I loved the beach and the lagoon, both areas are beautiful and quiet. Very nice staff,specially Pam who was always there to accommodate and Taj.

The apartments near the pool can be disturbing because of children.

I arrived at Sandyport Resort late in the evening and was given the key to a very dirty room (see pictures), complete with cockroaches in the kitchen. The hotel felt creepy at 9 pm, and I found myself looking over my shoulder on the way to the reception. They moved me to another room, supposedly an upgraded suite. There was nothing “suite” about it—just a very bad smell of chlorine mixed with chemicals, outdated furniture, and yes, cockroaches crawling out from it. The photos on Booking.com were highly misleading, and the reality didn’t meet expectations at all. I slept that night with a migraine, woke up feeling the same, and ended up calling Booking.com in tears to cancel the remaining seven nights. Unfortunately, Sandyport insisted on charging for the first night—and at a rate much higher than I’d booked. I’ve traveled extensively, and I’ve never encountered a hotel so dirty and bad-smelling. The beach and facilities were terrible; the beach felt abandoned and neglected. I’m still upset they were able to charge for the first night, especially as the stay made me physically ill. Also the resort was very isolated and far away from everything. They even charge you x2 the price for a taxi.

This is a beautiful, laid-back, small resort with a very chilled vibe. At the same time, everything is working, which surprised me a lot, from the chargers to a very quiet AC, to nice lighting in the rooms. There is a beach and a Lagoon Beach, and a lovely pool as part of their resort.

Very quaint caribbean resort. It’s quiet and perfect to spend a relaxing time in Nassau but still enjoy all its perks. Aquatic sports are available on demand. The location is fantastic considering it’s access to a beautiful beach. Having Sandyport “Plaza” with different restaurants and cafes is an incomparable advantage that make Sandyport beach resort so unique

The experience in the hotel’s restaurant in leaves room for improvement. Also, the cleaning personnel could do a slightly better job too.

the facilities are outdated. The room we stayed in had missing hardware all over the place. Really needs work.

Fantastisk resort med en flott beliggenhet. Hyggelig personalet og god service under hele oppholdet. Tilbaketrukket resort med privat strand, basseng og beach-bar, som gjør at oppholdet her er mye mer komfortabelt en andre hotel jeg har vært på tidigere. Resorten har også vunnet flere priser fra tidligere. Anbefales på det sterkeste om du ønsker en rolig og avslappende ferie.

Vanskelig å mislike noe så flott som denne resorten.

My room was well appointed (on the smaller side) but for a solo traveller this was adequate and had everything that was needed. The bathroom was also small but sufficient. The kitchenette was well equipped and it was appreciated. A larger work desk would have been nice but I don't think many people come here to work. I was able to take my laptop to Blue Sail but was chased off on the 2nd day. The resort itself is beautifully laid out and well kept. The location is magical and I felt my family would have enjoyed it more (but we will be back). The staff were well trained, very friendly and professional. I thought very highly of them, many of them greet you as you pass by (felt really welcomed). Overall a beautiful resort, just looks a bit tired with age but the crew looks like they are staying on top of it. Thank you for a memorable stay.
