Het uitzicht was prachtig, het appartement zelf netjes en comfortabel. De schoonmaakster is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Wij verbleven in het Luxury appartment De airco hangt onhandig, precies tegenover het bed, en hoe je hem ook stelt je hebt last van de luchtstroom. Balkon is smal en door de glasplaten brand je er weg in de middag/begin avond. Het appartement is er kleiner dan lijkt op de foto’s, dus je betaalt ook voor de locatie. De prijs vind ik voor het appartement zelf (hoewel compleet ingericht) wat aan de hoge kant. Contact krijgen met de verhuurder (of een contactpersoon?) is lastig, gaat eigenlijk alleen via chat op Booking en niet vlot. Weinig parkeerplaatsen als alle units verhuurd zijn (maar 4 op eigen terrein). Dus dan moet je auto op straat blijven staan.

The closest beach wasn't all that great. We went to Makris Gialos beach which was like a 5 minute drive away.

We are hersiant to give Thalassa View a good review because wewant to keep it all to ourselves 😉 and return year after year! The pictures on the site don't do it justice - everything has been upgraded and the landscaping is stunning. We stayed in the bottom studio and it was like living in a beautiful maisonette, complete with full size refrigerator and waterfall shower. Our hosts left us a bottle of Kefalonian wine and even allowed us to store our luggage as our flight was later in the day. Cleaning crew is discreet and provides everything you need. The location is close to EVERYTHING - beach, supermarket, restaurants, and about a 20 min walk to Argostoli. Don't know how we'll top this. Best vacation yet!

Mattress for the bed, was to far soft for us.

The location is great, comfortable walking distance to beaches & Argostoli (if you are quite fit - there are some steep patches). The balcony of the flat was nice & big, with an amazing view - perfect for sundowners or yoga! The flat was big & comfortable, with sound-proofed windows & block-out curtains in the room. The host left us a bottle of wine & Greek sweets as a welcome gift, which was very nice.

The main reason for my 6 rating was the sewerage smell of the apartment - there was clearly a plumbing issue that was flagged to the host a few different times, but it was not sufficiently dealt with. The cleaning lady tried to use drain cleaner, but it didn’t work… it was very unpleasant to constantly have this smell. The host didn’t follow up with us to see if it was fixed, even though we asked for a professional to come sort it out. The additional pillows provided were very hard & uncomfortable, but the cleaning lady was very helpful in switching them out.

The property is lovely with great views of the sea.. ideal for a family of 4, lots of space, the apartment was excellently furnished and was idea for self catering accommodation.

Wasn’t much I didn’t like… I would only suggest the following; a kettle as it’s easier than boiling water on stove. wine glasses as it’s nice to sit on veranda at night having a glass of wine.

The apartment is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. all the utensils needed. i use the kitchen so it was important to me. all the utensils are new. in general the apartment itself is very well appointed with lots of nice little details, light fittings, three sets of snow white towels, toiletries. very convenient location for me: two lovely beaches, shop and main street with cafes and shops are nearby. Many thanks to the hostess for her help in arranging a taxi to and from the airport.
