The family were SO lovely- they really made the trip for us :D thank you guys. Breakfast was great- lovely terrace with mountain backdrop. Booked Colca Canyon through the hotel and it worked out much cheaper! Arequipa is a beautiful place.

10 minute walk to the main area- always felt very safe walking (day and night). Just so people know. Taxi's are available.

Great hotel room with comfortable bed and a nice hot shower. Close to the Plaza as well, so easy access to restaurants, shops, etc.

The hotel has a lovely terrace with a great view and is nicely situated close to the main Plaza. Alex and Aileen are wonderful and accommodating hosts who are more than happy to take care of all your needs.

Some lights not working, door hard to close. Unlike some hotels when leaving early we didn't get option to get packed food instead of breakfast as part of a deal.

We’ve stayed at this hotel each time we travel to Arequipa because they treat us like houseguests. The staff goes above and beyond to make our stay as uneventful as possible. The location is close to the Plaza de Armas and many excellent restaurants I highly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable, clean rooms with a good location a few minutes away from the main square so it isn't noisy. The breakfast menu was simple but the options that we tried were all tasty, we recommend the banana crepes. We booked the Colca Canyon trek through the hotel and they were able to match the price from one of the tour agencies in town. The laundry service was quick, we received our laundry the same day and the price was reasonable.

A nice place to stay. We got great tips for sights and local restaurants. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was delicious! They were very kid friendly and everything was clean.

The only negative point was that the rooms were noisy. We would still book here again anytime we are in Arequipa.

be aware that there is a 12% Service Fee coming on top on the Booking Price. You wont see this while booking. We never had this problem, they told us they cant do anything about it. I highly doubt that. 12% is a lot!

Our room was nice and big, the staff was kind and helpful, and the location is great. Everything met our expectations.

The staff is the primary reason I find Chikan Hoteles in Arequipa to be excellent. They go out of their way to make our stay comfortable and stress-free. I highly recommend this particular hotel.

Super friendly staff, very helpful, always smiling. Very good located to get to the market, city center of Arequipa, everything. Rooms are spacious and clean, showers are hot, Breakfast is very good also.

The staff is the best one I met in Peru!!! They were just very nice and super helpful! So thank you for making my stay easy. The BEST breakfast I ever had in Peru as well! It was more then enough, eggs AND pancakes!

A great hostel with attentive and hospitable staff, supporting an eco-friendly approach to the environment. They offer cleanliness, good atmosphere, delicious breakfast and short walking distance to the main square.

Small remark to be honest not to the hotel but to the schedule of 1day tour to Colca Canyon that they offer. The guide was cool, but everything was done in a hurry. Schedule of the tour should be remodel, some point need to be removed to be able spend more time for example near the Mirador Cruz del Condor.

The staff is so professional but it’s the little things they do to make one’s stay comfortable. They go above and beyond to make life easier. I’ve stayed there a number of times and will return again.

The staff where so lovely to my mom and I. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is nice and simple with fresh fruits and coffee every morning. Good location, a few block form the plaza de armas so walking there and back was very esay. Wish I could have stayed a few more days.

The staff were amazing - very friendly and kind. They offered us early check in for a small fee which was very nice as we had a very long bus journey and arrived 6 hours before check in. The breakfast was lovely with an unbeaten view of the mountains.

Incredibly nice personel. Our son was sick during our stay and the management was very helpful. The Hotel is only 10 mn walk from Plaza de Armas, which is a beautiful place! The breakfast was really good too

Unfortunately the photos in Booking did not correspond to the reality. It's not like that. The structure of the hotel needs to be improved . In the photos the hotel looks renewed but it's not. It's a bit old. Despite the sheets were cleaned and smelled good the cleaning of the room itself was not the the best. The hot water works by solar which means you don't always have hot water (this is a general issue in Peru). The breakfast was good but it could have more options and more quantity.
