A lovely 2 bedroom apartment spread over 2 floors. Well equipped with outside areas and seating. Quiet location and some nice walks along canals and around local villages. Numerous supermarkets and shopping with in either 15 minutes walk of 5 minutes drive.

We stayed here to visit London and Windsor. London is easy to reach by train from West Byfleet, fast train is 30 min to Waterloo. The neighbourhood is fine with supermarkets, pubs and nice paths to walk.
The house is cosy and fully equipped. We recommend it if you to stay with a family nearby London.

Perfect center point for exploring this area of England
Beautiful grounds, darling apartment. Perfect home base for exploring this beautiful part of England. Tucked away, very safe, but close to everything you need. Comfortable and welcoming. Stocked with necessities that we were thankful not to have to purchase with our travel plans. Lucky enough to have a sweet baby bird nest right outside the upstairs landing.

Warm und herzlich
Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und haben uns spontan sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend ausgestattet, keine Wünsche bleiben offen. Es ist alles hübsch, sauber und in Ordnung. Olwen und Ian sind tolle Gastgeber und überaus hilfsbereit in allen Lebenslagen. Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen, man kann zu Fuß einkaufen gehen, schöne Spaziergänge am Kanal machen und schöne Ausflüge in die Umgebung und nach London. Windsor ist nicht weit, ebenso Hampton Court, in einer Stunde ist man in Brighton, es gibt National Trust Häuser, viele hübsche Orte und eine schöne Landschaft. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

What a beautiful place to stay! I can’t recommend Evans Court highly enough. It’s a superb accommodation in a lovely area with everything you could possibly need. The actual photos shown don’t do the place justice, it is that good.
Everything has been thought of and nothing overlooked. A fantastic kitchen and living area with all the appliances and mod cons but with added extra of a wall book shelf, filled with every type of book imaginable. This all makes for a very comfortable setting.
There is a nice decking area which is lovely to sit in at any part of the day and also a table tennis table in a courtyard next door which is good fun.
Upstairs both bedrooms are very nicely decorated, spacious and with plenty of places to hang and keep your clothing and shoes etc. Special mention has to go to the bed pillows and bed which are very very comfortable and both help ensure a sound sleep.
The bathroom is also very nice with a power shower to die for. Lovely to wake you up on the morning or perk and freshen you up after a long day sightseeing.
Evens Court is based in a beautiful neighbourhood of West Byfleet and has shops and a train station as well as a taxi rank only 15 minutes walk away. Trains into central London (Waterloo)) are regular and take between 30 and 45 minutes. West Byfleet was a perfect location for us as you are away from the huddle and bustle but still quite close to central London and there are lovely local places to see and many attractions nearby. The only downside for us as a family was we did not spend enough time to fully enjoy and appreciate Evans Court.
I can highly recommend Evans Court as a place to stay. The owners are also very friendly and always there to help if needed but also respecting your privacy at the same time.
We will hopefully be returning in the future. If you are thinking of a place to stay with character, in a lovely area, to explore central London and surrounding areas from, then this is you place. 5*

A great base
This was a perfect home-from-home to be used as a base for visiting the city of London. The train station was only a five minute drive away, only cost 5 pounds to park all day and a return to London for two adults and two children was only £40 and only took 23 minutes. After a long day sightseeing each day it was wonderful to return to such a comfortable place which was also so well equipped. The table tennis table was great for the children and although it is close to the M25, once the secondary double glazing is closed, you can’t hear anything. The Air-conditioning unit in the main bedroom was also extremely useful when the temperature got pretty warm and both the shower and beds were spot on. We would definitely use this again when we are due for another sightseeing visit!

Family Holiday
We had an absolutely fantastic time stopping in West Byfleet. The property is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a family. Ian was so helped and gave us fantastic information about the local area including a brilliant day out at Brooklands Museum. The location is ideal as we were able to visit Legoland, London and Chessington all within 40 minutes journey. We would definitely love to return again. Highly recommended. Schöne Wohnung und nette Vermieter
Die Wohnung ist ein Anbau zu dem eigentlichen Wohnsitz der Vermieter. Das Anwesen insgesamt macht einen sehr luxuriösen Eindruck, passend auch der gesamten Umgegend, in der sich fast nur alleinstehende, große Häuser finden.
Die Wohnung über 2 Etagen ist mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht, die Küche verfügt neben Kühlschrank, Herd, Tiefkühler und Ofen auch über einen Waschtrockner. Kaffeemaschine gibt es nicht, dafür eine Cafetiere. Die Wohnung ist in gutem und gepflegten Zustand, wir fühlten uns wohl. Das Bad ist modern eingerichtet und wirkt recht neu.
Die Wohnung selbst ist etwas abgeschieden, die Ortsmitte etwa 1,5 km Fußmarsch entfernt, dort befindet sich auch ein großer Supermarkt. In die andere Richtung, etwas weiter, ein noch größeres Einkaufszentrum mit einem "Riesen-Tesco". Dort findet man alles, was man zum Überleben braucht. Dank der liberalen Öffnungszeiten ist das Einkaufen nie ein Problem.
Die Vermieter sind ein älteres Ehepaar, beide sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wir fühlten uns dort gut aufgehoben. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

the house is a delight
the house is a warm delight, in a leafy area out of London. It has all one could ask for, comfortable beds, great shower, comfy sofas, large number of books something for everyone and kitchen that has plenty of pots, pans and dishes. The area is ideal for zipping around the M25 to reach interesting places to visit and only a quick trip by train into London itself. Several food shops close at hand, Waitrose, MS food and huge Tesco.
Brooklands is a fabulous place to visit and only 10 mins away, as is Wisley. We made the trip to Bletchley Park which was also worthwhile. Would return any day.

Beautiful apartment.
We stayed at this apartment over the Easter holidays. The accommodation was beautifully presented, clean and spacious for all four of us.
It was lovely to come back from a tiring day out at the local theme parks: Legoland, Thorpe Park and Chessington, which are all less then 30 minutes away, to an amazing base camp.
We also went to Central London by train, which was also an easy journey.

Lovely apartment in a great location.
We stayed at Evancourt for 2 weeks whilst we were moving house, with two young children. On the edge of West Byfleet, it's a very handy location from which you can get around very easily. The station is a very short drive away, as is the local Waitrose store and other amenities within the area. The apartment is really nice and practically fitted, with a good range of equipment for cooking, cleaning etc. The location is lovely, close to a canal and withing the grounds of the owners' house. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the wall of books is a luxury that we were not able to fully enjoy. Cable TV and internet made the stay work very well. Our hosts were very helpful and responsive but we were left to enjoy the property. We'd certainly come back and use Evancourt again.

A large, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment near the River Wey
We recently spent a week in the apartment at Evancourt in West Byfleet. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and attractive, and equipped with everything one could possibly want for an extended stay. It was also spotlessly clean. Upstairs there are two good-sized bedrooms and a beautiful, modern bathroom with shower. Downstairs, there is an excellent, fully equipped kitchen and a lounge with an extensive library and satellite TV. French doors lead onto a pretty deck where one can sit and read or eat, and beyond that is a ping-pong table which should provide fun for the younger set.
A five minute walk from the house is the River Wey which connects with the Basingstoke canal. Walking along the towpath, watching the ducks, swans and herons, and the narrow boats puttering by, was idyllic, even when it rained! In the village of West Byfleet , a five-minute drive away, there are shops, a Waitrose supermarket, and a railway station from which one can take a fast train into London. It could hardly be more convenient. In the opposite direction is Brooklands, the site of the world’s first dedicated motor-racing circuit and now home to a fine automobile and aeronautical museum. And beyond that, within easy driving distance, lies the beautiful countryside of the Surrey Hills and the Devil’s Punchbowl.
Most important, the owners, Olwen and Ian, were extraordinarily welcoming, kind and helpful. They made our stay as easy and enjoyable as it could be and we feel lucky to have found Evancourt. To summarize, we highly recommend Evancourt, whether it be for a short stay or a long one

The property was beautifully landscaped with lovely gardens. Very private.
The home was top notch. Everything was nice from the kitchen to the bathroom to both bedrooms! We enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day in the living room reading. :) Ian was so helpful as well. If we return to England we would love to stay here again. Loved it!

Location perfect to discover London ( for runaways like us ). Just half an hour drive by rental car from district line station Wimbledon . (Off peak times recommended)
The next huge superstore ( Tesco extra ) is just a ten minutes ride away)
The house is so perfectly fully equipped with love for details -we missed nothing ! Amazing library and beautiful terrace to have a " bubbly" in the evening sun. Very kind conversation in advance and a warm welcome from the hosts .

Excellent apartment
We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Location is a quite neighbourhood and Olwen was lovely. The apartment has everything you would need and the shower is powerful which I find is a disappointment in a lot of accommodations. The smoke alarm was beeping because of the battery was dying and it was changed straight away. I would really recommend this apartment.

Great apartment, great location!
We were really pleased with the apartment and its location. It is comfortable and well-equipped (and the bookshelves are overflowing with wide-ranging reads!). Olwen welcomed us and showed us everything we needed to know. The location is fantastic for lots of attractions: Wisley was a particular favourite. West Byfleet itself has a number of great restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay.
