Loud in the room, both hearing other guests and music from parties at the bars nearby - hard to sleep

The owner of the hostel is a super super nice lady who shows a lot of effort to help you in all your demands! No matter if you have questions in terms of your onward journey or if you just need tips from a local. I „had“ to stay there for over one week because of stomach flu and I couldn‘t ask for a better place to stay at while being sick!! She also offered me a super delicious soup twice (a extraordinary sweet gesture!!), always asked for my well-being and overall she was really caring during my stay there! In addition, the room was very clean and the cleaners were super friendly and engaged :) I also really liked the location, 5 minutes walk from pharmacy, supermarket and about 5-10min. to the Central Street. Overall, my experience there was very very good! Una vez más: Muchas muchas gracias !!! :-)

Hotel in central location. Rooms are very clean and Aida ist just so nice and helpful. I stayed for one night only, but would come back! Great value for the price!

Quite noisy but if you're staying in central San Jose I don't think you'll be able to avoid noise.

we had a room near the street it is a tad noisy- but it is also the city - cities tend to be noisy. If you have a car - parking is a tad confusing - but Aida was very helpful & even walked us to an overnight lot to show us where to park our rental for a good rate.

We were able to check in even though we arrived very late. Staff was very helpful. Very good location near museums and tourist district.

The owner is really pleasant and has a very cute and friendly dog. Very responsive as well. The location is practical when you are coming from the airport and are making a quick pitstop.

The WC is bit tiny and its bit difficult to manage the water temperature at the shower. The parking close by is around 5EUR per day and it's the only option around.

the location was perfect. in a quiet little part of city but right next to great spots to see. great restaurants right around the corner. shopping across the street. Aida was so incredible. she went out of her way to help me out which I really appreciate. definitely recommend.

Even though I had a light blanket, I was a little cold during the night and I would have liked to have an extra one. But I am sure it is possible to ask for one if one stays for more than 1 night :)

Fantastic location, you cannot get better when in San Jose City. Right opposite the National Museum and a 5 min walk downtown and to everything of major interest. loved the owner of the property and the juice bar next door for breakfast. great value for money. I want to thank the owner of this property for her amazing kindness. I left a necklace of great sentimental value and she was in touch constantly so I could try and recover it, despite my travelling around. people don’t do that across the world, so this was an act of kindness that speaks volumes about this property and the owner and family who live there. i can’t recommend this place enough. especially if first time in San Jose or travelling solo.

got a bit cold, but the owner is more than happy to give extra blankets and asks you on arrival. Take the extra blanket just in case as weather can be unpredictable.

The property felt secure and safe. You could walk to downtown easily, there was a restaurant 2 mins away and also a bakery just round the corner. I was only here for a night. The owner was really friendly and had a cute dog and great value for money. Would recommend to anyone particularly a solo traveller. I had a double room and slept well.
