from Lackland. 4 bedrooms so you have plenty of room if you need it. There were only a few of us so we spent most of our time in the awesome screened-in patio in the back yard. We stayed in Jan so we didn't use the pool but I'll bet it's great when the weather is warm. The house was clean and organized and we really enjoyed staying there.

Easy, breezy. I came to San Antonio for an extensive medical procedure and needed a place to recover. This house was perfect....one level, easy in and out (short steps for entry), master bedroom (with TV/Media) and bath for privacy. Only issues was a neighbor's dog barking...far side of the house from master suite. Property manager gave us the homeowner association security number to call if the dog persisted. Fortunately, it got better. I highly recommend this property for your next visit.

Southwest Getaway
Jay's property was perfect for our needs during our time in San Antonio. We were there for our sons BMT graduation, and had a lot of people with different flights and schedules needing accommodated. This house is about halfway between the airport and the base so it was a perfect location for us.
It was oddly cold for November so we utilized the fireplace every night and loved it.
Jay was quick to respond to any questions and very polite everytime we spoke. We will definitely book this house again if we come back into town.

Air Force graduation.
We were so looking forward to lounging by the pool and enjoying this beautiful backyard. However with Air Force festivities we were super busy all weekend. The house was clean and had everything we needed even the necessities so we didn’t have to run to Walmart as soon as we got it. We were 15 minutes for the base and traffic was never bad to and from. However, we always left super early and got home after 8 of an evening. Jay was super always got right back with us and made sure all of our needs were met. If we get a chance to visit San Antonio again Jay will be our go to.

Clean, safe, comfortable. Recommend adding chair in living room and rail for steps in pool. Loved the pool. We found it difficult to get anything other than Netflix. Perhaps owner can devise step by step instructions for remotes. We missed having simple local news and weather.

A brilliant place to stay
Jay’s property is situated in a quiet neighbourhood with all the supermarkets and food places you might need just an easy 5 minute drive away and about 15 mins drive to downtown and the river walk. The house is lovely and cool, immaculately clean and very well equipped. The backyard is great and the pool was wonderful after a day in the San Antonio sun. Really can’t recommend this place highly enough and Jay has been the perfect host
