This little “casita” was perfect for my husband and I. Charles was friendly and attentive and the property was clean and well stocked. Loved the recently remodeled bathroom with spacious shower.

Terrific stay in Tempe
I am delighted I picked this rental for my stay. Charles is a really friendly, knowledgeable host, and I’d absolutely stay again if I visit the area again. The fresh grapefruit (grown in the backyard) was a great touch!

Charles is a great host.
This studio offers easy access to all things in Tempe and beyond. Hop on the light rail, free Tempe Orbit buss or get on the close convenient freeways to be anywhere in the Valley in a short time. Chicago Cubs Spring Training ballpark is very close. We frequented the Riverview Park for daily walks.

Wonderfully appointed studio
We really enjoyed our stay! Charles gave us great info about the area and made us feel right at home. Had total privacy, but felt he was available for questions if we had any. The property is incredibly clean and the outdoor space was perfect for an evening cocktail after an eventful day.

The owner is a well versed..knows Tempe very well; very kind and considerate and has a beautifully maintained property inside and out. This studio apartment was very comfortable for 2 adults and a golden retriever for 5 days. We will be back!

Perfect getaway!
We come to Spring Training each year and this location was perfect. We went to three games, quick Lyft rides, restaurants are close by as well. Charles is a great host. The studio is clean, well equipped and nicely decorated. We really enjoyed the Mexican market that was close by with fresh salsas, meats, dips and tortillas. Bought all the ingredients to cook most dinners at the house. Thank you Charles!

There is a seperate entrance with a little patio area, great for sitting out enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Walking distance to local transportation to many types of venues. We were able to walk to the neighborhood grocery store for whatever we needed for our week stay. Loved the frosted skylights that brought in natural light. We came to town for Chicago Cub spring training, hiking and ended our trip at ISM Speedway for the Xfinity race. All these venues and more where so easy to get to.

Perfect
The studio apartment was perfect for our stay. First it is beautiful. Second it designed to make the absolute most of the space and is very comfortable. All essentials provided. The owner is a long time resident of Tempe and will provide excellent tips for the area. In addition his thoughtful gift of grapefruit from his yard was much appreciated. Walking distance to Four Peaks, very nice restaurant, grocery store, light rail and free Tempe shuttle (that goes to ASU campus). We will be back and you should go!

Great stay
The owner is very correct and honest, and helped when I had to change dates twice. The house is small but pleasant and clean (I only missed a real rrfrigerator since there is a frigobar and not a refrigerator, so maybe is better for short time rent). Like a flat but is a nice house good for dogs also.

ASU visit
We came into town to move our daughter out of her ASU campus apartment for the summer. Charles place was perfect for our needs! It was close to campus and all that we had to do.
We got in late, he greeted us kindly. We visited with him for awhile and learned that he had gone through the same design program as our daughter is now. The place we very clean and comfortable. We look forward to staying there again over the next few years. Thanks Charles!

Enjoyed the bungalow
Great, thoughtful owner who took extra good care of us. The bungalow is located in a nice neighborhood and I felt safe walking at night. Very quiet. Bungalow was exactly what was listed and very clean. Extra touches included private patio, washer and dryer, coffee maker and coffee, outdoor grill, great TV with cable and Netflix, and a very comfortable. We had a wonderful month stay.

private and comfortable
My overall experience was very positive. The owner provided a comfortable place that was well designed for one or two people. It was loaded with amenities. The entry door was private, allowing me to come and go without disturbing anyone. A very peaceful place in a quaint, treeful neighborhood. Charles is a convivial person who was always attentive to my needs and never intruded into my space or activities. My one year old Golden Retriever named Bucky liked the accommodations as well. He was happy to hang outside right out the door in a very small fenced in area which did not require me to keep an eye on him. He especially liked laying down inside the gate while watching street life and dog walkers.
The location is Tempe so it's easy to get to all the things Tempe's Mill Avenue has to offer, which is nice, but it's easy to drive into Scottsdale and Phoenix as well. Most of my time was spent in Scottsdale yet I never minded the Tempe location. It seems to me that this location and the price of the unit make it an excellent place for people to have easy access to Scottsdale without paying Scottsdale high rental fees.
Also, it's worth noting that the house is on a dead end street so there is very little traffic. Helps with a good night of sleep. Bucky liked easy access to some fine front lawns for his business meetings.
