Friendly host. Nothing was too much trouble . Lots of little extras and special touches. Even lavender spray for your pillow. Breakfast was tasty and freshly prepared. Fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

The breakfast was delicious, loads of options. We had the full breakfast and the quality of the sausages, bacon and especially the black pudding was great.

Location ideal quiet with good facilities nearby. Easy access from motorway/main road. Lots of history to explore and good walks. Good meal at Castle Inn opposite the Lychgate. Comfortable room with great additional touches. Good breakfast choices and very tasty . Easy to contact the host if needed.

Only thing is would have been useful to know parking was a bit tight (road space was full) and where there were alternatives.

Well furnished, comfortable room with excellent en-suite. Loved the cute little room favours especially the pillow spray. Really delicious breakfast & great coffee. Highly recommended & I'll certainly book again. Thank you!

everything ,it was very clean ,cosey & so comfortable ,lovely room and all the little touches was so very thoughtful of jan ,biscuits scones and jam and a lovely jar of jelly babies ,jan was so friendly ,we felt at home straight away the breakfast was delicious lovely fresh local produce coked perfectly ,also a great choice of cereals ,will 100 /: stay again xx

There's nothing to fault , for myself personally, a perfect stay & a most certainly a perfect location. I would highly recommend it ! Coffee, absolutely awesome. So good I asked for a take out for my short walkabout around the corner amongst the Castle grounds.

More pillows, personally firmer the better. Coffee available was a tad bland . I actually used my own . . untill breakfast. WoW what ever your serving ! Have it as an option in the room . Biscuit Caddy a good idea from individual wrapped biscuit portions. Contents a little slim however.

Lovely room which was beautifully decorated. Included some thoughtful, personal touches such as cake and sweets and bathroom products. Breakfast was great too.

This property was perfect for our needs! The owner and her staff were polite and helpful.

Everything was so nice and felt at ease staying there, the owner was superb and thoughtful for everyone to have free jelly babies, lots of biscuits, and endless tea/coffee facilities. I have not eaten jelly babies since I was a child and forgot how much I liked them.

The wifi password was not inside the information sheet. It was on the wall downstairs so it was not a problem for me.

Breakfast was superb, all freshly cooked. Served with a lovely smile. As much as we wanted nothing was too much trouble. The Lychgate is close to the Castle but we were close to our relative too.

The only thing that i didnt like was there wasnt a bath but i did know this before i went.
