The staff were helpful, kind, and polite. The garden is beautiful and peaceful. Lunch at the restaurant was tasty and good value.

The whole crew was so friendly, helpful and they all did an excellent job every day! The garden was amazing! We were a group of 6 people in 3 rooms and they let us have breakfast together at the terass of the room on first floor, which was very cosy. The pool was clean and the little kitchen that all the rooms shared was good. Not to forget, the view from the hotel and rooms is stunning!

What a lovely place to stay, beautifully clean, really comfy beds, a great little kitchen to use, a pool and nice breakfast… the place had such a character not over the top swanky just lovely, the terrace was beautiful with lovely planting we had breakfast every morning looking over Funchal. It was a 30 min walk down the hill to the city.. Stephania couldn’t have been more helpful booked us taxis and totally looked after us. Highly recommend and such a great price

Just lovely full of character and we were so well looked after… lovely pool and a kitchen you can use and a great walk into town get the number 19 bus back up the very steep hill… perfect place we loved it

View is nice, and room is clean.

The lady who owns the place (or manages it), was just too pushy and very disturbing and stressful. I really felt like she was behind my every step. She insisted that I have to go to the Wine Lounge, and after that yelled at me because I didn't go that night, I guess trying to humiliate me or something, in front of other guests (that's really her problem, not mine, but I just wanted to mention that here). I am very happy that I can finally do the review, because she made it look like I didn't stay at all (probably wanted to take some money from booking with this, but that's fine with me, or she didn't want me to make a bad review) and marked my reservation as "no show, cancelled" (which is a complete lie, I stayed there foe 2 nights) and I had to contact booking to prove that I actually stayed there (to prove it, I used the payment receipt and transcript of the chats between me and the host, and thankfully booking saw that and acknowledged it). My advice is: you have a beautiful place there, let the guests relax in it, if you are already accepting them as your guests. Maybe you will not be happy, but they will, and someone elaw might do the same thing for you in the future. Advice for the guests: try it, maybe you will have more luck than me, who knows.. :) I'm sorry for tje bad review, I really don't like to do it, but I felt like I had to. All the best to you!....

Great terrace, the view is lovely, the host is very cool, shared a lot of info and was always ready to help. The breakfast is delicious! You can have lunch there as well, the food is good. It is up the hill, with a 25 min walk down to the old city center so that keeps you fit :)

The lady is friendly - There is a POOL with towels, tea point, chairs - Breakfast with a view over the ocean - Good price all included with breakfast and free access to the pool - Quiet and cute environment with a lot of flowers, birds.

Breakfast could be improved a bit with fresh orange juice, except this it was perfect! - The casa is really far from the center (30min by walk and you must climb up it's really sharp) or bus - If some lights were added around the pool, it could be really nice to chill a bit with a tea in this area when we come back from evenings in the center - The toilet flush didn't work properly

Very comfortable Room, with a decent terrace. Well sorted breakfast, with egg, cake, rolls, juice, jam, cheese etc. and a well prepared coffee. Inbetween 12 and 17 p.m. on Mondays till Fridays there was lunchtime, with different tasty dishes. Pool with crystal clear water, i enjoyed it. Стефания the principal was always very, very helpful. Shure I will return there on my next holiday on madeira island

The location was a bit far from the city center and the room was quite small.

Stayed here 3 years ago and nothing has changed, which was excellent news. The manager, Stefania and her staff were fantastic. Very helpful and friendly.

It's a home-like accommodation. Very clean, bed was comfy for me, nice views, breakfast are good, you can also keep your stuff in the common fridge. It's near Monte, but you still have to walk.

I had to wait for warmer water for over 5 minutes which I consider a waste. Also the shower would need fixing, a new head perhaps. There is a very annoying dog barking in the evening from neighbours, I know that the host has nothing to do with that but some people just like quiet.

What a lovely hotel! I had a wonderful memory! I really enjoyed my stay at Casa do Caseiro. It's a lovely place, vintage and clean room, and nice staff. Stephania, the host of the hotel, is very nice and very friendly. She's one of the reasons why this place is so good! The hotel is in the mountain area, it's not very convenient if you don't drive a car. But bus 19, 26 and 27 can reach. Because it's in the mountain, so from the garden (where breakfast is served), there's nice view! One day during the stay, Stephania invited to join a mountain walk. I was so glad to join such a special intensive walking organized by the local. The walk, I have to say it's quite challenging and adventurous, but the view on the way was stunning and amazing. We hiked above the clouds! It's a memorable moment. I am definitely going to go back to Madeira, and stay here again! (Already started looking at the flight tickets🤭🤭)
