WAYFARERS REST Amazing sea view! Private estate on seafront.
Atemberaubende Wohnung im zweiten Stock in einem umgebauten edwardianischen Haus direkt am Meer. Fabelhafte Lage mit wunderschönen Küstenwanderungen in beide Richtungen. Der Zugang zum Strand erfolgt über Stufen, die nur mit einem Schlüssel für die Bewohner des Anwesens zugänglich sind.
Die Wohnung selbst verfügt über eine schöne Einbauküche mit Frühstückstheke mit Blick auf das Meer, einen geräumigen und gemütlichen Wohn- / Essbereich, ebenfalls mit Meerblick. Das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad mit Badewanne und begehbarer Dusche von Jack and Jill. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat zwei Einzelbetten und wohl die beste Aussicht von allen. Es gibt auch einen Balkon vom Flur, wenn Sie etwas frische Seeluft einatmen möchten.
Broadstairs ist ein wunderschönes, unberührtes Juwel mit goldenem Sandstrand und Hafenarm. Broadstairs hat ein eigenes Mikroklima und vermeidet oft das schlechteste Wetter. Selbst im Winter finden Sie oft einen geschützten Platz, um draußen zu sitzen und einen Kaffee zu genießen.
Margate und Ramsgate sind beide einen Besuch wert, da beide ihre eigene Atmosphäre haben und etwas anderes zu bieten haben. Das historische Canterbury erreichen Sie mit dem Zug in weniger als 25 Minuten oder mit dem Auto in 40 Minuten.

Wonderful little spot for an escape! The flat itself was lovely - I Ioved the nautical decor and it was so quiet and peaceful. The area around is fantastic, and the access to the beach is an added bonus. Barry and Gaynor were also most welcoming and friendly. An absolutely fantastic spot all round

Our stay at Gaynor & Barry's lovely place was absolutely perfect! The apartment was cosy and fully serviced and it was very easy to drive to Canterbury to visit the catherdral. I highly recommend the accommodation!

Didn't need our car once we got there. We could walk to Broadstairs one way or to some lovely unspoilt bays the other.
The apartment is well appointed with lovely nuatical themed furnishings. Welcoming host. I would certainly recommend.

This property is really a home from home but with gorgeous seaviews from every room. Immaculately clean and comfy beds. Well stocked kitchen and all surprisingly spacious. The area is great for walks, and cycling. There is a nice cliff walk to Joss Bay a really good beach. Broadstairs town centre is a 30 minute walk away
Or a short drive. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Absolutely stunning property and lovely hosts! Barry and Gaynor were a delight to speak with and were very helpful with any questions we had. They left us some breakfast foods in the fully stocked kitchen which was a surprise and it was delicious! Incredible panoramic ocean views from multiple rooms! Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home. Our stay was very relaxing, peaceful and just an incredible experience.

My husband described this as a ‘hidden gem’ and I totally agree!! Barry and Gaynor made it a really special weekend away for us with the kids - lots of little touches that mean the kids are still talking about it now (pinball machine!!) The private access to the beach was fantastic- even on an August bank holiday weekend we had the beach to ourselves a lot, we swam every morning and even saw a seal! The property itself is fantastic- clean, really well fitted out, amazing views and so quiet. Only 15mins walk to Stone Bay or Joss Bay, maybe 20-25mins to Viking Bay; basically, you’ve got it all on your doorstep. We’ve done many weekends away at seaside towns along the south coast, this is the first time we both said “we’ve got to come back”. Thank you Gaynor and Barry, we loved it.

Beautiful accommodation with absolutely
magnificent sea views. The apartment is so relaxing and very comfortable with everything needed for your perfect stay. Secret access to private beach. Ample parking space in safe private road. Charming, friendly and helpful hosts providing little treats to make your stay perfect.

We had a great stay at Barry and Gaynor‘s. We loved the tastefully decorated apartment (which was spotlessly clean), the wonderful view from all the windows, the great hosts and we were really happy about being that close to the beach (private entry through the cliffs included). The kids were enthusiastic about the hot tub and the pinball machine.
We highly recommend the flat and if we ever go back to Broadstairs, we will definitely book the flat again.

This place was ideal. We really had a lovely stay. The location is perfect; close to the beaches and town. The apartment is clean and well appointed. The beds are comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. You can hear the sea from all the windows, and the balcony is perfect for morning tea with the sunrise!
To top it all off, the owners are friendly and helpful. This was a very welcoming place to stay. Just amazing! Thank you!

We had a lovely stay in this fantastic apartment. Probably one of the cleanest, most well-equipped properties we've ever experienced. Wonderful hosts that gave us the warmest welcome (even apologising for the weather!) with a generous welcome pack to get us started. Highly recommended and we'd certainly hope to return.

We loved the apartment and the location. It was clean, the views are wonderful, and it was easy to walk to the various beaches nearby. Gaynor even kindly collected us from the train station and had supplied the essentials like bread, milk and cheese, as well as some chocolates for the kids which was a lovely surprise. It’s the best family holiday accommodation we’ve stayed in, and we’ll be back I’m sure!

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The property was equipped with everything we needed and we really appreciated the thoughtful gestures by the host that made us feel welcome. The place is spotless clean and comfortable. Being so close to the beach was a an extra highlight!

We stayed here two nights and had a really relaxing time. Beautiful apartment with wonderful sea views. Very clean and welcoming, with a lovely vase of daffodils and welcome pack. Decorated soothing colours with nautical touches. I loved the balcony and sat out their for breakfast in the sun, watching the sea. Loved the little touches like throws & games. The steps down to the beach where great & the pinball table was hard to resist. Barry & Gaynor are great host and hope to visit again

Great walks and a place to be quiet and happy after the Christmas madness. Perfect distance to broadstairs. Barry was a great host, very friendly ... hot tub was a bonus (after all the walking) apartment was superb with great views and everything you need for a get away.
Host provided snacks on arrival including mince pies which was a lovely touch. Definitely highly recommended.

Lovely apartment, clean, tidy and full of everything you need for a home from home. Owners are extremely welcoming and provided a lovely welcome pack. The beaches in Thanet are lovely with lots to see in the area.

The apartment credit to the owners with attention to detail with decor. Every room had a sea view and the cleanliness was great. We had welcome treats which was indeed an extra and greatly received . Secluded Italian type court garden with a hot tub to unwind in after long beach walks

Really well appointed & nicely decorated. Great location. Lovely sea views. Bigger than it looks in the pics. We have 2 girls (4&6) & felt like we had plenty of space. The girls particularly enjoyed the hot tub & the games! I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks to Gaynor for being such a welcoming and helpful host.

This is a great property for a long weekend away. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was fresh and clean with beautiful views of the ocean. My children (3 and 6) adored it and didn’t want to leave.
It’s about a 15 min walk with kids( faster without) to a great beach, joss bay. We took picnics to the beach and there is a cafe for coffee and snacks. We made dinner in the apartment which was really well stocked with all the utensil you need. Would absolutely recommend this property to a small

Fantastic short break in Broadstairs. The apartment is so cool and airy, which was much appreciated during this current hot spell. Gaynor & Barry are wonderful hosts. There was everything you could possibly wish for, and more, immaculate throughout, and the hot tub was an added bonus. We will be back for another short break in the winter!

Great Location - only 3 - 4 miles to several towns and bays
One of the best properties we habve stayed - apart from the odd seagull it was peace and quiet and tranquility that we got . Owners were most helpful - and trhe finishings in the propertry are to a verey high standard

Great stay taking the family for a long weekend. So close to the beach and very relaxing part of broadstairs only 10 mins walk to main centre or broadstairs.

Stunning views in a lovely apartment
We came for our 20th wedding anniversary with 2 friends. We had such a lovely weekend. The welcome pack was much appreciated. We spent the weekend mooching around Margate and on Saturday night we are at The Littke Sicilian and it was gorgeous.. Just looking out of the window at the sea with the papers and a coffee was bliss. 100% Reccomemded

Excellent property by the sea
We had a restful amd comfortable break at Wayfarers Rest . The property is well appointed, bright and spotlessly clean. The views of the sea from the breakfast bar and balcony are wonderful- the pictures dont do the place justice. The surrounding area is quiet amd its a short walk into Broadstairs town and the beaches. Gaynor was very helpful and had a nice welcome pack. Highly recommend this property.
