The downtown area shops were still very nicr

We loved this location!! So central to everything we wanted to do over a long weekend! Lots of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. There’s a bar across the street that was loud when we were walking by but could barely hear it in our place! Perfect!! Would definitely come back!!

I loved it, very clean and great location. I would suggest to download both apps of what you are booking through because I was missing some information on getting in after hours and that was frustrating. Also, I was locked out when the code suddenly changed but after persistence I had help an hour later. Outside of those hiccups, it was a great place, clean, and amazing location.

We loved staying downtown. Super convenient to all of the shopping and restaurants. The property manager was just a text away. We’ll be back!

This was a fantastic, centrally located place to stay for the weekend. Exactly as advertised, very clean, fully functional and spacious. Only down side was that the bar across the street is very loud (at least on weekend nights), but earplugs provided were much appreciated.

Met all of our expectations, well-equipped in a perfect location right in the middle of Main Street action. Live music noise was present for one of our three nights and was still manageable with earplugs. Would stay again!

This is a darling place in a great location. Right off Main Street, the Jarvis is close and very accessible to the downtown shopping and dining areas. The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable and was perfect for our needs. The only complaint I had was that it is across from a popular club, and Saturday night it was loud. All other nights were fine.

Loved the location in downtown Durango. Condo is upgraded with a beautiful kitchen and bathroom. King and Queen beds are comfortable.

The location was great, the apartment was clean, it was easy to access, the bathroom was spacious. My only complaint is that the noise from the bar across the street kept us all up until 2am.

Windows were single pane glass that appeared original to the building. Mattress needs replaced. Bedding on bed smelled unfresh. Rail needs installed on loft elevation. Had 4 wash rags for 4 people over 3 nights. Lights in living room were difficult to turn on, so it was dark at night and in the morning. Best thing about the place was its proximity to downtown.

The Jarvis #303 is cute and close to everything downtown. It is right across from the street from a nightclub, which got pretty noisy on Friday and Saturday nights. Parking was easy and convenient and the elevator a godsend for my elderly parents.

The studio apartment is one block from Main Street but not too noisy. It is comfortable for two people, but the loft is too short to stand up in and the rail is so low that I think it unsafe for children.
It’s lovely to have reserved parking spot and the elevator. The house was well equipped for our stay. I wish the dead bolt was operable.

Likes: located in downtown close to everything.
Dislikes: Main king size bed needs new mattress. Two large, body size impressions on each side of bed. Single pane antique windows allowed cold, heat and noise in. There was a street dance and a bar on the street below, and noisy until 2 am both Friday and Saturday night. There’s only one small mirror in the bathroom, which hangs down, and hard to get ready in front of, think bending down to see in it to do hair a makeup. The loft needs a safety railing, which I had noticed on other reviews, and dismissed, but seeing it in person, wow, dangerous. We got 4 towels and 4 washcloths for 4 people for 3 nights. Could’ve used about 12 washcloths. We could not access the locked porch outside.

It's all about the location!!! The property itself needs a little attending to. There were some creature comforts in disrepair, some streamlining needed on some and others just a simple fix to bring this property up to a 5 star rating.

Cute place, well appointed, good location for walking around town. We did hear some nighttime noise from the tavern as other guests have mentioned but it wasn't bad at all (we stayed on a Tuesday/Wednesday night in July).

The condo was perfect for our trip to Durango! The only issue is the downtown noise which really is to be expected. However, the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is large and clean. We had everything we needed and walked to all the stores everyday. I would highly recommend this condo as long as you are okay with downtown noise.

We loved everything about this space. For being a studio it’s got plenty of space for the 2 of us. Great kitchen, comfy couch & oversized bathroom. It was very convenient to all
of the shopping & restaurants too. We also found hiking within 10 minutes. The only down side was the very loud bar music on Saturday night. It was difficult to get to sleep with all of the racket. So I wouldn’t stay on a Saturday if I could help it.

Great Location
Overall great experience with this property. It is exactly as described and as the pictures detail. And the location is perfect as you can walk to everything in downtown Durango. Check in instructions were easy to follow and getting in was a breeze.
A few notes: 1) the deadbolt needs to be fixed - I know others have said this as well, but come on. Just fix the thing! 2) The area rug is on its last leg - time to pony up for a new one before it wears completely through. 3) If there is a squeaking noise that is driving you nuts, adjust the vent in the ceiling you can reach from the loft. That is where it is coming from - took us a while to find it, but we did get it and a simple adjustment takes care of it.

A lovely condo
We stayed here over Christmas for 5 days. It was wonderful. Our kids (ages 8&12)loved the loft, I wouldn’t recommend loft for kids under 7ish. The location was ideal. The kitchen was very equipped. It was clean and very comfortable. We plan to return.

Historic beautiful place/location with all modern features!
Loved everything about the place - beautiful artwork and furnishings, well stocked kitchen, location great, looked just like photos- comfortable beds and living space. Dishwasher bottom drawer didn’t work though and no note so had to hand wash everything after unloading. No deadbolt on door. Walls are thin and could hear conversation in next door unit at 11 pm as though in our room, likewise street noise when patrons left bar across street woke us at 1 am or so each night.

Comfortable, convenient & close to everything!
We loved staying at the Historic Jarvis building. It was great (even during COVID-19) to be right in town, have a parking space & have a comfortable place to call home! We want to come back again! Thank you for making your place available to us!❤️

Cool space in a great location.
It’s a very charming apartment. Has great amenities and was very clean. It’s within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants on Main St. The A/C didn’t work so it was a bit warm at night. I did address this issue with Vacasa but it wasn’t resolved during our stay. It was cool at night so having the windows open helped. I did lose the room keys and they were able to come open the door and give us new keys very promptly. All in all a great stay and would recommend.

Durango vacation
This is a batchlor pad. Balcony is not off room but floor below on other side of bed. Second bedroom a joke. 8’ drop off around entire bed with no handrail? How can rent like this out of code? 5 remotes, none work. Pretty disappointed for outrageous rate with all the extra charges..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Superb location right off Main Street, walking distance from all the best that Durango has to offer: restaurants, bars, the train, and the river. Very clean, spacious and beautiful interior. We highly recommend staying here, we know we’ll be back!

Great location and property but the walls and, especially, windows have little sound absorbing qualities. Late night partiers kept us up all night.

But I wish the building would have had better windows and wall insulation. We were kept awake multiple nights from partiers outside and we heard our neighbors too easily.
