Mâncarea super proasta , personalul foarte grețos, curățenie șamd.

I read some of the negative reviews and I am questioning how is it possible?! Obviously, some people don't have realistic expectations. If you want a super luxury stay, you might try Villa Chinka at St. Constantine and Helena, but it won't be the same price. It will cost you about 20+ times more. To me Hotel Horizont is not only the best value for the money but it has a very special charm and positive vibes. Although, it's not a luxurious place, it is very clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, I always have a good sleep there. Not to mention that the family who runs the place, has an exceptional customer service. They are friendly, helpful and personal, yet very professional. Stoyan has a heart of gold and works tiredlessly to make sure the hotel runs at 100% client satisfection. Silvia and Sirma are the most professional hotel staff, I've ever dealed with. I highly recommend this place.

Parintii mei insotiti de un alt cuplu au fost la acest hotel. L-am ales in ultima clipa si am avut emotii mari deoarece nota de pe booking nu este buna deloc. Insa s-a dovedit a fi contar a ceea ce-am citit online. Intr-adevar (dupa spusele parintilor), este un hotel vechi 'comunist', dar ai piscina si mancare intr-un pret care in Romania iti ofera doar o camera mediocra in Costinesti. Multe dintre camere nu au AC, dar ai mei au calatorit cu un ventilator portabil care a ajutat. Mancarea este buna, nu foarte diversificata, dar multumeste. Bauturile nu sunt inluse in pret. Nu am intrebat de parcare pe parinti, dar nu s-au plans, deci probbabil nu a fost o problema. Distanta catre plaja e de vreo 15 minute, maxim 20 si se urca/coboara niste scari. Este un hotel pet friendly, asa ca daca nu sunteti adepti ai animalutelor, poate nu este pt. voi. Personalul - o administratie de familie, cumsecade si gata sa ajute. Curatenie, da!

Poate ar fi mai indicat sa fie AC in fiecare camera. Frigider fara plata in fiecare camera.

The pool is the best thing about this hotel, and the proximity to the beach.

Food. There were very poor choices for breakfast. Lunch and dinner are ok, provided that one goes early enough and stays in line to get something to eat while there is food to choose from. When we arrived to eat halfway through the serving time, we could choose from a few kinds of sides, but there wasn't any or very little meat left, so it was a kind of a survival game. After a few days food gets quite boring, as there isn't much variety.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the size of our room exceeded our expectations. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere partially due to its unique appearance and has kept its shape quite well.

Some of the rooms lack air conditioning, which can be a big problem considering the heat. Some bathroom doors don't have locks (at the very least our didn't)

Swimming pool are good and clean, the food was better than expected, the employees are very kind

Uncomfortable beds, no refrigerator or minibar in the room

The Wi-fit did not work in the room. I had to use my mobile as hot spot paying additional £ 2.00 a day to my mobile network supplier.

Tha fact that in my requests I ask for quiet room with good Wi-Fi, but Wi-fi does not exist in the room.

Very good food and very friendly staff.
