Beautiful quaint hotel. The room wasn't huge but it had everything we needed... comfortable bed, great shower and super clean. Room was serviced every day. Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming, this is an old style hotel with actual keys on big key rings for the rooms, so you handed in the key when you went out which kept them safe. Breakfast was the same each day but there was enough variety for it not to get repetitive. As far as location goes, it was literally 5 minutes to St Mark's Square and 3 minutes from the dock where the blue line boat from the airport stops. Also there is a small bar next door which was frequented by lots of gondoliers and there was a good number of eateries close by. Would definitely stay again.

room was tiny, furniture and fittings very old, room was constantly very hot unable to adjust room temp, one very small window not able to keep open due to mosquitoes and hotel unable to provide fan. I had 4 nights of terrible sleep due to this

very nice staff, very clean, comfortable room. We were surprised by a fantastic balcony with view up the lake. They also provided a free pass for public transport which also gave significant discounts on other things in town.

Excellent location. Close to everything. Staff very friendly. Clean beautiful hotel. Lovely bedroom furniture. Clean towels and bedding everyday. Excellent choice at breakfast. Nothing negative at all.

We stayed at one of their apartment (Casanova). The location is brilliant next to Danielle hotel and Saint Mark square. The apartment in itself is huge on two floors but lack a bit of furniture in the living room. No breakfast in our plan but you can do it yourself with your kitchen and all the bakeries nearby.

Fantastic location.

Non-functioning air conditioning meant too hot a room with the windows closed, or too much noise and mosquitoes with the windows opened. We simply couldn't sleep.

Supporting staff

There is no elevator to the fourth floor where we were given a room. It was tough to carry heavy luggage from third to fourth floor.

A very pleasant hotel, the location is perfect, breakfast adequate, the staff very friendly. Everything is a little dated, but it adds to the charm. We even had a nice view from the window (we could see San Giorgio Maggiore).

You cannot use your travel iron - the lights would go out.
