Nothing

Rooms were beautifully presented and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Air conditioning in the room was appreciated. Parking was great as it was outside the room and this was secure for my motorcycle and easy to offload my panias.

Taxi situation was annoying but that is not your issue/problem.

The staff were super lovely and the room was great. Loved having my car outside too and so close to everything.

I didn't dislike anything everything was amazing.

bar was nice and pool table was great.

spa wasn’t warm, so couldn’t use.

The heated pool

The standards have been slipping each time we stay. There were no swimming towels, the spa wasn’t heating, the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner. There wasn’t enough food at breakfast and every time more food came out you had to rush to get some before it was gone again in about 3 minutes. It was all a bit disappointing.

There were 3 of us staying in the room but the facilities were for only 2 . We had to request for more.

Had the executive suite...spacious, tastefully decorated...spacious!...immaculately clean. A TV in bedroom and another in lounge was very helpful. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and double basins separate shower and was crisp white and clean...with double access from lounge and bathroom. Best room I've ever had in Masterton. Well done Copthorne!!

Room service took awhile. But was great when it did arrive! Parking was a little problematic but only because it was full to capacity with lots on in Masterton that weekend. A microwave in room would've been good.

Poor breakfast, supposedly due to staff shortage only 'continental breakfast' available. Was still charged 75 dollars for 4 adults and 2 kids and they ran out of pretty much everything already at about 8am. No salami or toasts and we had to pay extra for every coffee. Very disappointing for a hotel.

Swimming and Gym

Why don't you have a microwave in the rooms this would be more beneficial. This is the only place I know that doesn't have a microwave. .

Easy to get around (especially nice was the all internal corridors to get to everywhere as it was RAINING!). Nice and clean and everything as expected. Having our room open out facing the pool and kids playground was really handy (would love to come back when it's sunny so we can actually use this!) and the indoor pool and spa was a good consolation

The "games" room was pretty average and didn't really have any actual games. Seemed pretty sad and neglected. Having a online compendium to "save paper" was really annoying and the app was not easy to use which made doing something simple like looking at the restaurant menu much harder than it needed to be.
